Liz, I’ve had my red dragon since 4/23 and she still has not rooted. She is in akadama bonsai soil. I’ll be interested to see if yours is slow to root.
If it had nodes where the leaves were that is where the roots will come from. Most succulents will root within 2 weeks, but some take a little longer. Give it a little more time. It may be dormant. I had to bring my aeonium punk witch inside to see if it would root faster because the temperature outside probably had it go dormant.
Mine took a couple of months to root as a cutting. I bought it and went prospecting. When I came back in Spring, 8 weeks later, it had small roots.
I find that Aeonium roots faster planter straight into the soil and placed in an area with bright/protected from direct sun.
Wait is the red dragon in the video an aeonimum? (ms) I thought it was an echeveria?
