Of all the London history channels, I enjoy this one the most. The videos are entertaining, informative and amusing. Because Andrew doesn't churn stuff out, each video that he makes for us is a rare treat..
For some strange reason I was wondering yesterday if you were going to make some new videos and when I checked YT there it was ;). I enjoyed it as usual, thank you!
Dr.Salter's Daydream artwork has just brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for a lovely walk and great mix of info and humour and may I also add, thank you for speaking quite SLOWLY ; so many youtoobers gabble and it's not easy to listen to. I have only just discovered you but will like and subscribe. London is one of my favourite places. I'm currently living in Brittany. All the best and thank you.
Be great if you could do a video on Wigan, we have plenty of supermarket trolley's in the River Douglas. 🤣 Great work though, do enjoy your sarcastic & humourous approach. 👍
I was having a bit of a crappy day and then this popped up on my feed! My day is still crappy but for 13 minutes it was much better. Thanks for the vids. Love your stuff!
I know it's a lot of work putting together these videos but like the previous commenter, I also enjoy this channel the most. Andrew seems like someone with whom I would enjoy sitting in a pub with a good English beer and chatting. Alas, New Mexico and London not being in proximity that's not going to happen I'm afraid. But keep 'em coming...they are the best.
Very sad that you are leaving London but I wish you well on your next adventure! Hopefully you'll do some vids for Birmingham or wherever in the midlands you are. Looking forward to it
If you're going to tell the Mayflower story try telling it all not only did they stop at Southampton but once the Mayflower and the Speedwell actually set sail the Speedwell leaked so much they both returned to Dartmouth and eventually the Mayflower set sail alone from Plymouth.
So I'm assuming from its absence in this video that Stave Hill is a not-particularly-significant artificial hill from the 60s or something. It is cool though!
0:38 - Rotherhithe is in the South WEST quadrant?! Is that just to see who is paying attention? Of course it's in the South EAST (hence SE16 postcode). EDIT - now see you've put a correction in the description :-).
Oh ffs, just read me why don't you, yes I'm an amarican yes I went to the mayflower after visiting the Brunel museum. I was all excited to see it when you first had a shot in front of it.... Lived the video
As a Canadian I would very much like to find out what types of Canadian things can be found at this ‘Canada Water’ are there, geese, beavers, Poutine, French and English disagreements?
History at it's best! But I think I've subscribed to 3 Exploring London, do everytime I click to the channel, I thought it's you but alas! a different one. Anyway, I still like your channel. Let's stay connected.

This channel is very very underrated.
very good🇮🇩
Rotherhithe Street is reputed to be the longest Street, not the longest Road! The clue’s in the name 🤷♂️
I lived there from '93 to '97, when it was much less developed. Happy memories.
You’re character and humour is cracking!
I also just discovered that your an intensive care doctor too! Bloody brilliant stuff 👍🏻👍🏻

You did miss the fact that Christopher Jones...the captain of the Mayflower...is buried in the churchyard of St Marychurch.
