I need one of these die cut machines💕wrist issues suck the fun out of die cutting for me & I cannot afford an electric machine but oh my gosh I would use the heck out of this ❤️🩵💜
A lovely card. It looks like a nice machine. I like that compartments. I would definitely keep a piercing tool in one. The fact that you can use this without hurting your wrist is a great feature for those of us that have problems with our hands/wrist. I always like to see how everyone likes a new product after a few months of using it all the time. My first thought was.....gimme, gimme gimme that I'm a gimme gimme brat. A little ditty I like to sing to myself when I WANT something. Thanks for the video.
Cathy, you are a life saver. I have a 3D embossing folder from Altenew that just wasn't embossing, even though I increased the pressure. I watched your video and saw you put the cutting mat on top of the folder. I decreased the pressure and with the mat on top...it worked! So thankful. Love to listen to you funny girl!!!
It is GREAT that Gina K Designs finds a crafting tool and fixes a lot of its problems. This machine, which I ordered immediately, will be so much better than all of the other die cutting and embossing machines! Beautiful card, Cathy!
So excited to see this technique as I'm reeeeeeeally paying attention to ink blending these days. I was afraid that distress inks would be needed to blend over embossed images. I hope you realize just how valuable your (and JM's and GK's etc) videos are to us . . . especially as we're ready to jump into new techniques. 'Preciate you!!
I enjoy watching your videos! And I always get a good laugh too at the funny things you say! You are good for my soul! Can’t thank you enough Cathy!!!❤❤❤
I was still at work during Gina’s release party, so by the time I watched it (about 3 hrs later) the Intri Cut was sold out. That said, I already have multiple die cutting machines, that thus far work for me. So it’s probably good they were all gone or I might have convinced myself I had to have this one too! I’m so happy for Gina K & Co that they sold out so quickly! I love your card Cathy! The color combos are yummy! Tfs!
Looks like you may have introduced us to the perfect die cutting machine! Also- I took advantage of your Black Friday code and ordered myself the white glass craft mat and a set of magnets! Yayyyy! Thanks for the code!
When I need to replace my die-cutting machine, I will definitely go with this one. Gina definitely has solved the problem of multiple plates and sandwiches. Your card is so beautiful. I love the color combination on the snowflakes. The jewels really add the perfect amount of shine.
Love your card. You sold me on the machine when you laughed about it turning so easily! Enjoyed your video. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed weekend.
Cathy, so glad Gina brought this machine out and into the mainstream of paper crafting! This is made by the same company I wrote to you about a few weeks ago. And, so glad it is easy for you to use without hurting your wrists!
Im so impressed with the machine!!!! Now I regret spending my crafting budget for Dec and Jan! 😢LOL! The fact thst there's no fussing with plates is genius! Oh well, I'll have to just enjoy watching. I would have never thought using that color combination. 😮 It's gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Be blessed. ❤
Hi Cathy, speaking of Top Gun, the movie, my only grandchild’s name is Maverick, he’s 5, their dogs name is Goose, he’s 4. Love snowflakes of any kind, super beautiful cats,
This was a little like the cuttelbug without the adjustments! But they longer make plates for it! But now I went with the Gemini! Will have to wait til it gets back in stock!
I love my Gemini Junior! And I found plates on Amazon someone makes (made?) for my old, spa blue Cuttlebug in case the electricity ever goes out. lol The Bira machine looks the same as the one Gina came out with - a friend has one.
Beautiful!!! Do you include a piece of cardstock in the envelope to protect the front of the card? Happy Thanksgiving. Appreciate all you wonderful videos.
So, earlier today I had seen your cards that you did with the balloons die cut and I had told you that that was my first video that I had seen of yours. I would like to know if you can tell me what the difference is are with the paper, cardstock paper. I'm hearing A2 and 80 lb, just for examples. I would like to know what paper is best for die cutting what paper is best for stamping on, what does it make a difference things like that. Thank you.💜
A2 is size. We call it US A2 and that size is the finished card: 5.5 x 4.25. I like to die cut 110# Neenah Classic Crest in Solar White. That is one of my favorite papers but I also use the 80lb, like i did for the embossing!
@@czdesign thanks, I have some kits, that are getting me started, but getting the paper and inks, when not using the kits, I just want a better understanding when it's time to buy, if that makes sense. Thank you.😊
Interesting that Gina's marketing dept. thought there was room for yet another die cut machine in our limited craft market! I wouldn't have thought so...but clearly, what do I know!
For me, it's the dials for adjusting tension that make this one different for me. Mind you, from some comments I've read on different videos, it seems this feature already existed, but isn't so well known. I definitely had no clue about it, but like you said...what do I know? 😂 I love the idea of it and love Gina's stuff, but don't have the space for another machine. My Big Kick and Side Kick still do what I need, though there is definitely frustration around embossing folder sandwiches. I have just gotten into the habit of taping instructions for each sandwich onto my machine, which now looks a bit like a car full of bumper stickers. 😅
This machine is made by Bira . Bira sells a machine identical to the Gina K version ( obviously her name isnt on it and it’s a different t color ) . Walmart online and Amazon are two places I found by Googleing it. It’s cheaper than the Gina K version. I’ve listened to what Gina K says and has posted about it and it really doesn’t seem that there have been any changes to the orginal Bira machine when it’s sold under the Gina K name . I’ve heard some say that the Gina K has metal gears etc, and I can’t see anywhere that this is stated, it’s insinuated there have been changes , but it’s never stated exactly what the changes are . I’m not saying anything bad about the Gina K machine or Gina K. I am saying do your research, listen to what other users ( who aren’t biased in any way) have to say about both machines. I wouldn’t suggest buying anything because of hype , or because it’s a specific brand. I’d really love to see a video comparison of both machines at the same time. I’d also like to see anything g from Bira or Gina K specifying how the Gina K version differs from the orginal Bira machine ( I’d like to see the justification for the increased price of the Gina K compared to the orgina Bira machine. If there’s no difference, then why the increased price ? )
I had not used this style of machine, prior to using Gina's machine. But I did have a UA-cam commenter send me an email about three months prior recommending an adjustable pressure style machine. I didn't follow through on checking it out though. When I did, after getting Gina's machine prior to release, the commenter had shared the Bira, which I had never seen. But that often will happen with companies overseas, making machines that are branded for specific companies. I know the Intri-cut machine comes with a 29.99 die set, but also the company backs and supports all products. I'm not familiar with Bira's brand or customer service support. Thanks for your comment.
No! it sounds like your internet? Do you mean the video quality jumps around? Or the edits of the video. I do jump cut style editing on most of my videos, rather than slow fades.
Wow, what a gorgeous card!
That’s a lovely card, Cathy😊
I want this die cutter Soooooo much. The second I saw it, I wanted it. I have so much trouble getting a good sandwich for my embossing.
I need one of these die cut machines💕wrist issues suck the fun out of die cutting for me & I cannot afford an electric machine but oh my gosh I would use the heck out of this ❤️🩵💜

