well hello to your darling bowl/saucer of! i don't think i ever seen that-or i missed it. it looks to be filled with treasures! all of the altered paperclips you've done are just SO fun gayle. tfs and inspiring all of us. BREAKING NEWS: Woman in Montana successfully wrangles a CROPADILE!!-the crowd cheers-standing ovation follows" 😆👏 i'm a day behind, but i've seen a few pictures of the snow in Montana today (sunday) yikes! way too early for sure. ok, on to watch todays "show" 👍💕
So cute. That retro slide one with the red thread... da bomb! I think it would be fun and soooo helpful to somehow watch you clean... I need help thinking through that process. But if you don't wanna, I understand!
Gayle, your video and yourself are as lovely as ever. For large puzzle pieces, I like to find puzzles at the thrift store and then put them in water. Most of the cardboard soaks right off and leaves the glossy picture part intact, and a thin layer of the cardboard that is a lot harder to get off but gives the piece about cardstock sturdiness. Let dry flat. I press mine in my make-shift press, made of cheap bamboo cutting boards and clamps. Kids' puzzle pieces can be gessoed and napkin or tissue paper applied. Happy crafting!
I love these! I think your recreations always turn our better than the original. The boys in the corrugated cardboard is so Kool!! I wanna do it now. Ps.. I did a whole bunch of sewing Christmas embellishments after watching your video on it. Thank you for all your time and love. 💙❄️💙❄️⛄️❄️☃️❄️💙❄️💙
I like them both! The button on first one is perfect and the corrugated is super! I love working with it too! Both are sweet! Puzzle piece is so cool too! Tfs🤗👏🏼👏🏼
Hi Gayle, I love love love love your paperclips they are just gorgeous huni. From yesterday's part 1 paperclips to todays loved them all huni. Ty for sharing. Xxx
The idea with the greaseproof paper under the modge podge lid is brilliant! Stops me having to ask my husband to open it. I usually fast forward through videos but I find your videos really funny and informative. Thanks for the laughs! :)
I love them.... and i loooove your videos !! You crack me up Gayle (is that the right word in english ?) !! When you cut the slide, i thought "wait Gayle, i think you cut the inside instead of the outside line.... !! and yes, you coudn't find the line when you want to glue it !! Gayle, i absolutely love your natural way of "mistakes", which we all do !! Thank you again for sharing and for being such a joy !! Sabine
It is just so fun to be with you.... It is like we are there with you . You are so inviting and fun. Love watching you work. I am inspired often with you at the helm.
Hi Gayle I love ❤️ that you do your diffuser with focus 🧘♀️ ! I do my space with smoke , candle with oils or even short meditation for focus and clarify
Love following you and your crafty adventures. Love the film negative paperclips. I have made something similar and will now have to pull out my stash and make a few like these. Thanks Gayle. Have a fun retreat weekend.
Cold, rainy night in Wy. Wonderful way to hibernate, watching you create. You are getting really good with that cropodile. I can honestly say I know a lady who wrestles cropodiles🤭🤭😂.
I’m new to your videos and I am finding everything just wonderful. I have so many ideas for things now. You’re also a hoot. I find myself laughing with you a lot.
WOW, Gayle, these altered paper clips are such a fun idea. First time I have seen them and Now i JUST have to try and make some. Yours are super pretty and I just LOVE the carbdoard one. I don't think I have ever seen the bub clips before, will just have to look out for them. Thanks for the inspiration (again). As you can see, I am catching up with the older videos and they are just so inspiring, I am learning such a lot. Thank you for these videos too, and for keeping a playlist for us to go back on. Hope you are well and keeping safe. Hope your grand daughters recital went off well. Blessings and hugs ss always from Cape Town. Diana
I’ve been watching some older videos, and this one was very interesting. This probably sounds outrageous, but it’s true. I have at least a thousand slides of all configurations and types and subjects. Many of the ones were sellable or giftable so I lotted them and disposed of them. That was a drop in the bucket. So I like this for ideas. If there are some different ones or new ideas you’ve come across, I’d love to see them.
Hi Gayle. I try to watch all of your videos. You create so many unique ephemera and embellishment pieces and inspire me so much. So thank you for all that you do for all of us crafters.
think you have mastered the grommet tool! My mother was a commercial artist in the late 40's and early 50's. She would be amazed the way you turn these little ads into works of art! So Beautiful!
I love the cardboard birdies. These altered paper clips are so cute. I love your containers as well you have given me many ideas for storage as well. I won’t even need to shop. 😀 thank you for sharing all you art craftiness.
Hi Gayle! I have avalanches of stuff every day in my craft room :) My poor dog always seems to be right below it when t happens. Thankfully its only papers or fabric.. but he always gives me the"Look".. you know, the look :) Love the eyelet hinges! TFS! :) Love your channel! Pam :)
Just loved this video, Gayle. I listened to it traveling the 8-10 hour trip from PA to IN to see my family, mostly my mother, who isn't feeling too well. I watched it at stops and last night, too. I really need to get a Cropodile now so I can do those hanging tags. Looks like fun!
You give me so many good ideas, Gayle, I love it! I only recently discovered your channel, and I'm watching tons of your videos. I made two of these paperclips and was very happy with how they came out. I can't wait to try some of the other ideas. (First I have to find someone with slides who will let me steal the frame off one!)
Gayle I am just getting into journaling and I'm coffee staining paper today. It has been so much fun. I followed your instructions. My daughter in law is joining me in this craft. Thanks for all your videos that are helping me learn.
I hate when I fall behind with current Gayle videos but then I love it because I can binge watch them to catch up and it’s like spending half the day with muh’ Gayle! Of course now I need to get a cropadoodledoo thingy and grommets because I want to put them in All. The. Things. Also, I have a theory about your focus essential oil; I think it’s incorrectly labelled and what you have is catnip. 😻🤪 Another fun video, thank you! 😘🤗
I am so thrilled to start my Morning with Gayle today...esp since I have been looking up on Pint and UA-cam how to alter those Polaroids and YAY HERE YOU ARE SAVING THE DAY LOL I JUST LOVE YA!....I have a ton from this scrap place I go for awesome jj stuff that I get for like 10 cents! wooohooo This is gonna be fun!
Good for you getting a flu shot, I wish more people would do it. I have been told that when it stings, it is not the contents of the injection, it is because the nurse did not let the alcohol swabbed skin dry first. The needle carries alcohol with it, that is what stings. Love the altered paper clips! I have never been a fan of paper clips, but these I like! After a rough week with a sick hubby, I am ready to spend the weekend at my craft desk, being “just like Gayle” 😀.
Gayle, just found you and I love everything you do. Very interesting and entertaining. That's all I've been doing all week and I did a few ephemeras as well. Thanks so much for sharing
I love corrugated cardboard look. The napkin is amazing, something I had not thought of. ❤
