First off, your Hoya latifolia is simply amazing. I love both the dark green and the sun stressed one. Thank you for sharing your beautiful plants as well as your expertise on the care of the plant. Your tip about sacrificing a leaf to accelerate rooting makes a lot of sense, but it is something that I would find hard to do. My Hoyas are few and every leaf is so precious to me(we don’t have a lot of Hoyas in my country and I have a humble collection of just 8 varieties). I recently chopped and propped my Hoya Wayetii and the propagations kept dropping leaves - I was literally in tears because I though I would lose the whole plant. But thank God for the online plant community, I discovered my props were losing leaves because of insufficient airflow. I corrected that and managed to rescue the last few cuttings which are now rooting well. I can’t wait for the next show and tell, thank you so much.
That is awesome!! Thank you for sharing that story. I, too, am very grateful for the community. All of the things I have learned in this hobby has been from the amazing community one way or another. I'm glad you feel the same love I feel about it!
Yes please continue with this series. It gives us the info about different Hoyas and we can make informed decisions on whether certain Hoyas fit the environment in our homes. Thanks
Thank you for all the detailed information about this variety. I love learning about the leaf size, rooting methods and so on. I've never seen such a large latifolia! And those clusters of flowers are remarkable!
What a *beautiful* mature plant!! I wasn’t sure how much I liked my little variegated macrophylla, and wow, there’s something wonderful to grow into! ❤ I’d actually just taken some cuttings to propagate, and all this info is here at perfect timing. Thanks so much for the gold mine of info, April!
You are so knowledgeable. I am glad I found this channel; I am new into Hoyas and I am learning so much here. I love latifolias; Sarawak is my dream. Yours are beautiful, those leaves 😍

This is a great series! Please continue! Just wanted to share something I've discovered, Fish Fertilizer (Fish Poop) increases new growth. Been using for about 1 months, several Hoya's have new growth, very exciting!
What a stunning specimen! I’m so inspired to tend to my latifolia now. (It hasn’t done anything in a long while.) Also is it just me, or are the birds chirping mostly only when you’re talking haha!
Yes we do!!! You can order them directly from our site. If this is your first time ordering from out of country, you can also shoot me an email so I can walk you through it
Thank you for the suggestion! We will keep it in mind for future videos 😊 We haven't really experimented with the latifolia because based on their origin (southeast asia) it doesn't get too cold. I would say no cooler than 55f
Thank you April your videos have been a great help to me. All the way from South Africa.
