      Make sure it’s not actually low copper. Copper is needed to mobilize iron, so without sufficient copper, iron is just stored in the liver with nowhere to go!

    • @notthefather3919
      @notthefather3919 3 роки тому +4

      Beef liver is a fast way to get your iron up. And it is a good source of copper.

      I want to try my hands at this because my mom likes it and my boyfriend does too,and my mom suffer from low blood and liver supposedly helps with this.

    Heres a little tip for you. First fry up some bacon crispy. Take the bacon out and then do all your spices, onions and fry up the liver in the bacon grease. Plate your delicous liver and onions...crumble the bacon and sprinkle over the liver. Now we're talking! Trust me on this.

    I found it inspiring.
    I pressure cook the liver for tenderness.
    I'm cooking the liver and onions separately for tenderness.
    Singe the onions very well.
    I like how you finished with the broth and letting the flour thicken.
    Perfect, thank you very much

You hadda' PRESENT! You slapped that there gallop of rice on th' plate, jus'as if you WEREN'T being mean. Then you went to makin' "Yummmy noises. Not once, but EVERY damned time that fork disappeared. Now, I've got'ta go buy sum liver.

    Thank you for the video. It looks so good. I grew up having liver. My Mom just cooked the liver, no onions!

    Nice job on the video. I don't know if I enjoyed your technique more or your splendid enthusiasm when eating it? Will cook some tonight your way, and thank you.

    I too call it the W sauce 😂. Love it. I've always been intimidated to try liver, much less prepare it myself, but I will definitely be trying this method tonight. Thanks for the straight forward video!

    Oh gawd I feel like having this right now with mash potatoes, I use a can of campbells cream of celery to thicken up the gravy in the pan or I use corn starch to thicken it up. good job jay it looks very good.
