💁♀️ HI I'M MELISSA MARIBEL
I help students pass Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I used to struggle with this subject, so when I finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I became a tutor so that you wouldn't have to struggle like I did. I know that with the right help, YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING!

At 0:11 it's polyatomic ions not atoms 🤦♀️
thanks dear
Can u plz tell me that from where did -3 comes in polonium?
Thanks
Same here
Do you have a file about The synthesis of coordination compounds? 😊 thanks
thank you that was driving me crazy in this video and the balance equations video
I GOT THIS SO EASILY AND I SPENT WEEKS OF NOT UNDERSTANDING IN CLASS , GOD BLESS YOU 😭😭😭😭‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Facts
I feel youuuu, super same, how come my teacher didn't even tell us these SIMPLE rules to make the lesson easier to understand. btw, ty melisa
Ditto, just got me unstuck from a week of studying.
I feel you. I'm 3 weeks behind in studying and this just disintegrates everything
You are literally my motivation that keeps me from dropping chemistry
Chemistry I think is liked depending on the teacher, if you have a teacher who is boring or just doesn’t teach well, you’ll dread the class.
@@JohnF06 ong bro I had the easiest and nicest teacher and this one is a ass and doesn't explain stuff well. My ass can barly stay awake with a good nights sleep
@@JohnF06 i unfortunately have that bad teacher...
All the dislikes are from jealous chemistry teachers who couldn't teach as effectively in a year as she could in 5 minutes.
thats a disrespect,
r/woooosh to me, but no teacher should spend a year on one specific topic like this! 😂 LOL
fr why don’t they just let us watch this video and class and be done
Lies
@@sloppymelon445 I love how I'm beginning to suddenly get a bunch of notifications on this comment from a year ago when final exams are beginning to start. We're all in the same boat heheheh
Thank you so much! My Chem. teacher didn't explain what this was, how to do it, or even what the goal really was to it and just threw us into a lab centered around it. I've been freaking out because every video I watched didn't explain that you took the subscript of a polyatomic ion only and I was getting so confused. I think I'll be able to go to school tomorrow and finish the lab fairly accurately. Thanks a million.
You are so welcome Hailee! I'm always happy to explain concepts 😊
No no...you DONT take the subscripts. You ONLY look at the charge of each element or polyatomic ion. You ignore the subscript because it will just be a multiplier. I believe you can actually just multiply the charge by the subscript of every element or polyatomic ion, as long as you do it for every constituent of the equation.
@@SolidSiren I think they meant like you keep the 3 on the oxygen in NO3- not the (NO3)3 the 3 NO3
I'm in college Chemistry 1, never took chem in high school, and this class will be the death of me. I'm not gonna lie I am struggling, but when I watch your videos I feel like there is hope. Thank you so much for making the info clearer than my professor. You are the sugarHONEYiceTEA!
“How to pass chemistry” biiiig help that’s what we need rn
Yay! Happy to hear 😊
GOD BLESS U
u literally explained the whole thing in 5 minutes while my teacher took 40 minutes and I still didn't understand.
You did amazing
Thank you!
holy smokes. your videos are entertaining and super easy to understand! thanks so much :D
This video is extremely helpful! I just think maybe you should have noted that this video is for Double Replacement’s to avoid any confusion. But beside that, this video helped me a lot with those chemical equations thanks again!
does that apply ONLY to double replacement or can it apply to any of the 6 reactions?
@@texturedair2276 I think it’s only double replacement
and this applies for only 2 reactants :(
u beautiful chemistry goddess doing the lord’s work helping us out hereBless
lol mood
This is really great and something that is seriously lacking in my teacher's lectures. I still have questions but you've cleared up a great deal of my confusion. Thank you!
Thank you so so much!!
We are almost done with the 2-year long chemistry course and I just watched this video now and everything from the last 2 years makes sense to me for the very first time!
Omg I have a summative tomorrow and this helped SOOOO MUCH!!!!!
Happy to hear 😊
So do I! Wish me luck...
I have watched SO many videos trying to figure this out and you finally made it simple enough! Thank you!
You're so welcome Emma!
Thank you so much. It's really not the subject that makes the class hard, it's the teacher.
i’m in 8th grade taking a 10th grade class and it’s really hard sometimes. my teacher isn’t very helpful and gives us worksheets, expecting us to “teach ourselves” just because we’re more advanced. i’ve had a hard time with school for the first time in my life and your videos are the only thing that are helping me through physical science😂😂thank you!!
well, now i think i can pass my chem test now lol thanks!
