That bug you kill is actually beneficial and completely harmless to people. They kill other bugs and spiders and pretty much everything you don't want around. They are everywhere but usually go unseen. Don't kill them, just let them run and hide!
You may never see this, I know you did alot to get the exhaust out back next tires but it works really well when the exhaust drops off just past the Trans mount... it pushs the smoke out from under the car.. So maybe just cut it off after the Trans mount... A great way to mock up is On bare rims out back so you know your gunna be able to drive off pad on Rims!! Somehow glue or put a layer of heat wrap between the shields would also help for heat-soak

Those heater hose fittings you can pull out with a pair of pliers and tap them and put pipe plugs or just weld them closed
