I am really hooked on his shows esp the "F" word show. He is so into perfection and wanting the best from all his help that I wish I was young enough to start a prof as a chef but at 62 my life is over.
I had a very similar upbringing to Ramsay. I read his book and don't mind saying it made me cry ahha. He is a huge inspiration to me in general, despite me having nothing to do with the catering industry and profession. His enthusiasm is just immense.
i ate at his restuarant in London, Maze, and let me tell you the food was excellent. I saw Gordon that day and yes, he is a very down to earth guy...I do have major respect for the guy, and yes, he can bloody well cook good food.!!!
thats exactly rite he isnt an asshole at all he is just very passionate about what he does and sometimes gets frustrated when people cant do what is so blatantly obvious and if he didn't care he wouldnt go round helping these people fix up their resturants and he is also a very loving husband and father
George strom...... is a damn good interviewer. that's what i want from an interview-information. Interviewers try to be too clever far to often. I remember years ago Bob Costas from NBC Olympics and sportscasting fame, had an interview program and he came up with briliant questions... always felt like i knew more about the person instead of just the usual talking points and such. Anyway, my point is: this guy is a good interviewer
He has a total of 12 stars. He is one of the 3 chefs to keep 3 stars, the other 2 are Heston Blumenthal and Alain Roux. Gordon Ramsey has 3 and a couple more have 2 going for 3. He had 3 at Aubergine, but it wasnt his restaurant.
Ok my apologies ive just heard similar things on American shows and im crap at recognising accents. But my point still stands why state he came from a council house and say it like its some sort of homeless asylum lol, Council homes are normal homes except that the house is rented from the Government and you pay the Council instead of a private landlord.
yes and they are legends but this interview is about chef ramsay not about them i think that they are two chefs that gordon respects and looks up to as well tho
yeh i get that part but if the head chef wins it for that resturant then leaves and goes some where else does the star stay with the resturant or does the chef themselves retain it
ah, how I wish I could have went to this episode of the Hour, I went t the one two days before. I was kinda pissed when George said who was the guest or the upcoming week lol.
Yea and usually Council housing is made for the low socio-economic groups of society.. that's why they're so bloody cheap, and substandard also. You don't see Elton John living in council flats now, do you? "Oh yes, I think i'll move into a council flat because I don't like private landlords", gimee a break. Gordon would highlight that so people know where he came from and so they can realize that they can achieve anything also.
Please don't hate Americans. I know the majority of them are HI DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?! WHERE IS MCDONALDS? But some of us are intelligent, cultured and nice.
He bounces when he stands and sits, not sure why he feels the need to do that. He talks very fast and he has the largest stress wrinkles I've ever seen.
probably just a mannerism he has. people have certain habits when they speak, such as speaking with their hands or facial expressions... bouncing slightly is just something he does.
What is wrong with having pride in your accomplishments?! Sounds like you have a low level of accomplishment yourself. Even at that, have pride regardless of where you are from!
ah I think ya talking a load of bollocks. he said he only saw this mistress 4 times and it never went up to 7 years the affair. His kids bullied? I think that's a lie cos he did say that he'll never abuse his kids after his upbringing.

This guy is a great interviewer but I think only people in Canada know him. I wish this show would air in Europe...
yesssss! i wanted to see this one. awesome!
thats exactly rite he isnt an asshole at all he is just very passionate about what he does and sometimes gets frustrated when people cant do what is so blatantly obvious and if he didn't care he wouldnt go round helping these people fix up their resturants and he is also a very loving husband and father
Surprisingly likable guy when he's not cutting other chefs' heads off...
dude, where's the second part of these interviews? No part two on the this and the Feist interview!!! come on CBC, post them up!
For the record, Martin was the General Manager not the Operations Manager.
LOL Ratatouille Is my favorite Pixar movie and Ive wondered if GR had seen it lol
he's a legend, very focused, passionate and a comeplete perfectinist, what more could you want with someone making your meal?
Me, too. He's the man!
he was at Chef's House outside of George Brown College in Toronto on King Street... he is brilliant... Jamie Oliver was there too....
awesome. Whats the music at the beginning????
My 2 favourite bad boys...
It's MUCH better if you use high quality

OMG I love Gordon Ramsay
"Look it's fucking rotten you fucking idiot"
Hmm? I don't remember him doing a restaurant in Toronto o_O
he is not disgusting he has worked his ass off top get where he is today there is no luck involved in it
I like them both. i like f word more because of the recipes.
TFC! TFC! TFC!
who actually gets the star is it the resturant so it goes to the owner or is it the head chef?
yeah, I agree, I like it to watch gordon cook in his house though.. :)
Why's this dude getting thumbs down? It's true.
I think Gordon has ADHD and ADD in one... It's a gift and I'm so intrigued by it. Really fascinated by Gordon
It can be obvious when they are dubbing, and they do dub it.
I dont care what man hates him, WE LOVE HIM.
sorry
thank you for replying without being rude i appreciate it
nobody is touching or eating the wels catfish🐟!
ah, how I wish I could have went to this episode of the Hour, I went t the one two days before. I was kinda pissed when George said who was the guest or the upcoming week lol.
well i gathered that was his origins with a surname of Stroumboulopoulos lol
The drawback (or advantage, depending on your fantasy) is that she is an out lesbian.
the whole restaurant. duh!
Poor George, he's not that bad lookin'.
haha, im just kiddin to piss you guys off. I think he's great.
Errrr finzo27 I hate to break it to you but Canadians are also Americans. Just like your counterparts in the US we all live in NORTH AMERICA
mr jake gyllenhaal looks different today like he lost some weight.

"Notes: has never eaten at any of his restaurants" most interesting of uninteresting notes I've seen...
gordon rules :D!!
true true...so the cook is making more (millions) than chefs like Wolfgang and Emral? ugh
i agree its getting pathetic total jealousy is what it is im talking bout digbycat by the way
would agree with what?
i wonder what he thinks of that fake chef Rachel Ray
"every city in the world has its own shitholes..." lol
Rachel Ray is a COOK not a Chef. >>>> She mixes food, chefs create

***** Yeah I've noticed he also does it on his shows as well. It's a good possibility that he just reacts that way when he's overstimulated mentally.
probably just a mannerism he has. people have certain habits when they speak, such as speaking with their hands or facial expressions... bouncing slightly is just something he does.
ummm dude, his father was a drunk and a bum. Read his biography before making comments.
he is greek...
I bet he can't cook for shizzles
what is kale? sorry but im not a chef
yes being a canadian chef i agree what a bunch of crap!
Go try some then give an informed opinion.
no, not true.
What is wrong with having pride in your accomplishments?! Sounds like you have a low level of accomplishment yourself. Even at that, have pride regardless of where you are from!

very good interviewer . you can tell he isnt American . its a shame for Canadians that their accent is similar
Government housing project? do they mean council housing?
Why do american shows have to make normal people sound like they live in an asylum jesus...
what kind of name is this???
Stroumboulopoulos???
thats made up, this show isn't real.
His restaurants are tanking. His money is from TV now
.....Couldnt they have got an interviewer with a pronouncable name?
He could have changed it like Larry King did, but then that wouldn't be very Canadian.
Couldn't a commenter learn a fuckin name?
It started with "Boiling Point" Strombo back to school... And I'm unsubscribing... Fake shit...
Rachel Ray is a COOK not a Chef. >>>> She mixes food, chefs create
