Haha, we quit 20 years ago and we still have that train of thought that you have about spending NOT on smokes . Beautiful plants Liz , good on you 😄😄😄🥶
You are too funny! I quit smoking 12 weeks ago and succulents have become my new “habit” and favorite pastime. Such good therapy. I love getting the fresh air and being outside with the plants. I also adore your collection. Thanks for your videos! -Michelle
Hey Liz, I was inspired by your Bliss visit last week and I took a trip up the mountain to visit and buy a whale fin sanseveria too. I’ve been wanting a decent sized one for ages. I potted it in an expensive talavera pot that I bought from the shop behind Bliss. It looks awesome and makes me happy! So thanks.
AHA!!! So you're the one they were telling me that someone from down the coast rang up and is after the whale fin. They have now sold out. Thanks to us....LOL I still have to find the perfect pot and spot for mine.
Ohh boy...tell me about the cig spending...i did the same Miss Liz...I quit like three years ago and now with this hobby of ours I'ma gonna get a second job to spend it just in plants...I dont regret even when I am spending wayyy more in plants..take care Liz!! We are braves💪💪💪
Superb Liz!! Each one of your babies is exotic!!. Nice that you highlighted the difference between Satin and Ann ( similar to the cheetah and leopard). Keep going....or should I say, keep growing!!!
The only plants I can grow indoors are the sanseveria.. I have a green thumb but not for indoor plants.kill them all…love to see what soil you use?.. love the plant haul..❤️
Here in the Philippines, to achieve the yellow variegation of E. Chroma, what we usually do is we put them in the sunny area (mine is on the roof) and withhold the wattering for long period. Anyway, love your red aloe ❤️. Hoping that we could also achieve that color here.
Romeo is a mutation and can have different looks. From light color to dark pink color. Video below is from Johnny A. Might shed some light to your query. Echeveria agavoides Collection - Romeo and its Relatives Watering and Care - ua-cam.com/video/jYwatjOES-g/v-deo.html
I love that stressed red aloe. Do you hold off from watering your aloe? I have a large one similar to yours that's in full sun, but it doesn't change color. I do water my succulents every two weeks during the spring and summer, so maybe it's not stressed enough.
I love you and your videos, Liz! So glad I happened upon you. Could you tell me where do you get the rock top dressing that you use? I’m having a hard time finding anything like it. Thank you.
My budgie is weird. He hates lettuce. He had his own plants to feed on indoors but he just loves attacking anything I touch. Maybe his way of helping out.
That aloe at the start looks amazing. My local nursery has those but they're labelled just "aloe aculeata". They're blue and much smaller then the one you have. Is it just the white thorn variety that turns orange?
Both of them do if planted in pots and exposed to direct sunlight. But once they're planted in the garden with a lot of soil, they'll revert back to its blue green color.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK its actually not a philodendron at all. Its a scindapsis pictis. Ppl call it philodendron the same way everyone calls elephant bush a jade plant.
I wonder why your Dark Vader is not dark. The ones we have here in the Philippines have intense dark colors. Our chroma here in the Motherland acquire horizontal orange stripes when exposed to the sun. Someone said it was actually bleaching and not variegation. I think so because my chromas lost their orange color when the monsoon season started.
I haven't even known about them till now. Beautiful plant. Check with Bliss Nursery at Pialligo. If they haven't got it, ask them if they can order it for you.

Have to somehow justify the succulent spending. LOL

Yes we are indeed. At least with succulents, we have the chance to grow and sell to recoup some of the money spent...and buy some more...LOL
Love your collection 👍

Good evening from Oz. Thanks for watching.
Lovely collection Liz.
Thanks for watching.
Hellofrom Belgium 👋 E. Machete? I see a xPachyveria clavifolia 🤔🙄😅🙆♀️ thank you Liz for your videos 👌🥰😘
Clavata sorry 😅
My clavata have thinner leaves compared to this one. I believe that this is a new cultivar. Just have to wait for the flower to open up.
OK perhaps! 😊 So... Patience 😁👍
Ang ganda ganda naman

My chroma one is growing in a very sunny area. I think it's too sunny. Need to find out if Chroma two grown in the shade will color up.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK looking forward for the updates ❤️☺️
Another beautiful video! I hope you’ll invest in a great camera someday so we can see your plants in high resolution 🥰
Working on it! Thanks for watching.
Lindas suas plantas!!
Nice haul!!! Identifying succulents is the biggest problem for me. I have a whole heap of "Romeos" that ı dont think actually are.

@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thanks so much Liz, İve seen that, I will watch again, see if I can suss it out.
You are a beautiful person ms liz! Inspirasyon po kita sa succulents 😍💯 you're very natural! Sayang we are so far from each other. Pinas ako hahaha!
Maraming salamat po for watching Angela. Sana maging useful and aking mga videos.

This Aloe is grown in full sun and gets a lot of watering. I haven't fertilized the soil/pot for a couple of years so maybe that's the trick.
I love you and your videos, Liz! So glad I happened upon you. Could you tell me where do you get the rock top dressing that you use? I’m having a hard time finding anything like it. Thank you.
It's called decomposed granite and can be found in Garden Landscaping Suppliers. Similar product can be found online and is called Maifan Stone.
Hello Liz! Maybe you could plant some lettuce for Mr. Budgie. I love your videos
My budgie is weird. He hates lettuce. He had his own plants to feed on indoors but he just loves attacking anything I touch. Maybe his way of helping out.
Amazing video❤❤
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Hi Liz, I love watching you. just wondering where you are in Australia!
I'm in Canberra Maxine. Thanks for watching.

I was told if the leaf has silver on the vein parts then its silvery Ann. But I don't know for sure??
Thanks Bobbie. The one I have might even be a Silver satin Philodendron. It's doing my head in.

Most of the Dark Vader we get here in OZ are that color. Maybe when they mature they'll darken up or maybe if they're grown in the shade.
Hi lizk. Can I echeveria pink champagne be propagate from leaves.
I haven't had a chance yet Michèle . The leaves are too compact for me to even remove.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK I am trying but no bump as at present. Still waiting.
Hi Liz I am in Canberra are you able to advise where I can get a Dwarf Samurai sansevieria. Thank you
I haven't even known about them till now. Beautiful plant. Check with Bliss Nursery at Pialligo. If they haven't got it, ask them if they can order it for you.
@@GrowingSucculentswithLizK thank you
Which succulent can't be propagate from leaves?
A lot of Aeoniums and some Echeveria.
❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
My Chroma just rotted……. Sooooooo bummed 😥
Sorry to hear that Tina. When you get another one, make sure to remove a couple of the bottom leaves for security. They strike really well.
Mine also has rotten. 😓
