Hi guys. Just watched a couple of YT channels previewing what's new at this year's farm progress show. Elmer's has a new grain cart that holds 3000 bushels and Massey is debuting the S9425.
Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Busy time for you all getting equipment out of storage and ready for harvest. Just doesn’t feel like harvest time already but time will soon be here. I see the old kw truck sold. Dougo and Randy seemed sad to see it go. They had it a long time. That is the way it goes though. Your new high pressure fire hose is really working good cleaning equipment up. Nice for you to have. About it I guess. You all hang in there and be safe. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Always impressed with how you guys are constantly cleaning. It shows you are committed to keeping equipment clean. Also means a lot to Kibble when they pick it up. Good video.
Omg I can’t believe ur lease is up on the Deere’s seams like u guys just got them this spring must’ve been all the trouble with the one that made the time go by fast otherwise keep up the good content Chet love watching u guys
Opening that shed door - scared me and my kids too, disgusting, time to run go take a hot shower - we could see the lice and bird flu viruses jumping on your arms. That old shed is a parking nightmare - building a new one next year for sure! Let's take out those nice comfy seats from the leased machine, they won't miss 'em! The family and I are addicted to these great LF videos.
My Dad was insistent on keeping equipment clean. I think our small square JD baler which could have been 25+ years old when it was sold had no rust and original paint. When we were done for the season, we even pulled out what ever hay that was still in the bale chamber. It got a good wash down, maybe not Larson quality. After it dried off Dad would mix up a little diesel fuel with some used motor oil and spray everything down. Protected from rust and when we sold it it bought a better price.
With this heat the ole Black Beans will be turning fats today. Toasty day, hope you don’t get nasty weather tonight sounded like SD and southern MN hit again.
In the times that we are in what is the benefit of lease over buying ? I've always figured that if you lease someone else is making money on you. Just wondering.
That's funny what you said about the doors on the eave side of the shed rather than the gable side. Your fellow Minnesota UA-camr (MF) said the same thing in one of his recent videos. I think everyone who builds a shed would like to put the doors on the eave side but it's way more work and waaayy more expensive. By the way, what was it that fell down when you opened the shed door? It looked like a dead raccoon.
I have been watching your channel since the beginning. You guys are awesome. It is good to see a family work together, pray together and grow together. If I was closer I would volunteer to drive grain truck for harvest just so I could help razz Dougo. Praying for a safe and bountiful harvest.
Thanks for your video and I dont mean to detract from your excellent videos, but this person puts out impressive videos of combining on the Palouse area. His videos are worth looking at on UA-cam. The latest video is titled, - Steep hills and harvesters sliding on soft ground
Come on Chet, you grew up on a farm and something from above drops on you and it’s gross, disgusting??? 🤣😂😅I’ve never used those two words in my life. Keep up the great videos though!!!!
Good lord Chet the pumping of the fuel out of the rent tractor was almost over the top lol, we've got a really good dealership around my area if you rent a tractor from them they deliver it full of fuel with the understanding it goes back the same way, naturally there are some that send their lease tractor back and don't honor the handshake agreement of sending it back full, the dealership never says anything but it reflects big time on the farmers that do that
NO DON"T DO IT: if you build a barn and put doors on the eave side of the barn, YOU WILL HAVE snow and ice problems in front of your doors. IF YOU MUST put doors on those sides, at least make provisions to put a 3 or 4 foot overhang, so you don't have to shovel snow away from the doors !!!!!!!
Still better than anything on television.

On the stalk stompers pipe, use never cease and you shouldn't have rust issues.
What’s “never cease”
Dang Chet, I thought it was a dead cat falling on you @ 1:00 ! LOL
Im with Randy and Dougo its kinda a sad day when you give up such a nice truck you bought long ago

Hey chet. Where did y'all get your foam cannon? Does it run on shop air, pressure washer, or water hose? I think it's a wonderful tool.
That scream and dance was hilarious 😂
Critter nest
So impressed with how clean that tractor is your returning. You and Kibble have a great relationship.

Have not run through the flex-heads since last season.
Hopefully tomorrow’s weather doesn’t mess too much with you guys!
Just delivered 2 6rs to kibble in sleepy eye.
Great video good to see y'all
Just wondering if you remove your Larson Farms stickers and tractor numbers before you return your leased machines?
Does it a prybar setting to stop if I t senses one In the corn 😊
John Deere must love getting their leased equipment back from the Larson’s. Everything comes back brand new clean and mint
I hope your harvest goes smooth with minimum struggles (duggo's)😂
Get used to time flying, Chet, the older you get the faster it goes.
Watch Ivers Farm they have a perfect cold storage shed it is wide 1 end door and 1 side door
So what is your feeling about JD proprietary issues?
I wonder how many hours a year you guys spend moving equipment from place to place in your yard?
So many
Are you guys coming to thr farm progress show this year
Yes!
What going to replace the tractor that going back to Kimble
What solution do you use for the foam gun? #2. Do you end up scrub brushing at all, i did not see a brush come out? Struck my curiosity. Thank you

Could you talk about the government subsidiaries yall get?
Do a tool Box tour
Did I miss corn harvest videos?
Yes they are done with the corn, just waiting on the beans now👍👍
Not really 😎
Yes they finished corn about a month ago.
A lot of the time aftermarket products are better because they see and take heed of where the manufacturer has got it wrong .
Wow all that new iron on the farm and your laying on the floor transferring fuel😂
Zach just mentioned that last week on his video!! Lol
Dove they’re friends you think they don’t know that?
@@gregjames5070 gosh you are helpful at trolling

Come on Chet, you grew up on a farm and something from above drops on you and it’s gross, disgusting??? 🤣😂😅I’ve never used those two words in my life. Keep up the great videos though!!!!
Exactly how much is a TAD, and is that a metric or imperial standard of measure.
A tad is a smidgen more than a skosh. Definitely an SAE measurement.
Hi
👍❤️
Who is older Dougo or Randy??
👍
Did you grow up farming????
Chet. how come we don't see your brother working on the farm. is he adopted so he doesn't have to work on the family farm?
Stone is pursuing a different career path
In a different video a few years ago they moved Stone to the city to pursue his town job. He said that he was done washing equipment.
Kinda nosey aren’t you?
Yeah.....Adopted people don't have to work on Farms. 😮😮
Hopefully there isn't to much won't with the headers
No raccoon came out!!😊

Time for some power doors on that shed so critter nests don’t fall on you
Awesome video Chet. 🚜🚜🚜
What fell when you opened the shed door? At first, I thought it was a dead raccoon, but maybe it was a bird's nest. 🦝👀
Bird nest!!
👍👍❤
Glad to see that hideous tractor go. I am sure she did a great job, but damn she has been an eyesore.
I’ll get rid of all the green equipment.
