    Thanks for so much information you give ♥️ Also, you know, you mentioned the curved shears…it’s very beneficial for pruning, and something I discovered by accident that works SO well (in a similar curved fashion) - lobster scissors! I just found them at Smart & Final, lol, in the kitchen section. I think they’re also called seafood shears. They’re so strong because (obviously) they’re designed to break open lobster shells, crab legs, etc… but they’re also curved, blunt tipped & can cut extremely delicately if you need them to! I like the style of yours too cause they’re a little shorter 😊

    • @unsolicitedplanttalks

      Hmm that can be a tough one! There are so many factors that can contribute to this, but I will definitely add it to the list ☺

    • @unsolicitedplanttalks
      @unsolicitedplanttalks  Рік тому

      For the time being, the best answer I can give you is it is likely due to environmental issues of some kind, or even pests depending. Things like too little light or too much water would be a good place to start.

    • @unsolicitedplanttalks
      @unsolicitedplanttalks  Рік тому +1

      I still do them during winter but that’s because we grow in a greenhouse and it’s controlled. If you are growing indoor, you can do it too! Just know that it may take a little longer if you don’t have a tent or a space where it’s controlled at all times. But not impossible!

      They all get large leaves! Some just vary a bit, like the “dinner plate” latifolia is flat and seems to grow bigger faster than the (Sarawak) ☺️

      A cup of perlite sitting on a saucer with water might be a good idea! ☺️ Make sure your cup of perlite has drainage hole(s) and as soon as you see the roots long enough to touch the bottom/water, you can up pot the plant to its permanent substrate ☺️
