Good dialogue, videography and humor, the video had it all. Really enjoyed it
Thanks for the high praise and glad you liked it!
Excellent review! Love the videography and narration. I really need to get my hands on a CW soon, they look like incredible watches.
I'm glad you liked it!
Agreed. They are doing great things at the moment.
What a great review!! Love this!!
Glad you liked it!
Thank you for this amazing review.
I own the twelve and absolutely love it
Glad you liked it!
Great video and one of my favorite CW watches
Indeed an amazing watch!
CW has really stepped up lately. The past 2/3 years have hag great models. Definitely a consideration.
For sure. One of the hottest affordable brands at the moment
I don’t normally comment on videos but this was a fantastic review, thanks for this! Have been looking at getting this watch so appreciate your thoughts. Also love the Farer blue leather strap you’ve chosen, I prefer the textured finish of that strap over the smooth CW equivalent so I think I’ll go for the same setup as you.
I'm so happy to read this comment. Really glad you found it helpful!
Good eye to spot the Farer strap. That combination really works well.
Great review, you really covered it all and I enjoyed your witty asides. I also have this watch now and the dial really is something special in person. There's so much depth to the dial because the copper shavings are buried at different levels in the glass. It really does look like a twinkling starry sky. My dial is more very dark purple than very dark blue as Christopher Ward describes it.
Glad you liked it :)
Oh that's interesting. I didn't know there would be different shades. But I guess that's understandable given all of them are unique.
Hope you enjoy your new watch!
Nice review man! Appreciate the detail! I have pretty tiny wrists so would love to see how the C1 looks on your wrist
Glad you liked it!
You have the exact same wrist size as me so I always keep an eye on what you review. This is a great review btw. If you could review CW’s C63 Mulberry Red! Dying to see your review on that dial, also the Farer Aquamatic Freshwater as that has a 38.5 case and think it would look good on a 6” Wrist
Thank you! I'm glad you like the videos.
I don't have plans to review the other CW C63 at the moment, but I'll surely review other CW's and Farer's in 2024
Great video... On a 2nd version of this dial on C63 36mm / 39mm, I hope they bring the normal C63 Lumed Indices back, remove the Automatic Text, consider a more relaible movement (as I have had SW200 break on multiple watches) and on this new 5-link bracelet have an option of a non-butterfly clasp... 🙈
These are all great suggestions!
Just found your channel & Subscribed 👍
What size is your wrist for comparison. I have 6.75 inch
Thank you! I appreciate it.
My wrist is 6"
great review! what's your wrist circumference, for reference?
Thanks! It's 6" or 15.2cm
It's a beautiful watch but I'm going to go for the Bader bracelet. The consort would have been 100% better without the polished links.
If you had to choose between the Celeste and a twelves Nordic blue in 36mm… which would you pick, which would be more worth it for the money ? Great video!
Thank you!
Ah that's a tough choice. Really depends on what you want. Both watches have the same movement, but look pretty different.
I think the Twelve looks better overall and is finished better.
The Celest of course has the very attractive aventurine dial.
I think your decision comes down to how much you want the aventurine dial.
@@TheWatchOut hmm you know, I had a feeling that was the case. The twelves look a little more premium overall, but the aventurine dial is definitely unique. I’ll sit on it a little longer, thanks for the response!
Remarkable value proposition. Looks stunning. There’s so much to like about this watch. The one negative to me is “Automatic” on the dial. It adds nothing and detracts from the overall aesthetic. To me, it’s a deal-breaker given what a gorgeous dial CW has presented but mucked-up with the irrelevant movement designator.
Agreed with most of your points. And although I don't like the text on the dial, it tends to disappear after using it for a few days, because you get used to seeing it on the dial. Get what I mean?
Ahh, likely true. We do “forget” that which bugs us when the rest is so cool! Good point. @@TheWatchOut
Does the Consort bracelet come with half links?
Unfortunately it does not. But the individual links are small enough so you should mostly get a good fit
What are your thoughts on the C63 Celest? What do you like and what would you change?
I honestly would have preferred numbers instead of the indices.
The text AUTOMATIC is off-center which puts me off.
I know right :/
Not very legible and that but plug hour hand 😮 lume is an insult. Bracelet is nice though
Yeah, many people dislike the hour hand. Personally, I don't mind it
What wallet is that
It's my very empty wallet from Rodd and Gunn
