It just feels like Trabzonspor would be completely fine with this happening again. I get that this level of hatred between supporters is just a reflection of underlying tensions, but that's what football is usually so good at, letting people express their frustrations through their support and letting the players fight the actual battle on the pitch. @@ouzd.19 I mean, I don't doubt it, but this is about the club itself implicitly condoning it, you know the same people who are supposed to protect players and staff. They are in charge of making sure what happens in their stadium is a football match, not a riot.
Trabsonspor: *Gets into massive controversy* *gets angry about something that their fans caused* *constantly complains like children* *doesnt accept any responsibility for being stupid* *Complains some more* *the cycle repeats*
Well.... Trabzonspor would have won 2011-2012 season if it wasn't for match fixing by Fenerbahce officials. The Turkish FA decided to only hold the individuals involved responsible and not the club itself so Fenerbahce were allowed to keep their fraudulent championship. All chaos in the following years between FB and TS is a result of that. I'm not saying fans are right in invading the pitch or actions taken by board members of TS are correct, however there is a legitimate reason why TS and their fans deeply dislike FB. That is the injustice which started it all.

No, that's not what happened. In the match in question, it was just a young fan with a mask who jumped onto the pitch. He was also quickly overpowered by the security forces, there was no reason for fenerbahçe players to beat him up and kick him in the face. That initially led to chaos and then more fans jumped onto the pitch. That could have been avoided by the fenerbahce players by simply going back to the dressing rooms.
Wonderful video. Thanks. Very fairly eprepared. It covers almost all but three important issues you missed: 1- The announcement of the diciplinary commitee was awaited 13 days and left after the elections within the country 2- The CCTV cam recordings of the aisle to the locker room are deleted therefore not considered for the diciplinary actions. (There were a lot more happened there with respect to the statement of the players) 3- Many Fenerbahce supporters were wearing Fenerbahce jerseys while voting in order to show their reaction to the current regime- and their extensions. In addition, participation of 30,000/45,000 members is very big success (maybe no another club can make it out) since it was a very short notice, a week day especially Ramadan day (majority were fasting). It would worth to be emphasized more. There were many people coming to the assembly not only from several cities of Turkey, but also all around the world such as Europe, US, Australia, Central Asia, Far East etc...

