Just got my CW Dune GMT on bracelet. I'm an Omega fan and wanted a gmt for an up coming trip. I chose this Dune because I didn't want a "traditional" looking gmt and this design, size, power reserve, along with the green sold me. Quality punches wayyyyy above the price point. Love the ease of the microadjust on the clasp. Total package watch. Also, this video really helped finalize my decision and purchase. Couldn't be happier. Great video!
I am a CW fan and own a few so I can attest how well they hold their values in secondary market. Burt this light color hands on light color dial just doesn't work for me because it's so hard to read at-a-glance. Anyhow thank you for introducing another nice CW.
@@Mat-sz9hs not in my opinion. Smaller watches can feel a little jarring at first if your used to bigger watches but once you wear it for a few days it feels great. For me I usually like a watch on rhetorical smaller side! (He says whilst wearing a 42mm seamaster 😂) but my point still stands! The smallest watch in my collection is 34mm and I think that’s okay too
Sadly, you missed the misaligned 18 on the GMT, as many do. I’m a massive fan of Christopher Ward (I own the amazing Atoll 300), but this is a deal breaker for me!
I don't believe this is a "Top Grade" Sellita movement, and CW does not advertise it as such. I believe this is an Elabore grade of the 330-2 movement, which would be the same as the one in my CW Aquitane GMT. This is also consistent with the timing tolerances (+/- 20 sec/day) listed in the specifications for both watches. With a full wind, my Aquitane is running between +6 and -2 sec/day, across various positions, which actually falls within COSC specifications. As to the GMT hand, I have a Steinhart GMT watch with colours and design language that mimics the Rolex GMT master in the blue/black ("Batman") colour scheme,. On that watch the GMT hand is completely outlined in blue, which is ridiculously hard to locate at a glance because of its low visual contrast against the black face. By contrast, both the Aquitane and Dune have high-contrast colours (orange on in the case of the Aquitane,) on the GMT hand, which visually lead the eye to the 24 hour bezel or hour-index ring. I think CW got this one absolutely correct!
The bracelet does taper but the clasp is large (it feels like they’ve just used the clasp from a previous design) so although it does go down from 20 - 16mm the clasp makes it feel like it doesn’t really taper at all.
such a beauty. Watch Yourself Jorge did a great hands-on review as well

I got the limited edition version of this the year before with a black face, red GMT hand and beige markers. This is such a nice watch

Hands down the best cw design to date
It’s a gorgeous design! The black one was nice but this version 👨🏽🍳😚
Wow. That’s lovely
Thanks James! 😎
Offical prices start from 1250€ on CW website, how is it showing 950€ in the video?
It’s in British pounds, it starts at £950 on the uk website for the strap option (at least on the website when I checked earlier!)
Nice design, looks strong and eficient,i like it...depends of the prjce
I think it’s a pretty good price for what you get!
The 18 on the bezel is off to the side and needs to be fixed. I can see it on the phone FGS!
good catch sir!
white gloves .. oh jezus, my digital casio running to the minute for 4 years almost, is an absolute must have
Haha Somebody commented that it’s better for smudges and marks on the watch and I listened 🤣🤣!
Hey! I have a 7.25 inch wrist. Would it look to small on me?? I really love this watch, but I dont know if it will look too small on my wrist.
Hey! I have a 7 and 1/4 inch wrist and it looks like the bees knees on me! Never be afraid of a watch being a little smaller than 40mm my friend!
@@AwkwardHorology thanks! Do you feel it too small while wearing it?

Has a cool faded look. Stealthy.
Seriously cool! 😎

@@lordcharfield I hadn’t noticed at all until someone pointed it out to me 😅
@@AwkwardHorology I wouldn’t have noticed either, but I saw it in a couple of videos 😅
That 18 on the inner gmt bezel is misaligned.

So, the bracelet doesn’t taper? They’ve told me it does 20-16mm??!? 😮
The bracelet does taper but the clasp is large (it feels like they’ve just used the clasp from a previous design) so although it does go down from 20 - 16mm the clasp makes it feel like it doesn’t really taper at all.
Thank you
Nice, but the clasp is bigger than the watch itself !
My only criticism is the bracelet and clasp could use some taper!