THIS ACTUALLY HELPED ME
Thank you so much for making short videos like these! It makes chemistry so much easier to understand.
Yay!! Happy to hear it's making sense 🤓
literally the only video that answered my questions accurately
Im honestly so glad that I found your video it helped understand it better especially since I have an upcoming test and am struggling in chemistry. Thanks so much :)
I have my midterm tomorrow but you explained this better than any of the videos this whole semester! Thank you, I hope I can pass. This was one subject I had issues with because I didn't know about the charges or think they were important lol
This video is the reason I’m not failing science right now. Thank you so much!
this channel is the only reason i'm not failing AP chem
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW THANKFUL I AM FOR THESE VIDEOS!!!! THANKS SO MUCH
My teacher spent less than five minutes teaching this and expected us to be experts. This video is a lifesaver!!! Thank you so much!
I mean this video is less than 5 minutes
This we can understand by our own also as these are the examples of double displacement reaction whereas the tough ones are exothermic and endothermic and precipitate ones
I have a question!! So if the charges on the two outer elements for example were not the same, would you do the crossover rule?
Lmao no one answered but yes
WOWW!!! You made it easier for me to understand ma'am!!! I salute you Thanks a lot!
why are u such a legend:)))) u literally helped me pass all my chemicals tests
Wow , thank you so much for breaking this down into consumable bite size. This really helped!
you literally saved my life THANK YOU SO MUCH
Thank you so much for this video I am in chemistry and me and my friends don't understand what our teacher teaches us.
You came here and just made it so easy
God bless you🤓😘😍
You are the reason that I am going to pass my freshman honors chemistry class! Thank You soooo much!
I have made step by step Chemistry notes to guide you through out your class. (Trust me they cut your study time in half!)
If you aren't sure what notes are for you, feel free to submit your syllabus here ➡️ melissa.help/syllabus
Thanks a million.
How i can predicting product from 3 reactance?
please, it's crying need to me...
THX SO MUCH LOVE i have chem exam tomorrow and I didn't know how to do that but UR A LIFE SAVER
Amazing teaching I understand the concept very fast me very weak in chemistry understand fastest thanks a lot
I've spent so many months trying to figure this out. No teacher, no book, no video had ever taught me this before. I hope you know how many lives you're saving. Keep up the amazing work.
Thank thank you Soo much madam...I understand clearly.... Ur teaching is very very good...
Oml you are literally an angel from heaven. I paid for a $1,000 summer course and I have no idea whats happening but you cleared it up so fast!!! Thank you I wish you all the best :)
This is a million times more helpful than my honors chem teacher oml
GOD!!!!! Ican't how grateful I am to you rn. I loveeeee youuuuu!!!!!
So glad I found this I have a test over predicting products this week and had no idea how to do it, thanks a lot!
I'm a 51 year old taking General Chemistry for the first time online with a teacher who usually teaches advanced chemistry. Oh and its an accelerated class that's only 5.5 weeks long . I thank God I found you online! I feel as though you are my personal tutor. Keep doing what you 🙌🏾
GOD BLESS THIS WOMAN THANK YOU FOR SINGLEHANDEDLY SAVING MY GRADE
Thank U So Much For clearing My Doubt !❤️❤️
I'm one minute into the video and you immediately helped me understand this topic better. Thank you!
OMFG I HAVE A TEST TOMORROW THIS HELPED SO MUCH TY 🙏🙏🙏
YOU ARE AN ANGEL FOR THIS
I wanna tell you I love you and omg, I was so confused in class and as soon as you did the first part I’m like “ITS THAT EASY?!”
Thank you for saving my butt!
This is fascinating
I have understood it much better
Thank you
Hey Melissa,I understand all types of chemical reactions but some reactions not,for example:N2O5+H2O-->2HNO3
Ca(OH)2---->CaO+H2O
I know that first reaction is synthesis and the second one is decomposition, but i see that there is something more different. Can you please make a video with examples like those reactions?
Hi Ma'am Melissa, I am from the Philippines and I really thank you for your videos and I just want to let you know that you are a very great teacher and you made chemistry a fun subject for me. I really appreciate your efforts, ma'am. More powers and God bless!
