fusj i just wanna let you know that i was treating games the exact same way i was treating movies for a long time. where i dont want ANYTHING to be interrupted with outside intrusion and i dont want to miss any little detail and dont want to hear any other sound. then one day i decided to do the unthinkable and watch your elden ring video while i was playing klonoa heroes at the same time and everything worked just fine. thx for helping me realize i can multitask like that
it really depends on the game, imo. Some games just draw you in and you want to bask in it. Other games are best as something to do with your hands while listening to someone babble about assorted nonsense. Just gotta figure out what works for you and the game you're playing.

Same with phones, even the "ethically produced" phones often need to use precious metals from Congo/Rwanda (where they are often mined using child laborers), or are produced in China.
I also think it's less about making JKR less rich - you're right, we can't - but more about signaling that transphobia is unacceptable and not good for business. I wonder, if JKR was instead a raging homophobe that called lesbians in women's changing rooms predators and called for laws against same-sex marriage, would you still buy the game? 2. Furthermore, Warner Bros. is less likely to follow through on that Harry Potter "reboot" that's reportedly in the works
3. This will have minimal impact on Avalanche, Warner Bros. or any other company or their employees, as they'll simply greenlight other projects
4. But it will mean that Ur-Karen's royalty checks may dry up, meaning she won't have the wealth to amplify her own platform or to funnel into "charities" that seek to influence policy.
