I did these mountains maybe 20 years ago. Your beautiful video brought memories flooding back as I had an almost identical day! We (my wife and I) had a cloud inversion and lots of rolling cloud through the day. Thank you for giving me wonderful memories of these lovely mountains.
Hi James, Glad to eventually got a good look around these two as the views are stunning. Well done and the three figures are getting closer. Cheers, Charlie.
Hi James, thanks for a beautifully filmed video. Just first rate. Haven’t been to Scotland since my great hiking partner and brother passed away. We had some great trips. Maybe I’ll get over again. You’ve done very well to get near one hundred. Happy trails in completing the Munros.
You are quite right James about the drifting cloud days having more about them than the pure blue skies but they're both very nice. This day looks great. You are also right about the horseshoe from the south, longer but a great circuit. Alternatively you could bike from Inchnadamh to the southern start and walk over the hills to your vehicle.
Conival seems to have some good pitching opportunity up top too- I was expecting it to be much more rocky based on the OS aerial map but that's surprising (and a good surprise at that.)
Closing in on 100! Nice one James. I was very confused as well with the 2 summits at Ben more and the other looks higher no matter what one you are on. If in the area again I do recommend Stac Pollaidh and Suilven. Both magnificent! I much preferred these walks over the 2 Munros.
Cheers Andrew, it was confusing - better to be safe and go to both 😂 yeah will definitely be doing stac pillaidh/suilven in the future, they even look better than than the Munros do.. thats sometimes the problem with munro bagging 😂 Atb, James
Another gr8 vid mate👍🏻! Been a while since I saw those 2 Munro’s! I remember it being boggy at the bottom! Canna believe the midges are still out in force 🙈😂! Hope they’ve booked holidays in 2 weeks time coz that’s when I’m heading west 😎😂

You lucked out again with the weather! Enjoyed the detail you showed as we've still to do those two. Not long to 💯!!
Getting too lucky with weather recently 😂 thank you - enjoy when you do them 😁

Yes, almost adds to the atmosphere 😁 I will maybe try the horseshoe route another time, always great to have different options.

Great video! I'll be going for photography on this one in October- great reference video for some views! :D

Cheers Steve, it was hellish boggy at the bottom, midges have been wicked this year 🪰 😂 surely they will be gone by then 🤞🏼
Did these two on a 30 deg heat day! Found the loose stone murder to walk in! Took me 8.5ish hours to do but i got it done haha!
That would be hard going in the heat! It was a bit of a nightmare to walk in, takes longer than expected.. great day though 😁

Not done those 2 looking great 👍
They are great mountains 😁 Enjoy when you do them,
Atb, James
Well done again! Beautiful views of it all. Any idea how many miles/kilometers you've done over the 92 munroes?
Thanks Anthony 😁 it was a great walk, not 100% sure but I think it must be around 300-400 miles, will total it up one day 😂
Atb, James
@@ScottishMunroJourney Wow, that's a long walk! Well done mate
