Basically, this means the team was losing by a lot at one point in the game but nearly ended up coming back winning the game. Man I gotta say when you come back down 35 and score a crazy lateral TD on the last play of the game, I'd say you have the momentum and kick the PAT and go to OT. Unless your don't trust your kicker or do trust your 2 point conversion plan. But I would expect you to win in OT 2/3rds of the time, so unless the difference between 1point and 2point is that small, I'd go to OT
Ok that Ohio state vs Indiana one was actually kinda sad, they came so close
Another idea: Clemson at South Carolina 2015. South Carolina was down by about 3 scores, came back within 3 but then Clemson scored and then SC scored and the final score was within 5 points.

Yea there are so many in 2014 and 2015 for some reason lol. I guess it’s just because they were both great seasons.
For part 3: October 13, 2012; #22 Texas A&M vs #23 Louisiana Tech. Texas A&M lead 27-0, 34-7 and then La Tech second half was almost heroic and made the comeback but failed final 2 point conversion to tie the game.
BYU VS Coastal Carolina in 2020. Last play of the game, after a surgical performance by Wilson to go 84 yards in 55 seconds, BYU fell one foot short of the comeback. Of course, it was only one score after 4 strong defensive stands on both sides during the 4th quarter that saw only one score.
When I started seeing indiana coming back on Ohio state like they were I actually started cheering for them

Glad to see CMU/WKU made this video. My personal favorite almost comeback of all time. Down by five TDs going into the 4th and lost by one point, and would have won with a slightly better pass on the 2 pt attempt. I bet he still has nightmares about that pass attempt lol.
Doesn't hurt that I made some decent money on the spread with that game, everyone had given up on it but I kept watching and they came back to cover 😂

In your 3rd one, you should check out the whole 2015 Nebraska season. Atleast 7 of the games ended within like 6 points.

Texas A&M vs Auburn 2014 was great. A&M was just beat 59-0 by Bama and was on the road at #3 Auburn. A&M went up 35-17 at HT, Auburn made it 41-38 and fumbled twice late in the 4th to hold on for the upset
