Humanity is so desperate to discover intelligent life other than themselves they're creating it themselves. It all comes down to unity.. something of this magnitude could bring humanity together but at a severe price.. A common enemy always brings people together.
I am pursuing my M.Tech in AI and am a researcher in the field of Deep Learning. I haven't commented on any youtube video ever but your video is so good and informative that I was compelled to do so. Your video is like a mass of knowledge in a nutshell, you have defined everything very clearly and precisely. GREAT JOB Ms.Whack( sorry i dont know ur name). As far as the possibility of terminator getting real is concerned I wud like to tell you that scientist know the pros and cons of this tech and are developing it accordingly.
As you mentioned in your video about the brain like computer with DeepMind Technologies , I wud like to add that the same company is also stressing and at points enforcing the concept of AI ethics. link below:

Plus Deep Learning is not just about making human like robots, its about making existing technologies better for eg. Hand Gesture Technology : Since there are a million different ways humans can depict one same hand gesture, it is better to have a computer which can understand hand gesture by itself.
It is also used in driver less cars,hand written text recognition and OCR, natural LAnguage processing, your google's voice command app and in Facebook's face recognition app which i am sure everyone has used. They aren't threatening .. are they !? ;)

The two reasons why I like this video is because it is very inspiring and detailed but, I disagree with technology becoming a major part of the future because it can be quite dangerous and scary. I don't like the idea of computers running and controlling everything that a human would do.

i m a AI programmer and working on artificial soldier and yes i know the risk what you are telling. sometimes i also fear about it because no matter how much well you program a computer someone one will find a way to crack or hack it.
a single virus can destroy everything.
last month my photo processing system got problem due malfunctioning of chipset and so it stopped recognizing me untill i fixed it if samething happens in battlefield than it could create big problems.
working in AI future seems darker but may humans will find a solution for it too.

I think its all Karma. Human beings dominated over and was directly or indirectly responsible for the endangerment and extinction of several species of plants and animals.
Now, AI might dominate over human beings. (and may even drive us to endangerment/extinction).

Really well done video. The only nitpick I would have is you interchanging 'Consciousness' with 'Conscience' at ua-cam.com/video/BVa7Zw02zAQ/v-deo.htmlm5s. Unless you consciously (pun intended) meant 'Conscience', which would be thrilling as well, since it would boil down to how the robot interprets your versions of right vs wrong, as opposed to the ones pre-programmed in them using Asimov's laws on robotics.

AI may be take over someday but as we say in India " beta baap ka baap nahe ban sakta " humans can learn more faster then machine and may be something happened in the future we will find way to shut down then tell then watch the videos and u keep making

You people think of AI destroying humanity but but I think that AI can give us what this mortal human body can't integration of humanity with Artificial Intelligence and Robotics can lead us to the Eutopia if we control it together I think without fearing the artificial intelligence we should try map our power and bind ourselves to certain basic rules of humanity and responsibilities as with great power comes great responsibility
