    so so beautiful the part where, " the mother is not the ultimate lover of the child, it is the love in the mother, the consciousness, the Reality in the mother that loves the child... the physical mother was not our true mother, that our true mother is the universe. It is the only moment when we feel at home in the universe" ... exquisite!! Merci Francis

    In the Japanese language the mind is located in the heart not the head. Heart and mind share the same Chinese charater pronounced 'shin' and 'kokoro' . The movements of the heart are thoughts.

    Not sure the last question was answered adequately. Heart-space is so powerful. Needs to be addressed more carefully, but he did run out of time. But love how he spoke about the loving landscape, and our mother as the universe.

    People just can't get past physicality, which is mind stuff, and consciousness which is not anything physical in any way. Pretty good explanation here.

    • @No-oneInParticular

      And the irony is, we could argue that the "people" aspect isn't even physical itself. The whole illusion seems to be an identification with a mental process of imagining itself as only physical . . . Far out.

    Francis is so patient. Confused seekers using their minds and concepts to try a grasp, in their mind, what is infinite and not an object. I rarely watch science and non-duality videos as they are full of conceptual mind questioning. I spent an eternity there myself but no longer wish to listen to it. Everyone, other than Ramana and Tolle, have to go through it, but it is tedious. Francis remains so patient. Likely because there is very little left of the Francis ego.

    If the physical heart was the location from which love comes from it would mean that someone with an artificial heard wouldn’t be able to love. I doubt that it’s the case.

    • @JonasAnandaKristiansson

      The physical heart, is usually used as a metaphor of the heart of being.
      " it would mean that someone with an artificial heard wouldn’t be able to love. " This is a thought and an assumption. Logical deduction. Am not sure if you were aware of it when you wrote, but you certainly will be now brother.
      Doubt, is the mind as well.

      @@JonasAnandaKristiansson He used to example of an artificial heart to make the point. He then stated that he doubts someone with an artificial heart would be incapable of love. Obviously cos love has been proven to be in the brain. A concoction of neurotransmitters. One of them being dopamine. The main neurotransmitter released by cocaine. That's why taking cocaine makes you feel more loving. Temporarily

    • @No-oneInParticular
      @No-oneInParticular 4 роки тому +1

      @@TheSubpremeState careful here brother because, "love has been proven to be in the brain" is a very daring and risky game. If you are asserting that the physical is the basis of reality then it also has to be explained as to how consciousness is seemingly absolutely non-physical. What you are looking at when you look at the brain and see these chemical reactions may not be love, but a physical effect of love. Is the wind proven to be in the trees because we see the branches sway when it's windy?

    So much talk ABOUT consciousness, enlightenment or what have you but no amount of it will give us absolute answers. There is just too much talk and little if any on HOW to go about experiencing true awakening.

    • @GnosisMan50
      @GnosisMan50 3 роки тому

      @@simonaschmidt Yes, I heard that before many times. I believe there are higher levels of consciousness as Ken Wilber said but even monks who spend practically their entire lives with strict ascetic meditation and prayer have not reached the spiritual awakening they hope to realize. I'm assuming that's their objective. Otherwise, it would just be a waste of time. And even if they realize it, there is not enough people who are listening in order to make a transformational change in the world. Of all the things that depress me the most it is this: we have too many stupid people and they are dragging us all down. Spiritual teachers like Gangai, Adyashanti and Ekhart Tolle have a lot to offer but no matter how many times we listen to them, we are still confined within our ego. Is it possible to go beyond it besides countless hours of meditation? Some people have yet no one is asking why.

    Vedanta describes consciousness as real and eternal, Sat Chit Ananda, not created. It is ordinary, all-pervasive awareness and everything else, including the mind, is ever changing, and only apparently real--a projection if you will. Please invite James Swartz to your conference.

    The people asking questions are correct, relationship with God should be personal. There is one true source from which everything else comes. Us= souls. We are not God, we are individuals in his realm. If you don't develop that very personal relationship, you will find yourself ultimately very alone. There are many names of the Lord all of them personal. To ignore Him in favor of the impersonal is a suicide mission. This atheist is spewing poison. 😢

    Love is an anthropomorphic word. We are a living organism and we can mathematically predict on the number of Genes we share how willing we are to lay our life down for another organism. From the micro to the macro, you would lay your life down for 2 siblings(share 50% of our Genes x 2=100%, 4 half siblings, 8 cousins etc etc),this equates to all , that is our LOVE, a need to project our Genes forward like all organisms. we just like to have stories to make life feel more palatable , have a great day!!!!!

      Helena Rovan you get my point??? They are just subjective constructs, anthropomorphic stories, bacteria behave similarly,we all just want to survive long enough to procreate, we would not call that libido or love, have a great night, all my love!!!!!!!!!!!

      @@darren.davies3957 love is a product of evolution. Neurotransmitters cause us to love. There's evidence we love in a romantic way more strongly for 4 years after the birth of a child. This is coincidently long enough for the child to be able to look after himself to a greater level. So you need to be having babies every 3 years lol to stay together

      Epicurus _ obviously the more we learn about neurology the better, once upon a time Oxytocin seemed to be the love drug, but now we know better, I am of the opinion we are biological zombies, consciousness is antecedents of events that helps us navigate future events, the cut corpus callosum in split brains seems to back this up, we will create any story to make life seem more palatable, have a great day my friend!!!!!
