I am glad you don't get rid of stuff very often. I'd rather see people not buy the stuff to begin with.

I also wear socks to bed most of the time. My feet are typically so cold at night and I CANNOT fall asleep when my feet are cold so I relate to socks in bed. I always just use a fresh clean set :)

I also have acne prone, oily, sensitive skin and the only thing that’s helped me is simplifying my skincare routine. I learned that acne prone skin actually needs lots of moisture. I use dr bronners soap and a basic facial moisturizer and that’s it. I haven’t had an acne flare up in years! It’s so tempting to try all of the things and all of the skincare but for my skin using those two products and that’s it has been amazing. Less is more with acne prone skin. My diet contributes to acne flare ups as well. I used to have bad acne spots as well and since not wearing makeup and just using a basic cleanser and moisturizer, they’ve gone away!

As I got older I don’t like fragrance anymore… fragrance in my product, and perfume, and soap..
I try to buy everything fragrance free..love these kind of videos ❤️
I’m a big thrifter and here in my home town tops are $4.79 pajamas are $2.99 and they are mint, mostly good name brands like Crew , Talbots , and loft , I thrifted my whole winter wardrobe because I lost 22 lbs and needed all new clothes, I donated all my clothes and only spent $75 for an entire wardrobe
I feel so bad that other states the thrift stores have raised their prices so high

Those sheet masks you mentioned reminded me of a cleanser by la mer. It was a sample size I got in an advent calendar so Im not too worried about wasting money on it as there were other products by other brands in the advent calendar that I like.
Thank you for sharing. I do enjoy watching these types of anti haul videos.

Just went to Italy and we did not have to pay for our carry on luggage or personal item. Our tickets included one checked bag as well. Any more than one checked bag must be paid for. That's been my experiences.

I just came back from a trip. And we didn’t pay for carry-on. In my experience, they were going to charge us to check in luggage, but we were planning on carrying it on but then when we got to the gate, they made an announcement that they needed people to check their luggage and it was free. We checked in our luggage going to and coming home. So that’s a little travel hack.

I have a similar style to what you’re aiming for based off previous videos! I get all my clothes from thrift stores! Yes some are pricy but I would try to look into thrift shops on not so nice sides of towns, local thrift shops or see if there’s a goodwill bins or an outlet thrift near you!
Also even if one thing is pricy don’t give up looking. Last thrifting trip a saw most clothes for $13 but was able to find a beautiful trench coat for $2!! There’s always some cheap thing in there. But goodwill is pricy usually. Def look for a local shop or Salvation Army does half off clothing on Wednesdays. (I would call to confirm yours does)
Having a thrifting wish list helps a lot, I feel like when I go in wanting an exact item I always get lucky finding it! Maybe I’m manifesting haha but yeah I hope you’re able to find a cheap place soon to try out a new style :)

I have always used that Pacifica face wash for years too and I agree that it dries out your skin. It’s very good to use when you have a lot of makeup on. Gets your face real clean. But it is real drying. 😕

The carryon will depend on the airline. That bag would be considered a personal item since its an underseat size and would be free on all airlines. If you had another bag, and you were traveling with a budget airline like Frontier, spirit, allegiant, etc you would have to pay for a carryon (since only 1 personal item sized bag is free, additional bags cost more). On regular airlines you can have a personal item and carryon free though, but the ticket will cost more. Hope this makes sense. My personal item sized luggage like that has saved me hundreds of $

How do you deal with family not agreeing with minimalism? I grew up in a very hoarded house with my single mother and now that I'm married with a family of my own she doesn't understand why I don't hold on to things especially things I don't need now but she feels I might need later at some point which I never do. She even buys me and my children things sometimes and tells me to make sure I keep it forever lol

In my experience my mom would buy my kids wayyyy too many toys. They would play with for a day and then months later the toys would just sit around. I would show my mom the toys that my kids chose to declutter ( I would help my kids go through their stuff) I would either take a picture or show her that the kids in the long run don’t play with most of the things she gets. I told her to be more intentional in choosing her gifts. That helped her understand a lot. It took a few years for her to get it lol good luck!

Those types of sandals were originally called thongs until thong underwear became popular and "flip-flop" became the popular name for the sandal instead. Thongs are bad foe your feet anyway as they force you to grip best to find a sandal with straps
