@@beswiftly is cold where you are? That was the reason for low boost in my case? Much colder air makes it denser so the engine can make the same power with less boost

Kinda drives me nuts. Not sure why they’re more aggressive on my car than others but it is what it is
@ that is what they did. They took the F series maps and then tweaked it on the dyno with their N55 e series test car, and then have continued to make updates with more data they have gathered from other users. So if you have a log of your car on the new maps send them an email so they can take a look at them. That is apparently holding them up from erasing the “beta” title and calling them finished maps.
So, the limited flexibility means you only can flash 1 specific Stage at the same time? But you can use the power reduction to limit boost to obtain sort of a lower Stage (with regard to the power level). Is this also how it works for let's say a N54 or B58?
@@Dutch79 yes only one power stage at a time but the 60% power map feels slower than stock so I guess using it would be similar to making a lower stage map. For other platforms I can only assume that it would be the same but can’t confirm because I have no experience with them

@@therealkoro-sensei4920 I know that there was an SIB for throttle lag, idle fluctuations, and lurching for the N55 DCT 1 series. Not sure if that applied to all N55 DCT cars or if it was only 135i/is. I’m wondering if sport mode makes it go away because of the throttle being more touchy, so you’re essentially giving it more throttle and keeping it from stalling. Not sure though :/
