- just recently realised how perfect Dan and Blair are for each other; and how toxic her and chuck are. i know not everyone thinks to, so let's respect each others opinions - and feel free to tell me your opinion in the comments!! please just don't dislike cause you don't like dan and blair
I used to love Chuck and Blair the first time I watched the series, but now, a couple of years later, I realise that Chuck literally selling Blair to get his hotel back is unforgivable. They were toxic together, and Dan, albeit his background, had much more in common with Blair than Chuck ever did. All Blair and Chuck shared was high school drama, and sooner or later we all have to grow up

I shipped Chuck and Blair in the earlier seasons but I couldn’t love them the same after the hotel incident. Dan and Blair were the most pure and least toxic ship in the show.

I shipped Chair hardcore up until the moment he sold her for a damn hotel. Then I was in denial for a few episodes, clinging to the hopes that the ship I loved could somehow magically be fixed... it was when she told Nate about what happened that I realized I couldn't go back to shipping them as if nothing had happened. And then we get to season 4 and you have him try to punch Blair in the face when she tells him about her engagement?? I don't care what bullshit excuses the writers and actors and fans came up with - the fact is, if Blair hadn't jerked out of the way, he WOULD HAVE PUNCHED HER IN THE FACE! Even if he WAS aiming for the glass, what gives him the right to react with violent aggression like that? He's the one that mistreated her, slept with Jenny and lied about it, tried to make her life hell once he came back in season 4... it's so baffling to me that only do people still ship them, but the writers chose to glorify such an abusive, toxic relationship and pretend like they're such couple goals.
xoheartinohioxo EXACTLY! Well spoken. I get why people admire the love between Chuck and Blair, but the way they show each other love ..... messed up. I hate seeing all those “I want a chuck bass in my life 🥺🥺” - no you do not!!

YES. Dan wouldn't even THINK of laying a finger on her. Gossip girl hurt Serena so many times and Dan was unbothered. As soon as gossip girl REALLY hurt Blair he shut it down. They were meant to be.
awhhhh, blair and dan were perfect for each other!!! i aLWAYS thought it was so ironic they disliked each other so much when in reality they had so many things and common and when their storyline finally kicked in i was sooooo happy!! they were so domestic and cute, they were the perfect match for something lasting and stable but they didn't end up together so :((

their “breakup” was utterly ridiculous. remember the first time dan let go of blair for her to be happy with chuck. or blair falling out of chuck and falling in love with dan? dan was her pure, simple, right love :(. this edit was beautiful
right chair fans forget at one point in season 5 she chose dan over chuck. There was a scene where chuck told blair they could be together again and she chose to go back to dans house and be with him. She didn’t choose him in the end but she didn’t ALWAYS pick chuck over dan.
Dan and Blair have always been one of my fav ships, still salty about how dirty the writers did them from 3 seasons of development to nothing lol but they will always be my endgame

I'm so happy after all these years ppl are finally realizing how perfect dan and blair were for each other :') i've always shipped them, from the very beginning. also this is so beautifully made. absolutely loved this!
Dan and Blair are perfect for each other because they are soulmates. They fit like glove and hand and are an example and inspration of beautiful and pure love. They lift each other up, the challenge each other to grow personally and professionally, they want to make each other happy. Gossip Girl writers robbed us from a beautiful story since at least the end of Season 2. Blair and Dan should have been always together. When I watched for the first time I used to be a Derena fan, but more I watched and read pther stories , more I realize that Dan and Blair were made for each other. I hate that Gossip Girl portrayed Blair as the villain, while she was the victim of her friends betrayal (Nate and Serena) or abuse and manipulation (Chuck). Thank you for this beautiful video.

I guess this is the only relationship that I could smile to in Gossip Girl when they are together or when they are alone with each other because I don't know, their relationship is more realistic and chill. Not like with Blair and Chuck or Nate and Serena or even Dan and Serena. Almost all of the relationships in the series were a total disaster because there was always a motive and a frustratingly sad and hurtful ending is bound to happened. Blair wanted to have a simple and pure love, and Dan was there to give it. Dan was also able to let himself show his best side when he's with Blair. I just can't seem to see why Chuck and Blair ended together BUT not that I am totally against it though😅😂 Believe me, I also shipped Chuck and Blair during season 1 but Blair was always hurt with Chuck, and seeing her happy and not being stressed over stuff and also not meddling and interfering someone while with Dan was refreshing to see.
They shouldn't make a gossip girl reboot. They should make a "After Gossip Girl" have them all come back and make Dair happen. I don't care how they do it. They just have to.
They are like Another version of lily and rufus they was so perfect for each other expect for background they have lots common & real connection she even say that to serena in season 4 epi 19 anyway I was sooo upset actually disappointed when writers of gossip girl decided ended this beautiful pure relationship between them

ahhh I don’t know how to articulate my thoughts clearly, but I do know that this is my favorite, favorite dair video! you did so well!!!! I can’t believe we missed out on what dair could’ve been after the end, it’s such a wonderful relationship that the writers decided to ruin. from bad news blair, these two have always had chemistry and they grew to appreciate each other and learned how to let go and love one another. you made me want to rewatch gg again just for them!

I am a chuck&blair fan, but I always enjoy their videos for some reason. This was actually the best dan&blair video I have ever watched. The flow, the scene selection, the aesthetic. I am stunned, seriously. You always add this personal touch of yours in your videos that make them so unique and I can't explain it. About these two, I loved what they had even if I was always rooting for her and chuck. They had such a profound bond. I was really mad that in season 6, before her wedding, blair underestimated what they had so much and made it look like he was just the rebound guy. We all know that what they had was so much deeper than that.

There are so many reasons why nobody should be shipping Blair and dan but the biggest one of all is dan destroyed chuck and Blair’s relationship on purpose! He was really jealous of chuck and Blair I mean wtf. Blair is nice to Dan and dan just falls in love?!!! He wanted Blair all to himself and didn’t care about anyone else’s opinion. Their relationship wasn’t smooth at all. Periodt.

@@bxbxb1_554 Yea a lot of ppl love them, but I find Chair to be toxic and borderline abusive. Dair on the other hand was much healthier for the two of them and intensified the best traits of both of them. Dan wasn't perfect but he made for a better boyfriend than Chuck.
