- These bikes are absolute monsters! We caught up with Oscar and Dan at the International Roll Racing Associations inaugural event at Palm Beach International Raceway, they battle it out and show us a true comparison of a Turbo vs Nitrous Hayabusa. They both make roughly 300WHP but their setups are quite different.

That's the one and only Gregg's custom rail kit w custom Corbin seat...got it on my black '11 everyone loves the bike w that tail lol. If Zookie built em that way from the jump they'd sold X2 as many. Gotta drop close to $2k to do it right have the K7 1k plastics and get trunk lock locksmithed for busa ignition key
Everyone complained about busa looks until gixr tail (and the small gixr front fender swapped on). Everyone used to bitch about how ugly Subarus bulldog looks were in 2003-06, now everyone seems to like em lol.
No matter what people say, the Busa is still the sexiest looking bike ever made.

Gregg's Customs prepare to drop around 2k total to do it all w paint/parts. The one-off Corbin seat that is required and comes w it is way nicer than stock seat also. Got it on my black/red '11 transforms bikes vibe makes for one less ugly busa on the streets makes it a sleeper lol
Suzuki launched the Hayabusa in 1999 to beat the Honda SuperBlackBirdXX top speed holder. Hayabusa means Peregrine Falcon, a bird that hunts Blackbirds.

Zx14R
ZX-14R makes a good deal more power stock and modded (n/a). But add boost to both engines and the ZX breaks first. It's not as strong as the Hayabusa.

0-200km / h in 3 ~ 4s? It is worth remembering that riding one of these costs a lot less than any ferrari, porsche, lambo that usually stays in the house from 11 ~ 12s in the quarter mile.
The 425hp busa you guys filmed a couple years back here in Michigan that was racing the 1750hp UGR lambo is making 600 hp now.
And that Lamborghini probably making 2600hp now

I prefer turbo, because Nitrous is like not permanent and you have to refill it and with turbo just the fuel

So the fat guy running 75 shot on pump, beats/gaps the skinny guy with tail swap and 9.0 compression motor gt28 turbo?! Like 176 mph vs. 160 mph?! Something not right here?! Turbo kit 4000$ dry nitrous kit 400$. I would be a little upset if his 400$ 75 shot gapped me by 16 mph......

Not really. There are still street bikes out trapping the fastest GTR's in the country, but you would rarely see them on the street. I know a few people who make 600+ hp on their bikes that race, but usually can't get an equal car (2000hp+) to match.
Im sure the GTR wins any day. However, take in consideration how modded the GTR is, how much money there is into it. What would happen if you put the same time, effort, and money into the busa? You basically get a professional drag bike. Those things are out of this world

Wonder just how much faster than a stock Hyabusa they are? Traction must be the limiting factor? I have a stock one and can overcome the tyre in pretty much every gear! All the power in the world is no good if you can't put it down?

Boost by gear, slight stretch, and a good tire. Nitrous bike is progressive per gear as well.
That Racing Channel would love to see that. When really getting on it I have found the tyre was the limiting factor. It is easy to overpower it with a mild tuned 220 bhp.

Turbo bike needs a better boost by gear and extended swing arm with a stickier tire he was afraid to open it up.

Stuffs the transmission of street vehicles and roll racing is what occurs mostly on the street. This is to take racing off the street and give it some legitimacy rather that a bunch of dangerous petrol heads dicing with death and endangering others. They could go regular drag racing but transmission stress is an issue for these sreet registered vehicles.
