Absynth is my favourite synth ever. It created in me so much emotion and happiness, it made me see a different version of the world I'm currently in! For anybody that love sounds related a lot to Nature, Dark, Mystical, New Age, Rainy, Landscape and Around the World, Absynth is the perfect software for that! Brian I owe you everything, you are the best and NI made a huge mistake removing Absynth from their product line I hope they know that!!
My fave soft synth ever too. I found a new synth by the guy who invented Absynth. It's not the same but very similar. It's called Plasmonic. Look it up, you may be pleasantly suprised - like I was!
I still can not believe it's discontinued. I am finding it really hard to deal with. I know, I am an idiot. But, how can something like this be replaced?
@@eren3390 It is still working on Windows 11 just fine, but not on Apple native which is what I use for actual music production. Not going to run my DAW in rosetta mode for one plugin. But I tell you want, for atmospheres, I don't think there's a better synth. Each sound can tell its own story in Absynth. Really special, even though it's very digital sounding, it just works sonically speaking.
@@teddym2808 absynth is definitely unique, it’s way different than most other soft synths. i also use an m1 mac, never bought absynth, sad thing. hopefully they will release version 6, i am optimistic.
This is a type of synth that if you want to create haunting sounds or interesting sounds for a breakdown, this is the type of synth you want. When you start to learn how to create your own sounds instead of using the presets, it will open a whole new dimension to what you can achieve.
