It always amazes me how many jobs one has to master as a farmer. I guess after changing tractor tracks, changing the tires on your personal vehicle is a snap. 😂
Your tool boxes.......your so lucky. I wish there was a great dealer up in ont canada with great prices. Our tools are all over, and in like 4 different boxes...........😢🇨🇦🇨🇦
Hey Chet you should put two more tanks on the back tracks then you would have 2,000 gallons of fertilizer on the tractor. You would be able to go a long time without running out then. I love all your videos. The day wouldn't go as good if you didn't joke around with each other. Keep the video's going love watching you guys work and have fun. God bless you all. 😂👍
Is paraquat still used in the USA? It's getting banned is so many countries at the moment which sucks as it's one of the only chemicals that kills rye grass these days.
you add wood at the end of the ramps so the tires continues to keep the blades high enough to get off the trailer and step it down slowly from say 2 X12 to 1X12 or have plywood or something similar under the 2X12's should work better to not destroy anything next time.
Will you show breaking into the first field with combine when it's time, seems everyone is scared to show that for some reason, I am trying to figure that out, thanks for sharing, show the crane next time, brand, motor , howz it set up
When you see the shipping cost for the track, it's much cheaper to head to Tractor Supply and purchase galvanized tube or one of the plastic tubs they sell.
Love the Salfords. Love the drone footage you get of them in action, too. That may be a hint.... ; ) Edit to add: Hey Chet, if you actually see this, just thought I'd mention that you might wanna add a little something to the "please subscribe" part of your videos. UA-cam has unsubscribed me twice from your channel over the last year. Might wanna ask guys to double check that they're *still* subscribed.
I have also become concerned with chemicals sprayed on our food. Robert Kennedy, Jr has brought concerns as to possible poisons being passed through to the consumer in food products.
Howdy Chet, I hope ya'll are doing well, Hold on, hold on, you gotta take the tracks off and do it again, you put the new tracks on, upside down, do it again.. 😂 Stay safe, God Bless and Farm on my Friends
Awesome video Chet. Kinda shocked to see that you were tbe first one to play on tbr new toy (crane) thought for sure Eric would of been tbe first one to get stuck up on it with no way down. 😊😊😊 DougO' is always a sucker for a dum dum or a toosie pop or even a charms blow pop. Its kool to see that the crain is already paying for itself. I'm wondering how much money we could raise if we were to pay you to trap Eric up on it for at least 30-45 mins LOL just make sure hes has a good safty harnesses on. Dont need him injured. O' while you're at it, get the clippers out and make him think you're going to shave his head. LOL 🚜🚜🚜
None. How much chemical to you think they are applying to the field? 51-acre field 1,000 gallon of water the Sharpen is one oz per acres the Paraquat is from 12to 20 oz per acres. So, in the 1,000 gallon you will have 51 oz of Sharpen and 612 oz to 1020 oz of Paraquat depending on the mix rate. So, you have at most 1071 oz to cover 51 acres or 2,221,560 sq feet or 38.7 football fields from endzone to endzone. Take a little bit of time and look up the price and the mix rate and you see they don't use much. And it doesn't go into the beans.
That must be why china, Australia and most European countries have band paraquat than. We use it just to kill plants resistant to round up in the non growing season and that's been deemed a health risk.
I'm a faithful viewer and subscriber and enjoy the channel. Please be clear on certain things notably the herbicide and the precautions taken to prevent accidents, your setup is great but saying it takes so little per acre to do the job and not explaining how much it takes to harm you is not enough for non farming viewers. I've worked on the farm for almost 10 yrs. And we all know to take proper precautions. Just a little explanation will be helpful. Also please don't push sponsorship products like processed food it's not good for you even though it's made from good ingredients, it's still processed. Thank you and no autographs wanted just a farmer saying his 2¢.....
People often exaggerate how deadly chemicals are. I've heard stories of people using deadly chemicals in their garden, just wait a couple days then it's not poisonous then eat it.
They do it on the Black beans only to even the crop out in the field. Some will die sooner than other. With black beans it is about getting everything to the same point at one time.
It accelerates the plant to die and dry up, if they waited for it to do it naturally it would maybe be another few weeks or maybe a month. Since they did replanting it extended it out.

Nope
Why would you eat that Factor shit
Factor offers Military, Veterans and First Responder discount as well.
Chet you are extremely intelligent when it comes to farming.
At your age be thankful you are able to have the opportunities you do... love the videos! ✌️
Big Swede is a darn surgeon on that bobcat.
I liked Dougo’s shirt “Dougo for president”. I would vote for him!
Watching the track replacement was very interesting. The Swede had it looking like a ballet pushing the tracks on.
Dougo for president...I'm in 👍
would be so awesome. common sense would return.
If you know you know
Is this why we don't see a Trump banner on the wall?

