You know watching you bring the guitars to near perfection is great to watch but watching you rock the guitar is a sheer pleasure. You inspire me to play the guitar but you are unmatched at my house. You are so talented my friend so talented.

REALLY nice jam there, J-MAN! I can’t wait to see the new nut when it arrives, and to see how it compares to the old one! Something tells me the difference will IMMEDIATELY be apparent when you test and compare them!
@@zuperdee yeah will definitely change out this nut. However, I reworked the nut yesterday, and gigged the guitar last night and I had no tuning issues whatsoever😃
Great playing and tone!! I own a Slick SL60 and it sounds amazing. Super cool guitars though not made super well and will need some adjustments. You rock!
@j-man9457 Nice. Thank you for the information. I used a Tele body from guitar fetish a couple of years ago, and i built an amazing Tele partcaster. I had a high dollar roasted maple neck custom built by Musikcraft for it. Then i had some pickup customs built by Odezza handwound pickups out of Kansas. Man, what an amazing guitar it turned out to be. The neck is quarter sawn and has stainless steel frets. I had a special V neck shape. The frets are tall, narrow frets. Lot of money in it, but i enjoyed the project. I recently acquired a Peavey patriot guitar with the ferite pickups. I reworked it, and it came out nice. It is a 24 3/4 scale. Those Ferite pickups sound good. Hey man, i hope you have a good day.
Hey J, so all the graphite nuts I use all have a dull or satin like finish, No gloss. They also have a super slick feel when cutting them., so me thinks that is a plastic nut. Could be it slipped past QC or your guy may be mid informed. That said, sounds like he is willing to work with his customers, and maybe you’re gonna get a Whole Bunch of cool guitars to review.. And those pups are really great sounding! Last jam was way cool💪😎💥
@@guitarzan0515 thanks man... I don't think anything will change for me, but hopefully they check their offerings and maybe tighten up the QC to match their description...🤔

How does it compare to the Tostar P90? I bought one after looking at your vids and was amazed at the build quality.. they are 237 CAD now. Did you end up keeping yours?
@@WoahBoomshakalaka nope. Toastar is gone... I have to sell some to buy some hahaha! Toastar build quality is better, hardware is about the same, pickups on the Slick are way better... Well tele-esque speaking anyway haha!
@@sixstrings4568 Tostar is super light poplar. The frets are amazing at this price, let alone any high-end guitar. The electronics are decent but there is no twang if that's what you want. 240 for a P90 setup with a tune o matic is great.