I am in grade 10th and I watch your videos to clear my doubts. Your videos are a great help.
I actually started watching your video today and I am already in love with it.
Yay! So happy to hear you’re enjoying the videos 😊
Ms Maribel... let me be frank.. Pls upload some mnemonics to remember the products of reactions between Acid, Base or Metal oxides etc.
For example:- Metal Oxide+ Acid=> Salt+ Water
How can I remember such things??
Oh my gosh this is so helpful! I no longer feel like chemistry is impossible ! Thank you
Yay!! Yes it's not impossible, I'm here for you Samantha 😊
Thank you queen :) I watched your videos for all of Gen Chem 1 and here I am again watching your videos for my entrance exam for nursing school!
This video was extremely helpful thanks so much. God bless you
Thank you so much for this! I'm 31 and trying to finally get my GED, all of this confuses me but you make it so simple. Keep up the good work!
God bless you. I didn't understand net ionic equations unit at all but these videos really help
Lifesaver, easy to understand, easy to remember and actually kind fun to watch. Thank you so much I’ll be sure to come back if I ever need help
You're very welcome! Happy you enjoyed the video :)
Thank u much❤❤❤❤ u explain It so simply I was struggling for weeks
you are literally a model with a big brain. HOW DO YOU DO IT. HOW ARE YOU SO SMART
Aww thanks, it’s a lot of hard work but you can get there!
@@melissamaribel Thanks for your support! I love you're videos!
one of the best videos on this topic. bless you.
Wow, thank you! This really helped me understand
Mam how to we know that which one is having positive charge and which one is having a negative charge?
Thank you so much for your notes, flashcards & videos! They help me so much since I am a chemistry major also! You're the best!
In the first 1:25 minutes you just saved my life by giving me the EASIEST way to remember this!!
Om gahh I almost just fell for this woman. Idk what i wouldve done without this video. Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for your videos. They’re a big help for my chemistry class and I’m struggling with online school so your videos are literally a lifesaver
Well it's really very helpful😄... thanks.. btw it's Akriti from India.😄
This video is so helpful thanks!! The noise the marker made on the paper was torture though!!
miss Maribel, I don't think you know how much you are actually helping me right now. I literally almost dropped this class because of the upcoming tests. thank you :)
Melissa you are fantastic...... you break this down so easily..... I’m actually looking forward to chemistry in the fall, lol.... You are the best 🎉
You are a legend. Your videos are getting me through chemistry in such a big way. THANK YOU!
Yo, just wanna say that I'm actually passing chemistry because of your vids. Thank u so much💖
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! the only video I found that specifically explained how they got everything! I wish I had seen your channel when I first started chemistry would've saved me a failed test or two :(
:)
So thankful for these videos!
Such a life saver💜
Thank you SO much! I have a test tomorrow!
Thank you so so much! Easy to follow and your enthousiasm makes me eager to learn!
what a lovely teaching i understood it thanks a lot dear
Thank you!
welcome dear
welcome my dear
I really love how she state her last message bcause right now i am really struggling with chemistry and her message gives me a bit positivity into my system
Yay!! I'm so glad positivity is being spread, I completely understand the struggle and how discouraging others or just the material can be. If you have any questions let me know!
I see more than 17 videos to find product in chemical reaction your video is best mam
Thank you very much mam.
Your video easy to know chemistry.
You're very welcome!
Thank U so much Mam plz make More videos on chemistry basics and practicals please.
Wait does this work every time? I am so confused my teacher made it sound like a 4 hour 50 step long process.... what about when like there is only one reactant or product.... thanks so much!
Help me understand much more then other videos!!!!
You are more than best chemistry teacher
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL
wow this makes so much sense, thank you!
Thanks for the video. I have determined that Chemists have arbitrarily set rules on how to balance equations or predict reactions. Deciding when to include or exclude subscripts seemingly can’t be explained - instead you’re just supposed to remember when to use them and when not to.
You are saving my life (and my grade). Thank you.
Amazing Video. Thanks for the help!
Thank you very much!! I have a question, how do you do it when you have more than 2 reactants?
I have this question too!! If you ever figure it out please let me know!
You are a genuine lifesaver!
THANK YOU ma'am. It was helpful for me.
I'm in grade 7 and taking this , this video helped me so much ty
THIS IS THE EASIEST EXPLANATION EVER, thank you so much 😍😍😍
