Currently binging your videos after a friend recommended your channel. As someone who lives in Brighton, I've only done a couple of munros since beginning Uni in Stirling and these 2 were my 3rd and 4th - have to say they look almost unrecognisable when not covered in deep snow!!
Well done hiking video! Stunning views along the trail & from the summit! The scramble was definitely worth it! Really neat to see the huge herd of deer too. Thank you for sharing your experience & this part of the world with us. 👍
Well done James. Lovely video. These were some of the first ones I did. I’ve also done Stuc a’Chroin from the Callander side, never met a soul until I got to the top. So much nicer but longer walk.
Thanks for watching Fraser, would be great from that side, always better when there is less people around 😂 not so used to the busier hills yet, Atb, James
All Munros can be challenging under the wrong conditions so always take care - Ben Vorlich is great for beginners, but Stuc A’Chroin is more difficult if attempting the steeper scramble. Stay safe and enjoy the mountains 😁🏔 James
Definitely learned that the hard way. These were my second outing ever on the hills caught the bug with Ben Lomond then the next week went and done these 2 in early March this year. Didn’t have any clue about maps or routes or anything and just showed up and done it in winter conditions was a shambles 😂😂😂. Sliding about ice and snow in trainers. Learned a lot since then and have since got ViewRanger and always have look at routes before hand now 😂.
Nice one James.I was going to ask if it was still a bog fest on way down but i guess it was! These were number 3 and 4 for me so got these ticked off early doors. Closing in on your 100th!
Cheers Andrew! Yes a bit of a bogfest, but not as bad as i was expecting 😂 ah nice one, getting there but the bad weather is slowing things down a bit 😂
I did these last year. I was there twice actually as the first time it was in early spring and Stuc A'Chroin was covered in snow. Looking at it from Ben Vorlich I found it bit too steep with the snow around so I came back for it in summer conditions few months later.
Great video! There’s also two cairns at the top of Ben vorlich too, from the trig you need to walk in the opposite direction you would go for SaC….. not sure which is highest though
Word of warning. I am now 71 years old. I once climbed this 42 years ago. When I left or was clear and sunny , with a little snow on the top.No need for ice or crampons. What a mistake that was. I got to the last 250 m from the top . The diagonal bit when it turned to sheer ice. What do I do .? Go on or fall 500 Ft . Made the decision to finish it , that was soo scary . Don’t be stupid take every precaution you can . These hills are killers if you let them .
Loved both of them although the route back skirting around Ben Vorlich was "interesting" 😂.. Quick question, where did you get your walking trousers 😁? Another great video 👏👏
How difficult is the hike? I’m wanting to go with a group of people, but it would be good to know the difficulty level beforehand. Just for difficulty comparison, I’ve done Ben Venue in 2020 and Ben Lomond in 2015. So I haven’t been to hiking in a while - although I did do Ben A’an last year.
Its not too difficult Benjamin, Ben Vorlich is really straightforward - Stuc A’Chroin was a bit more difficult if going up the scramble, but there is a path to the right hand side that avoids any difficulty! Im sure you will be fine, not done any of the ones you mentioned so cant compare them. Enjoy! Atb, James
Great video, some really good shots in there - what camera and editing software are you using? I have just released a new video would appreciate if you could check it out and leave any feedback. Keep up the good work! I’ll make sure to subscribe 😊
Quite the drive to get out there, but seems like it's worth it. Thanks again for sharing, and wonderful editing again by the master! Cheers mate
Probably the one of the furthest drives I will have to do for the Munros 😁 thanks for watching again mate,

Remember doing these at the start of my wee journey and losing my way up Stuc a chroin. Bit of a bog fest going back if I remember! Cheers James. Paul
There were so many different ways up Stuc A’Chroin Paul, I lost the path a few times! Yes it was rather boggy on the way back,

Can imagine Stuc A’Chroin would be pretty difficult in the snow ❄️😁
Nice one James. Your fairly battering thru the Munros. And getting famous anaw 😉
Cheers Kev, getting there slowly😁 haha aye mate, be doing signatures next 😂
Great video brother

Awesome! What equipment do you use?
Thank you, I use a Sony A7iii, with a gopro hero 7.. I did have an Insta360 Twin edition for this video but have since got rid of it 😁 Cheers, James
Good day for it, done them a few years ago, maybe you should make the schiehallion your 100 munro not far from those 2 although it's very popular 😁👍
Cheers Billy, might be Schiehallion! Im a bit of a good weather chaser so depends whats good on the day 😂

Another great video 👏👏
Thanks for watching Anthony, rather boggy in the return 😆.. they are Revolution Race GP Pro trousers, they have been great so far!

Where was your starting point and route? I was going to go via Loch Sloy however yours looks different.
Aye, different Ben Vorlich. There's a few of them I think.
Yeah there is a few Ben Vorlichs, started this one from Loch Earn 😁👍
Oh yeah so there is, lol !!😁
