“Need a really big gun?” Actually while saying this, imagine if the Agressor was in Armada: absolute shit in the rear and on the sides, and 8-10 dice in the front lol
Great video! Been waiting for the liberty breakdown for a while as just getting into using them. Had a few thoughts, recently played against a star cruiser build with veteran gunners (instead of gunnery teams) as he said that he goes for double arcs as wants to do the most damage to a single target rather than 2. He also had X-I7s, SW-7s, XX-9s and Engine techs. And had Dodonna for his admiral. He got off XX-9s with Dodonna picking cries twice... it was horrible!!! I was tempted to try something similar but like what madine gives you for navigating. So I came up with Battle cruiser with gunnery Teams, Spinal, X-I7s, leading shots, engine techs and skilled 1st officer. I like the extra red on the battle cruiser as well as double black anti-squadron, especially in the world of Sloane, as double black can rip through tie fighters pretty quickly.
The Dodonna idea is fantastic. Great, Great, Breakdown! Was waiting for a long time for this one. That's why there's multiple comments, I was excited through the whole thing. I'm still going to try it with Sato, Not sure if I want to double Lib or team with Scouts, I was running late to league so had to use an old list Sato will be next week am I'll still post how it does.
I found this an informative video, even being distracted by the Snowbirds (RCAF demo team) practice above the house. Which would be a cool paint scheme for Headhunters.
This, so much this. He's Commander Leia as an officer version. Another fun combo is using Garm Bel Iblis with Ahsoka to give Liberty title all the squadron tokens it could need.
I haven't tried it yet, but I feel like Leia + Nav Team could work really well as a mini Madine for this ship. You're giving up Engine Techs, obviously, but Leia also boosts the CFs and repairs when you need them, and might work better for your other ships - I'm thinking a pack of Hammerheads/CR90s and an EHB transport pushing 4 A-wings or something. (That being said, I really wanna try Madine Hammerheads too. Madine is the best.)
Hello, I am new to the game and I have a question. This isn't about this particular ship but when a ship is referred to as a dedicated carrier, does it literally use some kind of "carry" mechanic or does it just have a high command value and uses that to maneuver squadrons?
A "Carrier" is generally just a ship that has a high squadron value, able to send out more squadron commands. A "Dedicated" carrier tends to mean a ship that is going to do squadron commands the whole game. Those ships also tend to have upgrades that enhance the squadrons they activate.
Have you never tried flying a AF2 with Expanded Hangar Bays and Antilles...? Really dont know what you are complaining about with this rebel carrier issue...Flight Controlles can affect up to 5 Rebel Squadrons this way!
Its really fault of the Empire and the Star Wars Universe that the Imperial Class SD is so ubiquitous. There is not a obvious and clear "next" large ship for Empire. Not in the way there is for the MC-75. Hopefully it will be the Ep 7 SD or a really great Trector model. Heck... maybe even a Imperial Dreadnought with a Katana ship card.
I dunno... if they are going that big they might as well do the SSD. And we all want that but I think it might move Armada out of being playable on a kitchen table. The Venator is really obvious too but now that the Quasar is out, the Empire hardly needs a new carrier ship.
The best combo for the turbolaser slots are H9 and Quad turbolaser cannons. Add Leading Shots with it and you basically get Spinal Armaments for every arc with the Quad upgrade. You also forgot to mention that this ship can go speed 4 if you add Engine Techs.
Yes 2 is good with the right list. Madine is amazing with Double Libs. I ran Double libs with Engineering teams and Leia for 8 repair points a turn ( was sick you can almost fully restore forward shield every turn.) Make sure to run at least a couple transports with them for fighter support and activations.
Jacob Schmidt ahhh i see just curious, what do the people in your area tend to run? The area i am in people tend to run lots of squadrons and msu(multiple small units)
IGILAA With the release of wave six, we have transfered to having more squadrons. Though occasionally one of us will run a fleet with tankier ships, and fewer squadrons

Perfect timing for me as I am testing out a list tonight with the Liberty and 4 Hammerheads.
Just ordered a Liberty and I'm really excited about it!

I really appreciate the videos! As a new player, I am always eager to hear about ships and strategies to employ them effectively.

I have been looking forward to this!
I actually flew this with Raymus and liberty now with Leia is very nice as a carrier. I pair it with Yavaris and two transports.
Raymus Antilles helps with the Liberty title.

I like to run the battle cruiser with mon Karren, intel officer, Sw-7, spinal, and xx-9.
Murphinator S, mon Karen would like to speak to your opponents manager

Ok thank you!
Cracken doesn't work with this at all, as he only affects small/medium ships.
All I have to say, as this is the only Rebel ship I don't own.
Dino Mate yup no crackin for the liberty
Doh! Nice catch - how did I miss that!
Leia with dual engineering team Libs is great
Have you never tried flying a AF2 with Expanded Hangar Bays and Antilles...? Really dont know what you are complaining about with this rebel carrier issue...Flight Controlles can affect up to 5 Rebel Squadrons this way!
Best ship for rebels maybe behind cr90

I think a Praetor Mk.2 would be the Next BIG SHIP, or a Vindicator for Medium ship.
I dunno... if they are going that big they might as well do the SSD. And we all want that but I think it might move Armada out of being playable on a kitchen table. The Venator is really obvious too but now that the Quasar is out, the Empire hardly needs a new carrier ship.
I have that exact case I originally got for xwing but now for armada

Engine Techs is very good for it you are right about that!
I love my Madine Liberties!
Crabbok, do you think running two of these is decent?
was thinking this too....with hammerheads inbetween and madine with last points on z95's
Myself I'm newer, and an imperial player. That being said from what I've seen yes, but I'd support it with hammer heads.
You can do it, but make sure you fly them in formation and do not split them.
Yes 2 is good with the right list. Madine is amazing with Double Libs. Hey in your opinion can this kill an isd outright?
IGILAA I've done it once. I think I had scratched its shields earlier, but I did blow up an ISD in a double arc.
Jacob Schmidt dam man thats sweet does this mean isd is abit absolete now?
IGILAA Not at all. I've never been able to One shot an ISD since. My gaming group still has ISDs all the time.
Jacob Schmidt ahhh i see just curious, what do the people in your area tend to run? The area i am in people tend to run lots of squadrons and msu(multiple small units)

I just got this ship
Helps me out
Do a video about ramming
Imo most susceptible ship in the game to bombers
yes
Yeaaaahhh Brick Dawn !¿¡!
