The thing about Joe is that he’s dependable (unlike Zion), and he whole heartedly fell for Georgia without a “second agenda” (unlike Paul who although loves Georgia, their relationship is a win-win agreement where he gets good publicity out of their marriage). Joe is the guy that Georgia and the kids need. No judgement, committed, safe.

I feel like G and P wanted the same thing: power, but very different people from different worlds. G and Z are from different worlds and wanted different things: she wanted stability but he wanted adventure. Hopefully G and J shares some similarities. It seems like J is/was a bit of a scam more that what he showed in season 1.

Georgia likes the idea of Paul, there’s really no chemistry there even though he’s good with Ginny & Austin. I think in season 3 he’ll either get killed off by Gil or he’ll have a villain arc and he will be the one behind Georgia getting arrested. If the latter happens I could see Georgia & Paul being like a Blair & Louis from gossip girl. Where Louis & Paul seem perfect and charming and have the dream rich fantasy life but once they marry Blair & Georgia their true colors show and they are actually villains
Georgia is Lorelai and Zion is her Christopher, Paul is her Max Medina, and Joe is her Luke.
I love how all 3 of Georgia's love interests are actually good guys. And I feel like Zion is her past, Paul is her present and Joe's going to be future (and kind of full circle to her past).
I think paul is too serious(personality wise), Joe is more of a friend than boyfriend and I think zion would be the best choice he's known Georgia the longest and they had great chemistry together...but Georgia hurts every man that comes into her life and pushed zion away

In my honest opinion, she has feelings for him, and she wants to be with him too. The thing with Georgia, is that she goes for the guys she think can provide the most security. Having a mayor in your lap provides much more stability and resources than a restaurant owner and farmer. She has the power to alter a whole town, and because she’s working, I’m assuming she’s also getting paid, while also probably getting financial help from Paul. She puts her kids first, she’ll give them the life she thinks will give them more cushion and comfort, even if she had feelings for someone else.
Totally agree. I think also because Georgia came from such an unstable beginning in her life and went thru a lot of trauma that having the stability Paul offers feels really important to her even if she has suppressed feelings for Joe.

Not sure if she has intimate feelings for Joe, but definitely she tried to give him hints about their past connection many times in season 1.

"Don't cry over split condiments" that was it for Georgia and him naming his horse Milkshake sealed it she remembered him but still kept it to herself knowing she's bad news for him that's how much she cares bout him and loves him. She will always protect those dearest to her at the cost of of her own happiness that's Georgia for you.

Bummed they barely showed Joe in season 2. I'm hoping he finally gets his time to shine in season 3 and she tells him everything. i know Joe is the one that will accept her (truly) for everything she's done. Like she said, he doesn't judge her and he also has a past of "cons" so it's a perfect fit to me. And if this is modeled after Gilmore Girls, they are definitely endgame.

7:48 when Joe asks her if she ever thought about them together she doesn’t even really answer, which is so unfair to him. Joe deserves so much better
But she does answer the question. By saying “there’s nothing I didn’t think of,” means that she did think of it

Georgia intentionally did not answer his question directly. She avoided giving him hope.
She clearly just never liked him in that way and therefore didn’t give him any false hope. Joe honestly just needs to get over her sadly

Paul is ok but I think he's becoming too serious and controlling , Joe is more of a friend than boyfriend I think she should've got back with zion there chemistry was great and he's known her the longest...he's a good guy but she broke his heart and probably gonna break Pauls next
sceso tagging him on and basically using his feelings for her to just have a safety net when everyone else goes away and seeing as though she got arrested at the end of season 2 I see that happening.

All the men in her life apart from Gil are honestly good people. Joe is kind, Zion is calm and Paul has her back from the beginning. With Georgia I honestly don't know who she actually love and want to be with is it Paul or is it Joe?

@@midnightblackheart1821 Paul is a great guy very stable and a good figure for her children. Joe on the other hand, is something like a safe place for Georgia and Ginny trusts him as well. The fact that she knew about who he is and she never said anything was annoying and what I don't get is why she kept the glasses, moved to Welsbury (in the first season Joe junior spoke about Welsbury) if she has no feelings for him.

I feel joe is her true happiness! With him she had a moment where she could be happy if nothing else because of a sandwich and some glasses . But now as a adult shes worried about that because she's literally have to fight and scam for things and joe offers something easy with no tricks needed no violence needed. And a little part of her can't believe it . And it ain't like he's poor or anything so he honestly could give her and her daughter a good life if only she would let her guard down

Aside from Ginny, Joe could be Georgia’s safe space. 😢 That scene where they were alone at the Blue Farm, it’s one of the most serene parts of the show.
I believe all the three guys in Georgia's life are genuinely good and cares about G and the kids BUT Joe is the love of her life.

This was so beautifully put together so good I watched Raymond ablack since he was on Degrassi I'm 23 but I would watch the Degrassi as a 5 year old barley on the last season for that show anyway seeing him on here as Joe now he's an incredible actor and I feel like she knows he's too good for her and that's why she won't let him in completely because she doesn't want to ruin him kind of like how on Forrest Gump how Forest is sweet and innocent and too good and Jenny didn't want to ruin him even though she was in love with him I feel the same goes for Joe and Georgia

I think she does care , I think she is vulnerable around him and that scares her a bit .. the feeling of loving whole heartedly is a state where u can be hurt its frightening for someone who is still in a traumatic state of mind . I get her even … I bet she thinksss about him and is greatfull for meeting him again . Give her some time …. She needs just a little bit more confidence, she needs to feel on ease
It's like I ship them, but at the same time, Joe deserves better. They did him so wrong this season, I really wish he was in more scenes and we got maybe a little more backstory on him

Georgia has always loved Joe. She moved to Wellsbury because of her experience with Joe as teens. Georgia and Joe don’t have Real Life timing. Georgia didn’t think Joe even remembered her but their chance encounter meant more than they both realized. Georgia actually met Paul before she was introduced to Joe again. Paul made a play, Joe didn’t. Joe even loves Ginny due to his love for Georgia.
Joe said "Do you have feelings for me" and Georgia answered with "I'm getting married." She didn't say "no" or deny her feelings. She clearly has feelings for him, she just doesn't want to hurt him. He's such a sweet guy and she doesn't want someone as sweet as him knowing who she truly is.

Wish she could settle for pure happiness than a dream. (Edit: She kept those sunglasses for a reason. One could argue that it was cuz it was the first present she may have gotten. My feelings are so mixed up about them as a couple, I truly love them together, I'm sure Joe can be exactly what Georgia needs, he can make her happy and I think she really deserves every ounce of happiness. But Joe is literally too good (maybe even not just for Georgia but for everyone), and though I love Georgia with my whole heart, I'm sure she will hurt him sooner or later, but I believe that they will end up together and all the potential hurt that may be in their relationship will make them stronger

Joe is the 1st reason why Georgia choose to live in wellsbury.. Joe also a stable man, she knew that he’s rich from the beginning he gave his rayban to her and also told him she’ll go to wellsbury..but then she chose paul as a partner, yeah she loves him i mean paul is so lovable and so understanding and it’s clear that because of her past,she really needs a power and she can only get that to paul.. also she is such a controller, she can rule when she’s w/ paul lol and personally as an adult now, i agree with George LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH!

Zion is great but is definitely wrapped up in his own world, but he’s a good dad at least he seems to be.
