My wife and I went to a npk event in maple grove a few years ago and had a blast got to meet chuck and daddy dave. Can’t wait to get back and do it again.

@@teknoaija1762 If they show the times it gives the cars still to run an advantage as they will know what the track surface will take. They don't prep the surface but there's still prep there from whatever has run in the days before and after a few runs it's giving all the grip (one of the reasons they do such long burnouts).
@@teknoaija1762 - The tracks are not dragged and sprayed before or during the races. However after one round of big tire cars you have effectively dragged the track and sprayed it out to about 300’. After that the tracks definitely can get a little sketchy.
Hey...I enjoyed the video. I am a race fan in general but I lacked an understanding of this particular sanction of racing. I feel more informed about the sanction now and can relate to some of the personalities better... having seen them interviewed. Thanks for sharing your video.
I stood in Larry Larson's pit when he put his Caddie on the 2 step. It literally made me ill from the noise level and blurred my vision! And ive been to an NHRA event and and stood next to a fuel car do a throttle wack and it wasnt as brutal! People underestimate NPK cars for sure, theyre wicked!
@@dakotaautosales9673 You can do a TF throttle whack with less Nitro and it won t be so violent.A blown high comp alky engine makes different kind of whack,it s louder and sharper with higher pitch.They are f´different and I believe these large Prochargers make a lot of noise that is different than Nitro noise.
I'm excited to see ol' Cleetus show up to one of these events in 'Eagle'. Here's to hoping we see Finnegan's slow-birthed Caddy moving under it's own power by then.

For sure most spectators don't really know or understand how quick and fast these guys really are. Numbers on the board would definitely draw spectators

@@DsteezyMedia- On an NP surface of course he would. A radial car couldn’t hook up. On a radial surface Eagle has the potential to be quicker and faster than the NPK cars.
That’s one of (if not the biggest) draw backs to running a screw blown car. If you do hurt the blower it is hellaciously expensive to repair/replace and it takes WAY longer to get the parts. If you break a Procharger most every racer has a backup or can borrow one from another racer and make the next round.

Murder said on TAPE he will tell you the numbers and then when asked,I won t tell you my best time.

Eagle won't ever be at one of these events... 1- he is on a radial so "small tire" 2- he doesn't need to attend these events to stay relevent...
