Will have to say this is a new one. Never seen anything like it. That being said...I suspect fish haven't seen many either. Might have to tie a few up and try on bedding bluegill and shellcracker next spring. I bet they will kill this thing. Great job and very interesting pattern. I will be tieing it on a 1/64 jig head.
True! A little tricky to get the right diameter of mono to get the size you want but once you've got a few different sizes its a pretty smooth operation
Off topic: in bass fishing there's a jig called a "scrounger". It has a vertical flap behind or collard around the head. Its made of thick vinyl. Anyone seen any hair jigs or flies like that? It works like a combination between a crankbait and chatter bait. Just figured it might be worth a try, Jr. Keep up the great work!
Nice fly but I think I could tie 3 to your 1 I watched the whole video because I am 68 and been tying for 40 years and this was a good video but very long for such a simple fly
Thanks for taking time to watch! All of my videos are longer, I tend to babble but also like to be detailed about things. Trying to do the opposite of shorts for people who are looking for more detail. 10 minutes is actually pretty short for this channel! lol I do occasionally upload a fast forwarded video with a normal length one, so find those, youll love em!
I believe you are going to have fun with that type of fly. Be blessed. My friend.
I hope so!

Glad you like it! I agree, not many fish have probly seen it so strike while the irons hot!
That’s how I make eyes as well.

@@juniorsfishingcompany imagine an upsidedown Crankbait. But with a clear weed guard.
Very nice. Subbed.
Thanks and welcome! lots more to come!
Just when you think a jig couldn't be improved.
Thanks Bob! Gotta hope the fish like it!