@@MrHurricaneFloyd people are so so goofy that way. Sad we can't have disagreements and still get along on other things anymore.
Thank You Larson Farms!
Good job Team Larson changing those tractor tracks that crane seem like it paid for itself. Good job thank you for taking. Us along
I see your finally getting some quality machinery, red , nice color.
Thanks for sharing, Chet. As always be safe, stay well. Victor
I have to say that the chemical mix trailer is my favorite piece of equipment on your farm
You could use the old tracks to make raise gardens for your grandma
Be careful with the paraquat! That is some nasty stuff! I knew an old spray rig operator that all but refused to use it
Another awesome video. Thanks for sharing Chet.
Changing those tracks makes you appreciate the day of fun on the golf course.
The crane already is a game changer for you all 🙌
As always truly love seeing your videos guys much love and respect thanks for sharing

Just be very careful with handling parquet. It has been linked to Parkinson. Good to see your protective gloves on. All the best. Steve in New Zealand
Fantastic content.
Thanks for the explanation on the turtle beans. Interesting stuff.
The crane is a game changer.
Just so you know Chet, most scissor lifts have an override switch at ground level, just in case you want to get even sometime.
Maybe when unloading eq. Put timber under wheels on dirt to raise unit up to get off trailer without hitting unit on trailer
Started harvest this past Monday in central Indiana with no rain this mouth. Beans are down 8s and even some 7s on moisture 😬
Patiently waiting for the awesome harvest content
Coming soon!

Great video. TFS always enjoyable
I'm colorblind ill take the purple ones they look the same to me
We really enjoyed the video Chet. Thanks and have a good one!😅👍❤️

Those tracks on their side would make for a good raised garden

Ya see there? Those quad tracks are high maintenance!!
Chet, have y’all seen the new John Deere “Large frame” 9XR? It has wider tracks and when configured properly has approximately 953 hp.
You must have missed this video. ua-cam.com/video/swSdQ2h8luU/v-deo.htmlsi=AFEDVGiK8E2ejcK9
Chet
Great video of track change outs.
Be careful with too much of that tofu it can remove some vitamins from your body.
Please take care.
I'll take them for a raised garden
Those used tracks make a nice raised garden
Nice El Camino by the shop!!!
Hey Larson farms I’m going thru a loss rn any advice?
Of all the things you guys have, why dont you have a pintle hitch plate that goes on your payloader for offloading equipment?
you add wood at the end of the ramps so the tires continues to keep the blades high enough to get off the trailer and step it down slowly from say 2 X12 to 1X12 or have plywood or something similar under the 2X12's should work better to not destroy anything next time.

Great video good to see y'all
Why did the tracks come new? They looked not so bad 🤔
Chet, Love the music while installing the tracks
Send me that old torn track, it would make an awesome raised bed.
When you see the shipping cost for the track, it's much cheaper to head to Tractor Supply and purchase galvanized tube or one of the plastic tubs they sell.
Can you farm without spraying chemicals
Chet is just so damn cute with his expressions!!🙃🙃
I didn’t think you could use Paraquat on edibles.. That was a surprise for me.
Thats the problem , all these chemicals in food. Paraquat was banned in the UK in 2007, seriously deadly stuff.
I have about ten different shades of beans in the cupboard. Purple would be just fine too.
I always enjoy your presentation Chet and team. Cool, crisp, and to the point! What I need after a long day!! Carry on my wayward sons lol !!🤗🍺🧋🍕

You gotta love the skip in the video during the unload. It's a family show :)

How do y'all make through your winters if you havta put on sweat shirts at 60 degrees?
Awesome video. thank you guys
What was your final thoughts on the Apache?
They loved everything about it except it needed to carry a larger tank.
Even with the 600 gallon tank it was faster then the towed sprayer
Nice
Update 😊
How many hours do quad tracks last approximately?
Magnifique vidéo et le démontage des chenille et remontage et bien intéressante et bien équipés 😂😮😅
I have that exact same microwave . . . with the same crazy tune when finished.
My cousin used an old track as a sandbox
Chet, how's the crane working out.
I like the plug that Zach Johnson gave you.
Who do you get your tracks from and is there a brand you would rather have.
That is one sweet red tractor.
I was joking. I do have a friend that does dozer track repair and those old dozer tracks make great fire rings.
God bless you all at Larson Farms!
U shood eat those factor meals for breakfast lunch and supper they so good 4 u!*
Factor in the crane for sure. Meal well 👍👍👍
Why didn’t you use the new overhead crane to remove the new cultivator from the trailer?
A very quick google would tell you that the cultivator weighs 23000 and the weight limit on their crane is 7000.
I can definitely relate to the first thing poop
The thing you got to remember about taking anything off a trailer is it’ll only turnover once.
dishsoap is your friend when doing tracks was told that by a case tech

Looks like tv dinners from the 70's
I feel like you have explained this before but why don't you ( and all the rest of the farm tubers ) use a water softener instead of ams?
Ams is a water softener
The AMS does more than just soften the water. It also helps the chemical enter the weeds leaf to kill it.
Brody don’t try washing while you’re hanging from a crane
Newton was right, opposite force, you spin like a top😊😅
Your a month behind on harvest and in northern illinois is a month ahead on harvest
Another great one...
Why do you kill the plant before harvesting? Does it make the pods split easier or something like that?
They do it on the Black beans only to even the crop out in the field. Some will die sooner than other. With black beans it is about getting everything to the same point at one time.

again - nice ride along
Oh my gosh I kant believe your swinging around on the new crane lift without the proper safety gear. Now go put a cup on 😇😇😇😇😇
Bought another disc?
