Thank you for the tutorial! The wings were a bit confusing but the nose cleared things up. I’m glad I had been making crocodile tear gloves b4 starting this so i understood the body better. But it is super cute!!
I also found that stitching the eyes and nose together before attaching (or rather than redoing applications 3 times 😂) it seemed to me work best for me. The eyes seemed to move around a lot even after pinning down. Thanks for the Pinterest finds!! You are great ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Actually I suppose you are right..she lives in Oregon, I'm in Calif. I've had bronchitis since Nov 7th, and this week it turned into pneumonia..so she's not even expecting me to mail off he gifts until Monday ;) I CAN squeeze in a mug cozie...once i get two men's 6 ft scarves done with black yarn lol Besides, making one will give my tired eyes a break from working with black!!

For starting the second row of the feathers, I'm sure you didn't like how it looked because you didn't chain 2 or 3, it looked better when I chained 3. It obviously doesn't matter but I'm sure that was the reason it looked "not right" lol. Thank you for the tutorial, my owl mug cozy looks so cute💜

Hi i am loving this video but i have made one eye and you say do other one,if i did that they would be both the same with the chains and slip stitches in the corners faceing the same way,so should i do the 3 chain and slip stitch and 4 chain at the beginning then the 10sc

I'm sorry, I should of showed that too. Looking at the correct side, attach yarn (eyelash color) and work backwards from the lash pattern. Ex: Chain 4, sl st 3, sl st attach, ch 3, sl st, 2 etc....

How do you do the other eye to where the lashes ( the lighter blue ones ) are on the other side? Do you do them first when you change the color; sorta like doing it backward? Or do you do the same pattern and just use the back side of it to make it the opposite eye?

Do you mean, chain one after each row? If so, then yes. Hope this helps.

If you just created the chain, yes, 2nd chain from hook 😀

Are you turning after the first 5 stitches (feathers)? You keep moving it around and it’s hard to see where thevhook is going. Love the design, but having a hard time following this ...
I Make the 5 dc's then I work on the opposite side. I do have a link in the description bar to help you more with ths stitch

Hi, does the cozy fit a regular coffe cup and the cup you get from a coffee shop
It fits a standard size Mug, i believe its a 16oz. You can shorten it and make it a sleeve to fit the cups at a coffee shop. Thank you for watching

here is food for thought, how about making a tutorial that a deaf person can follow, its not that hard, just keep your hands up close and dont skip any stitches. Then you will be able to teach to a broader spectrum of people

I love the pattern but found it hard to follow once you started the feathers because you went too quickly and it was confusing. I just got really frustrated. I wish you would go a little slower so it is easier to follow and the steps are more clear.
i have crocheted along time but dont know how others can figure out the feathers and i should. I'll have to give up

It doesnt look right on your base row for 2nd row of feathers bc you didnt chain at the beginning

Love the pattern, but I really found the sniffing very annoying...
Very informative but found that more detailed direction would have been appreciated. Had to watch a few times. Also the constant sniffing really got to me. As a mom i wanted to stop and tell you to go blow your nose every time i heard you sniff. takes away from the instruction a little.

Yes it is. I’m sorry for the confusion. This is an old video and I was just getting the hang of recording and explaining things. I also usually have the pattern on my website so you can print it out and read along and follow with the videos if needed.
