Just found you on UA-cam and I love this video. These clips turned out beautiful! I don't do much journaling but I do make jewelry and these are so unique and beautiful they could actually be turned into earrings with just the addition of an ear wire.

Actually, Shirley Kathan-Sayess, the saying is "The Devil is in the Details" meaning things may look simple, but wait till you get down to the details. Harder than you think, etc.

Those are beautiful little jewels! You can get a manicure tool for nail art that picks up the tiny bits much easier than tweezers. Google "Rhinestone Picker". Or make one with a tiny stick of wood and a dot of dried wax at the end. I just dip a cuticle pusher stick (or cotton bud) into melted wax until a little ball of wax dries on the end.

2nd comment (sorry!) So, I made these with your beautiful ocean eyes kit and just couldn’t keep myself from making tiny changes to turn them into earrings!! First, cover up most of the paper clip with the beautiful paper, add glossy accents (especially to the little flowers), make sure you have a bead dangle at the bottom and add an ear wire to the top. They are so so cute! My friends went crazy for them! We need some more variety of the tiny flowers to make them in all different colors!(hint!) Thank you so very much! At first I hesitated to buy the kit because I wasn’t making anything ocean related but kept going back to look because the design is so beautifully unique! When I saw the paper clips I realized that the papers can be used in many different ways! More please!! Love it!💕

I love love, love how you altered and decorated these paperclips I really like the rounded edges. They just seem to flow where the others don't !!
I have several sizes of paperclip, tiny and regular, including the ones you're calling jumbo and one much bigger and shorter in length. The wire of the biggest one is actually smaller than my big ones. The would make nice ones cause they have more average to decorate !

The smaller side is raised as a result when I wrap the paper it is raised on one side....I don't know if I could explain to you...
