  • Jokes aside, the instructors at STT are pretty rad. They really go out of their way to help out or give valuable insight even in the upper levels. All of them are very experienced riders and some have competed professionally. Use their knowledge!

Wow damn thank you so much for this comment! I really don't know what I'm doing in any regard 🤣 but ya know, I watched a UA-cam video and it seems OK haha it is a lot of work though so I very much appreciate you saying so.

What camera are you using inside your helmet?

Could you pleas explain why you use telemetry overlay and race render? Why both and not one? Do you need to convert to one and then to the other because of the recording devices? Thanks brother/

Of course. When I first started making these videos, Telemetry Overlay (TO) was not compatible with Dynojet's log files and Race Render (RR) was not compatible with my Insta360's GPX files or my heart monitor's FIT files. So I designed a custom gauge in RR and used TO for the rest but since then I've worked with the dev of TO who has since added native Dynojet support. Although I still use RR for my bike's telemetry and the track map because it looks better in my opinion :)

@@alixvandurand awesome brother. Thanks for such a great and thorough answer. Would you still purchase the insta 360 camera if you were starting all over today? Or, would you do another camera for ease?

@@JeLifeCoach I would do the exact same setup, except I'd get the X4 since it has better resolution. The X3's 5.7K is just barely enough for a 360 camera because you're spreading that resolution in the entire field of vision so when you reframe it like I do you're actually getting more like a 1080p. It's why I'm pretty zoomed out most the time and you get that fisheye effect. I mean it's cool cause you can see more but the real reason is the more zoomed out you are the better quality the image. But I've spoke with guys who had GoPros and such and they all say that the insta360 app is much better. I've never used a GoPro before but doing the whole reframe in the insta360 app is so easy. I really I don't have much to complain about it.

@@alixvandurand thank you! That’s exactly what I wanted to know. I’m gonna do same setup then for my track car! Appreciate you!

Rushing to get suited up, recording equipment running, plus the heat, plus being dehydrated, plus the excitement and the adrenaline before getting on track. It's not all that high 😜
