My best friend and i got an uber home from the valley on Friday, we had 2 strangers in the car with us because one of them was laying on the ground crying out the front of rics and we wanted to help her. She cried the whole way home too and I was sitting in the front seat ignoring all the commotion in the back and I kept leaning over to the uber driver and whispering "run the red light"... "speed"... "hit that pedestrian"... like all the intrusive thoughts I usually get i was just whispering them to him and he ended up telling me about how he lost 18 demerit points in one day and he is on good behaviour. The next day I felt like I did the equivalent of encouraging a drug addict in recovery to take a hit.
I enjoyed the bit where you forgot to put the Zyro logo on screen and were just talking with your face fuzzed out for a solid 5 seconds, this is the quality content I signed up for.
Unfortunately where I live there aren’t that many Uber drivers so I pretty much know all of them. I’ll Occasionally get the old weirdo but it’s not very much.
I AM someone! I made it to Brianne's channel - and I got 10 POINTS! YAY! BTW, I am up to 9000 rides with a repeat rate of.01percent (90 repeat customer trips). That statistic is what makes the job possible. On a side note, I was able to take a 3-month driving tour (19,000 KM) of Australia and New Zealand from the US with my first year's Uber income.
I remember when I was 5-7 and I want to Bali with my mum, dad and sister. (I can’t remember the exact ages because we went twice) My Sister was only around 3-5 and she peed in the guy’s car which he was borrowing from his parents (who were strict according to the driver) but we were paying him so much and dad gave him some beers and we didn’t get in trouble. He thought we were rich because we owned a small farm at the time with only 2,000 sheep and a few horses. He almost worshiped us but we were really just a bit povo (Jensen the Holliday in Bali).
Note to readers: I just discovered that Brianne read my post in this video! Yay! That said, I am The same guy who made the "Go to Hell" comment, so sorry about the redundant nature of this post... The key to becoming a successful ride share driver is the ability to tell your passenger to "Go to Hell" in such a way that they look forward to the trip. This usually involves ending the trip with a total suck-up additude towards the customer knowing full-well that you will NEVER see that customer EVER AGAIN! In case you wonder how that can happen, my repeat rate is .01 percent (or 90 trips) out of 9000-plus trips. It is also important to rate problem customers at a "one" to insure that the next driver gets the proper "vibe" for that customer. Again, just to clarify the value of being an Uber driver, I was able to amass $12.000.00 US my first year of driving - enough for this Yank to take a 3-month, 19000 km driving tour of Australia and New Zealand for my retirement. It was an AWESOME experience that did include many scenic bits of Queensland...
MULIPLE WORK PLACE/ FAST FOOD HORROR STORIES 1. At the local fish and chip shop I currently work at was driven into at 10 in the morning by a drunk driver, almost hitting and killing my co worker but because the customer has asked for extra chicken salt on the chips she survived with only 3rd degree burns on her back and hand, a few years later the same sort of thing happened but into of going through the side of the shop they went through the front door and continuously get asked by mulitple customers if the co worker is alright and how she recovered it was 2 years ago. 2. my boss own a multitude of different shops so and the latest shop that he has bought was a grocer( so they same guy who owns the local fish and chip shop). Me and my co workers had to clean the salad bar at which we make hamburgers and fish and chips, while cleaning the salad bar it was shown the previous owner of 3 years before had never cleaned . So when having to pull up the vents 3-4 years worth of rotten mould food went flying out everywhere, just so happened the local karren that comes into the shop to complain about everything saw the salad bar and now uses it against us, and as a 15 year old and my co workers being 20+, I was the one to clean the whole salad bar which took me 3.5 hours to clean and my co-workers( one in particular) took all the credit for cleaning it 3. at the cafe in which my boss owns( in total 4 busniesses) I was working a Saturday afternoon at which a Karen come into complain that her smoothie was to mushy and it need to be remade instantly as well as her salad didn't have feta on it so she was going to faint if it was remade and on top of that wanted a refund and when we declined she wanted to speak to boss ( which he wasn't there as he was at his other businesses). Lets just say working in fast food/ local businesses are not always the most pleasant!!!!
Just saying, the far north pub I work at, had a random guy go up to a backpacker girl having a smoke (behind the hotel so no one else was around) and he asked for a smoke, she said no and he decided to bite her face 😲 he didn't bite the skin but a general manager found her about 5mins later freaking the fuck out, as you could imagine, just a fun story 😕😅