I'm looking forward to using the new machine when it gets here!! Looks like just what us arthritis sufferers need and really everyone.
Love it😊

Such a pretty card and Gina is a genius variable press…YES!
Close To My Heart had had this machine out for a few years.
Yes, I did not know of other pressure adjustment machines, but know that they are out there too! :)
Yes not just other pressure machines but it looks to be the same exact machine with different branding.
I need to make a bunch of cards for my card group and this design is perfect!❤❤❤
I enjoy watching your videos! And I always get a good laugh too at the funny things you say! You are good for my soul! Can’t thank you enough Cathy!!!❤❤❤
Those snowflake colors are magical!❤
You are the most fun. I’m always so happy to see your recommendations and your own CZ designs with SSS. My crafty hero

The Bira (U.S.) looks like the same neat machine - a friend has had one for quite a while.

It depends. Sometimes I do!

Okay, I must confess I missed the music and you waving hi. 😂
Ohhhh! I only do that on my loves!!!😂
Your trays on the machine should be pushed in, right?
Yes, I was so new to it, I didn't know that part! lol
I think you are suppose to push in the panels, after you open them!
You are! hahah I didn't know that until watching Gina use the machine!

Hi! I’m trying to watch your video for the first time. It seems very “jumpy”. Are they all this way? Thank you!!
No! it sounds like your internet? Do you mean the video quality jumps around? Or the edits of the video. I do jump cut style editing on most of my videos, rather than slow fades.
@@czdesign ohhhh…. It’s your edits. Ok. Def not my internet. Thank you.!
Of course this would launch... right after I bought a new die cut machine 😑
I bet you have great machine too!
Gawgessness...are you supposed to click the fold downs in prior to use?????
Yes! I honestly did not know that!
