I recently had my first enlightening experience. Contrary to how I previously thought it would affect the waking mind, it has left my mind confused and distressed. Hearing these two converse about these topics in such a lighthearted manner is very comforting to me right now. Thank you.

That's great to hear, It helped me also, Check out Martin Ball, he talks about the ego and how it's realising it isn't your true nature but something we wear like a mask, just realise when the mask comes on.......Once you get to know anybody in the world you realise they are only human, however much you may dislike a person, they have true nature, however much you do not get on with them you will always see that nature from time to time even if it is in the smallest glimpses. remember that and be aware when your own mask comes on...

When he says that people interested in spiritually have not generally had science backgrounds is a modern thing. Many great scientists in the past like Pascal or Isaac Newton were very in spiritual people.

truth, and the wealthy and power addicted elites tried to erase and misconstrue that fact out of history itself. it never works though.

Whether the species falls apart or not, we cannot ascertain peace under that condition.
For true peace is not dependent on outward circumstances.
The dinosaurs supposedly were wiped out in an instant..
and so this can humble us to the finite nature of the mortal experience of a body-mind knowing our nature beyond all mortality as the unlimited immortal reality itself.

The dinosaurs were supposedly wiped out due to climate change, following the impact of a large piece of rock, I believe.

Everything that has a beginning has an end. What is it that is eternal and unchanging?

No it isn't. Humanity is a concept in you - ever free consciousness and therefore, isn't real in the first place. In other words we aren't sick or in peril, so we don't need to be saved.

Very interesting conversation. I googled both speakers. Two very interesting men. And they were very refreshing the way they delivered their talk with a sense of humour. Thanks gents!

Keep these videos coming! It's interesting that scientists are now exploring or at least looking for reality while most assume they already uncovered it.
May we all be safe, healthy and curious with our biologys lol

Rationality itself is merely a tool for interpreting experience, a finite tool with finite (but great) value.

Perhaps a way into the "trust" could be trusting that this pursuit is the best possible thing I can do for myself and for humanity. Then continue on this pursuit. And then other forms of trust develop as one is ready for them.
This was my way, perhaps others will be helped by it?
