Thank you sooo much for doing the interview. I have exact same symptoms but mine never started with a trip it was gradual from years of extreme stress. It was also one of my diagnosis..
I have pppd with MdDS symptoms. It's so hard to deal with it. I was better then everything came back after a big stressful period. I continue to do some exercice but now I will focus more on all the psychological side of it. Hope this time I will be better for good. Really happy for Andrea to make it ! After something like this we can say that we are warrior^^
I also have MDDS and taking medication. This is such an inspiring story, thank you for sharing!!! So glad Andrea healed! Can I ask which medications Andrea stopped taking when she found out she was pregnant ?
Thank you so much for this Andrea and Dr. Yo! This gives me so much hope and comfort. Such an inspiring story, truly amazing all the courage you have! Your daughter is so lucky to have such an amazing mom. I had a C section with my first child so hearing you did that as well and that everything was fine with that provides so much relief for me and the future! Thank you ❤
Thank you Dr. Yo and Andrea for this interview. This gives me so much hope to fully recover from this awful MdDS. I have recently been writing in my journal and have felt my symptoms increase a bit, but perhaps it's my bodies way of saying I need to keep with it and feel all the feels! Not sure where I'd be with out your videos and workbook. Whenever I have really bad days, I put on one of your videos and it makes me feel a bit better. Truly thankful I found you!
I am 5 weeks pregnant and noticed and uptick in my symptoms the last few weeks. Before I found out I was pregnant I felt very little sensations maybe once or twice a week. I truly thought it was nearly healed. 🥺
Well done Andrea!! My heart sings hearing this. I have pppd and mdds symptoms, and I find the mdds are harder to cope with. I can't imagine being pregnant with these symptoms, what a strong soul. Well done Dr Yonit.
My problem is that I can't believe it! I can't accept it! I'm 26 years old.. an engineer with many goals, ambitions... coming from Tunisia to Paris with a lot of dreams and after only one month, I was suffering from this.. but yeah this is the life!!!!
I have seen MANY, MANY immigrants deal with this issue- have you seen Anurag and Prasanna's stories? The stress and pressure of immigration takes a toll on your nervous system. ua-cam.com/play/PLFf7T0374CmC4e-krn3BzPvtd3ZwXcabj.html
@@TheSteadyCoach I was very happy, not stressed... but i had a horrible cold that caused headaches and dizziness for 5 or 6 days, i took some medication and then everything was fine... after 3 weeks, I slept and I woke up with strange symptoms... It was a very light imbalance and after 2 months, visual symptoms appeared...
Hang in there and try to relax. It’s a marathon not a sprint my friend. (I just went through this and working through it still.) in order to succeed we have to build in time to relax
Dr Yo, Have you had any other patients develop silent reflux. Right around the time my dizziness stress and anxiety put me in 24/7 panick i developed tmj headaches and globus sensation with mucus feeling
Hi I’m new to this all haven’t been officially dx with MDDs but have felt all the symptoms since April 24 but now my symptoms are 0-1 but I wanted to know with journaling can we journal on our phones or needs to be hand written? Also can I ask I notice when I go bare foot walking on the grass my head becomes really woozy when I finish walkin and it takes such a while after then for my brain to calm down from gravity pulls and Imbalance is that normal?
Journaling is best done by hand because it accesses a different part of the brain but it is ok to use phone/voice if needed! And yes bare feet affects your proprioception, a part of your balance system- you're just getting mroe stimulation than your brain is comfortable with, but this is not dangerous.
@@TheSteadyCoach ok I’ve been voice note journaling but I will hand write journaling also I wanted to know is eye therapy excercises/vestibular therapy beneficial to help or does it only train my brain to be in this constant state by doing these excercises everyday ? As well taking lexapro which my doctor gave me but I’m nervous to take it ?
Great question! They may not have been under stress and/or their nervous systems quickly regulated and didn’t think they were in ongoing danger. Lots of factors affect this.
Thank you for making this video.I have pppd symptoms since 2020 August post covid..I am 5 months pregnant..I have been anxious as to how to manage post pregnancy life the fear of dizziness coming up during surgery and post surgery..But this video has come timely.. Thank you..Just a question since i am also planning c section..Did Andrea had dizziness symptoms going to operation theatre and after that? If she would be comfortable answering it..If you could understand the fear is Making me anxious
She said she felt ok during the operation and afterward! She had an increase in symptoms (like we talked about in the video) from the hormonal changes after that but it was unrelated to the birth. And they went away.
Wow...this is so nice to watch. I totally understand that about needing to hear you can get better from a person that KNOWS what she is talking about. I AM getting better drom pppd because of these stories and dr Yonit. I totally trust ALL you are saying in these video's!!! I do!!! I just get stuck on some points (the eys stuff which i already asked a lot about), because there was 1!!!!!!!!!! doctor (optometrist) who made me confused & scared. I KNOW if i only would have seen your video on visual stuff, i would have been better now... Its just because this optometrist said: some people have to live with these delayed visual problems their whole live. They just have to get used to it. (this was a young optometrist by the way). And also, the fact that she wrote on a paper, after testing my eyes, that i HAD visual delay (processing) problems. I just cant seem to comprehand what is the problem with me. Is it enough to just trust that what you are saying in the video is the same and also enough...so just trust that its enough to know that its a processing problem (like you also mention in the video) and that i can also heal from this, the same way like i do for pppd? Or should i treat this like another real problem NEXT to pppd🙈 anyway....i WISH i did not meet this optometrist before....and only would have met you. I think i would have been better a long time ago. Hearing YOU say, you do this or that and than you will be fine...would have been enough...same like Andrea❤
Hi! My chronic dizziness started when I was 2 months postpartum. I am still recovering and would love to get in touch with Andrea if that is possible. Please let me know!

You can do this, Ana! I know Andrea would be more than happy to talk to you. If you send me an email info@thesteadycoach.com, I will ask her permission to send your email address to her. I am not taking one on one clients right now due to my waiting list but talk to Andrea- you may not need one on one help.
Hi Doctor, I just want to know that I have pppd but I can do everything except reading so should I start reading daily for practice or something else???
Exposing yourself to what is bringing on symptoms is a good idea, but also practicing calming your nervous system. I talk about that in many videos on my channel!
Hi Dr Yo, even though I'm pretty well recovered I still love to listen to your recovery story's they help bring me closure . One thing that came on with my Dizziness about 1 month in was Cubical tunnel syndrome. I haven't heard anyone ever talk about this symptom on your site and was wondering if you have seen other people with this condition start after the dizzy thing. I'm a carpenter by trade so arm problems are always going to happen but when it first happened it was scary not knowing what it was at first and definitely added to my stress levels. I'm Just interested about this as maybe a symptom. Thanks
Hey Eric! Chronic pain and other pesky symptoms VERY frequently show up with dizziness. I can't tell you for sure since I'm not your provider but I have seen people with all sorts of vague pain and other symptom syndromes that are totally part of the same nervous system hypervigilance. SO glad to hear you're feeling better! YEAH!

Hello Janice , sorry for my delayed answer , by now i can say that my symptoms have that 99% ended , that 1% left y believe it is a matter of Dayli life stress situations or probably my body’s reaction to changes like my period coming back and things that normally and indirectly stress our body.
