  • Now you can produce self-weeding transfers in opaque, metallic and neon colours, without a special toner and without cutting and weeding! Read more: go.gjs.co/FOREVERFlexSoft
    The FOREVER Flex-Soft two-layer-system represents a cost-effective flex/vinyl alternative, without the need for investment in a dedicated printing system or cutter. Utilising your existing sheetfed A3/A4 laser/LED printer, the application is an easy to learn, fast, dry system. Which means no headaches with drying inks, humidity or changing weather conditions.
    Advantages:
    ― No Cutting and Weeding
    ― Low substrate application temperatures of 100-160°C (212°F-320°F)
    ―Printing of almost all fabrics & hard surfaces (Cotton, Blended―Fabrics, Polyester, Nylon, Polypropylene, Paper, Wood, etc.)
    ― For Black/White or CMYK Laser/LED Printers and Copiers
    ― Washable up to 40°C (104°F)
    ― Fine details and difficult graphics transferable without problems
    ― Huge time savings
    ― Unbelievable design and motive possibilities (vintage, used look, fashion, vectors)

    Can you do a multi color print? Could you in theory do color separation and get a full color print? Like you would for screen printing? This may save a lot of time for small numbers of prints...
    Also, I assume it doesn't work in a regular laser (I have a Brother)?
    Any info is greatly appreciated.

    • @GJSAustralia
      @GJSAustralia  4 роки тому +3

      Hi Leslie, this process works will work with most regular laser printers that have a straight-through path but not with photocopier style laser printers. We recommend laser/LED printers from OKI for the best results: gjs.co/supplies/s75/oki
      You can layer the artwork and use up to 5 colours on one garment but you wouldn’t be able to do separations printing as it would be almost impossible to align that perfectly.
      Hope this helps!

      The Teflon is removed from the base for best results as this can cause excess heat and if it is creased will affect the print. On the base of the heat press is has the silicone rubber, this comes as standard on all the heat presses that we sell. If the toner is not adhering to the foil, then your print settings are probably incorrect, I would recommend contacting your supplier of the media for their recommend printing instructions.

    Hi. Can one only use the OKI printer or any other laser printer? Also, is the fusing unit removed or not? Thanx

      Hi Ruan, Flex-Soft works with most laser printers but we would recommend the use of OKI. All laser printers require the fusing unit to fuse the toner to the media. Hope this helps!

    One issue: does the paper go into the printer shiny side up or shiny side down?

    How many washes does the shirt last?

    • @GJSAustralia
      @GJSAustralia  3 роки тому

      The longevity of the design will really all depend on your artwork and how you create it. FOREVER advise that you should be able to get between 20-45 washes from the product based on these variables.

    Why is it when I'm peeling from the shirt the letters are coming apart and it looks nothing like how the video shows the example?

      Hi there, sorry to hear about this, I would recommend ensuring that you are printing with the recommended settings for your printer and pressing with the correct methods as shown in the video. If you need further assistance, I would recommend contacting your supplier of Forever media for technical support.
