- I tried to get back on track in August and then the lulz happened. But I've also been diving into finally having an answer for why I behave the way I am and how that's affecting me losing weight. So things are gonna be messy for a while.

Karen, I am glad to see that you haven’t given up!! Keep going this is a life long journey. This journey is a marathon and not a sprint!! Keep up your goals!! I’m rooting for you!
I've believed I have ADHD since last fall and was finally diagnosed this week and it is a such a relief to understand WHY my brain doesn't work lot other people's brains. It was way easier to get diagnosed than I thought. I got a referral but didn't need one. I just made an appointment with behavior health and it was online and covered by my insurance.
Girl if you are certain you have it you do. You are making my cry. I understand 100 thousand percent.
I'm so glad to know it was an easy process for you. I had read it can be difficult, so I worried! And I'm happy you got that relief!
@@Karen_esque Yeah I wish I was brave enough to do it sooner! I'm on Ritalin now and it's life changing. Even my anxiety is a lot better.
Hey Karen, so glad to hear from you today. I wasn't diagnosed with Adult ADD until I was in my thirties as they really only recognized it in the hyperactive types back in my school days and I was not in any way hyperactive because I also had Central nervous system hypersomnia (kinda like narcolepsy without cataplexy) which rindered me too sleepy to be overactive or active at all so I fell thru the cracks and the struggle is real and yes Girl, get tested and treated it made so much difference.
I have Idiopathic Hypersomnia as well!
Wow! I hope everything is good for you now. Yeah, I grew up at a time no one would have noticed, as well. I’m only now learning symptoms in girls/women are different and I’m relating to all of them!
I was just diagnosed at 47. Life changing.
Oh man I small had Covid in august. It hit the house pretty hard. Glad you are still going! It is a lot easier when you have more control over your gym setting and have laid it what you need to do. Or getting the help from a trainer
Thank you! I was able to get structure which is making a huge difference. Now it's about figuring out the best schedule that won't make me quit. 🤣
I did whole 30 and it relieved my ADD symptoms cutting out whrat, dairy and sugar. It was life changing to me
And maybe it will be for you as well..
Covid twins! Sorry you got hit with the bug around the same time I did. I think September can be a new place to start for you! I'm cheering you on!
I’m not about the possibility of being positive for 20+ days, I’ll say that! 💕💕
🤞🤞hope you get the answer you want
You should switch to a plan that doesn't require a referral.... Even if you are on Medicaid since you're currently unemployed, many states have at least one plan that doesn't require referral 4 specialists
It was much easier for me to do weight training 3x a week when I took it as a required elective at Temple, LOL
Also- my kid has ADHD, and I can totally see it in you from just knowing you. You have to use it for good!
@@Jen-oo8ss i now wonder how many others can see it. I know my mom will dismiss it.😂 I can see how it’s been used for bad in my life, so I’m determined to use it for good!
@@Karen_esque Also, you can have a mixed type. Hyperactivity and innattentive.
Please try resistance bands before weights never get sore
I never said I’ve never used weights before. I have. And the program I do has me using 5 pound weights. I’m not lifting here.
Covid sucks. I'm so sorry.
It's all my mom's fault.🤣
@@Karen_esque I've had it twice. My smell is still messed up.
@@KetoChaos Oh no!! One of my friends had that issue! How long has that been?
@@Karen_esque 10 months
August was a terrible month for me. Oh no first time with COVID! I use weight training and strength training at the same time and don't really see the difference. I do weights at home and watch Kirsten Quickfit Videos. I have worked up from 5lb weights to now 12lb weights.
Ha ha Oh There is an Amber Alert!
12 lbs?? Heck yeah! I'll have to look those videos up! When I started the gym I quickly realized I need a plan/program. Not having one is gonna encourage me not to go so I'm trying to figure out what I want to do.
