    I love this kitty mug warmer! Idea for sewing on a button with holes. Use green thread. We all know cats have colored eyes when the light shines right. Cute.

    Just wanted to let you know that I believe you to be a sweet and most talented young woman. It’s been a few years and I’m back to crocheting. You’ve become an inspiration for me to keep crocheting and experiment with colors and variation on some of your patterns. One day I did Santa, your star and working on the sunflower blanket. I love your tutorials and have learned so many new stitches! Keep up the GOOD work! THANK YOU! Your fan, Kathy

    This is great! I'd love to see a tutorial on how to make a mug cosy, with space for the handle.

    I’m going through your videos getting ideas for gifts. And it just occurred to me that this would be PERFECT for my mother. She has carpal tunnel bad and it’s hard for her to grip glasses and such, this is a perfect gift for anyone with an issue like that because I would think It would make cups and glasses so much easier to hold on to.
    Thank you so much!!

      Hi Kathleen, speaking as someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis, I find having a little extra 'grip' on a mug is a lot of help, especially early in the morning! Thank you for watching :)

      Jayda InStitches she actually has a hard time crocheting and sewing. She’s even stuck her fingers accidentally with needles. I’m going to be making her one for Xmas 😄 thank you again.

      @@masuganut2082 My mother is older and has serious arthritis in her hands. Knitting has been the best therapy for her. She still does, and has just knit a bunny. She does not crochet, I do. At 56 my arthritis is beginning. Crocheting and knitting may look difficult but it does make a difference. I with your mother well.

      Hi! I think these were between 5 and 10 mm - anything in that range would be fine :) I found mine at Walmart in the sewing section :)

    HI Jayda, cute kitties - perfect gift for my coffee & cat-loving friends. I'm a beginner - is there a technique for filling in to that bottom row you showed? I have two great crochet books -would I find it there? BTW, thanks for info on the tools.

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  8 років тому

      Hi Kellkatz, the underside of the foundation chain row should have the same number of loops to work as it did when you worked across the top of it (while making row 1). They might look a little different, but they're there! :)

      Jayda InStitches If you just go around without doing anything differently, won’t the problem not go away? It’ll just keep being uneven, so I'm wondering as well what you did to prevent that.

    My cozy keeps getting smaller going up idk what I'm doing wrong? This is my first project since learning how to crochet

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  3 роки тому

      Hi KT, make sure you aren't skipping any stitches as you crochet. If your stitch count is the same in each row, then it might be that you're just tightening up as you crochet. This is totally normal when starting out, your tension will ease up as you practice :)

    Jayda.. I'm curious if you have done crochet Batman symbol.. if not are you up for the challenge.. I'd love to see what you come up with..

    This cup cozy is called a zarf

    • @JaydaInStitches
      @JaydaInStitches  8 років тому

      Hi Faben! I think zarfs are usually made out of metal (which wouldn't be such a great idea for a hot drink LOL).