And for a club to stand behind that is shameful
Just some more context: Trabzonspor is a proxy for Galatasaray, and they do their bidding. They are Galatasaray's backyard too, they give up their best players to GS, and when GS badly needs "points", they provide it too, without much hassle.
The average football fan is not very intelligent. You cannot reason with them, they will always feel like they are the victim and everyone else is the enemy. Justice will never feel like justice to them, it will always feel like injustice.
Ok I was very confused about the whole situation, because it seems pretty obvious who is at fault. Until you said at the end, that Fenerbace has said some things against Sultan Erdogan. That makes it pretty clear, what is going on.
Thank you for your video. TFF is highly corrupt. TFF, Galatasaray and Trabzonspor belong together and fight against Fenerbahce. Besiktas is rewarded with little things so that they stay quiet. Here are just a few cases out of many: Team bus with all FB players is shot at and nobody is punished. Trabzonspor fans storm the field and attack the players, some of them armed, nobody is punished. Several Fenerbahce players, including the coach, are attacked as they flee to the dressing room and beaten until they faint, video evidence has disappeared and nobody is punished. And that's not all....
There's no point in explaining what has happened without looking at the bigger picture which is "surprisingly" the politics of Erdogan & AKP who are trying to organize the league in their own terms since their reign began ___ Fenerbahce is a symbol of the secular "old" Turkey, and Erdogan doesn't like that. Just look at the Fenerbahce's total points in the last 15 years and compare them with GS and others. Funnily enough Fenerbahce has the most points but only 1 title ?? 6-7 years ago, again after another win at Trabzon the team bus was SHOT at on the highway with a rifle almost killing the driver along with all the players. I can count at least 10 events that are very similar to this one in the sense they all happened to Fenerbahce's title runs. So Fenerbahce's reaction is not based on this match alone. This match made this "unfair" competition just too obvious and that is the main reason for Fenerbahce's reaction. Just check out the highlights of the game to see how did it get to that end point. Oh btw did I mention bothTrabzon and Galata's favorite political party is AKP. hmmm 🤔
Very good analyses. Fenerbahce president supported the protests against AKP during gezi park event. After that akp target him and try to manipulate the league against fenerbahce. For example if Başakşehir is the club pushing for the champion , then they support that team. Imagine a club has been champion and then can’t even compete for following years.
@@Joedaltonisthebestone I think the the separation of Fenerbahce from the Turkish league started way earlier than Gezi protests. In the mid to Late 90's early 2000's when the FETÖ organization were at their peak. During that time they were able to break into all the other major clubs. 90 percent of Galatasaray's squad were active members. And following Galatasaray, in Beşiktaş Y. Demirören was appointed as the president of the club in 2004 (just before his home run to buy all of the secular media outlets to support Erdoğan and AKP). So Fenerbahce back then (and I'm honored to say still) was the only unpenetrable club due to its strong bond with secular side of Turkey and Atatürk. After these failed attempts slowly the league began to take the form of Fenerbahce against everyone since whoever was in a competition against Fenerbahce for the title they were backed up by "unseen" forces while Fenerbahce was tagged as the losers of these title runs. What happened in Trabzon happened almost 5-6 times in the last 20 years whenever it was "necessary".
Another word for Trabzonspor. Trabzon (the city) has been a breeding ground for extreme nationalists and deep government actors (counter-guerilla people) since the early days of Republic, due to its unique position as the official capital of Pontus- Greek kingdom. (there are still old villages where people speak a mixture of turkish and greek and no-one would like to remind this fact to the locals especially in the early days of Nation-State building). Turkish nationalism has always been high on paranoia and because of this paranoia (like most other nationalists in other countries) Trabzon became almost like a "barracks" for deep government actors whom did their parts whenever the situation needed them and not just in football but in other areas as well. And they were always pardoned for whatever they did. I was hoping that the lad who did the video would also mention the "bus shooting incident" that happened 7-8 years ago ( ua-cam.com/video/3p8cEHU6cuo/v-deo.html ) which surprisingly right during another title run and a win against Trabzonspor on their home ground. No-one got arrested. (here you can watch how the suspects were treated: ua-cam.com/video/HwrbdoweBzI/v-deo.html ) Whole Fenerbahce team was devastated and with that morale Fenerbahce "surprisingly" lost another title run.
The people who attacked, none of them were local, they’ve all came from Europe… the saddest of all is that trabzons president didn’t even condemn the attackers…

And things were exceptionally peaceful during all of Fenerbahçe's matches in Conference League. So I'd say when it comes to Turkish teams, our track record in Europe has been fairly clean for the past 5-10 years. Hey man, I subbed over a year ago when my club (PSG) was playing yours (2022). I’ve loved the info based content with what seems overall unbiased by your personal opinions. That being said, I’d love to hear your opinion of clubs like PSG and City. While they have certainly spent huge sums over the years that they may/may not have earned, it’s in comparison to clubs that had (in my opinion) had already made football uncompetitive (RM, Bayern, Barca, etc). I’m especially curious about this considering Newcastles acquisition combined with similar lack of competition in the premiership (City vs Liverpool every year). Thanks for the content man! Allez PARIS since 2009
nobody likes psg, city, leipzig or any of the oil brands or fizzy drinks brands. the difference with barca, bayern etc is that they earned respect the old fashioned way
I suppose it all depends whether you are comfortable with your club being a PR exercise for a regime with a terrible human rights record. Newcastle, Man City and PSG fans all seem pretty comfortable with being funded by blood money.
Trabzon is almost twice as far from Istanbul as either Sofia or Thessaloniki - How much of a possibility is there of Fener joining the Bulgarian or Greek top flights if they go through with this resignation?

This is completely insincere and hypocritical. Trabzon and Galatasaray sides... They can only tweet, they cannot take action. About a week after the announcement of the penalties, the football federation's delegates began collecting signatures for an extraordinary session. The aim was to change the federation with an early election. Guess which teams did not participate in this action, which was signed by almost half of the teams in the leagues? Trabzon and Gala.. In fact, Gala recently made statements supporting the federation, and they change their statements every month. Unfortunately, like the federation management and some teams, these two teams are under the control of political will. This creates an unfair competitive order.
but let's be real here: Nobody at Trabzon is delusional enough to believe their own complaint, right? They cant argue "They kicked our fans" when THEY STARTED.
trabzonspor's punishment has just been reduced to 4 home games ban + 448k try (14k usd) couple of hours ago. fenerbahçe's appeal for egribayat and osterwolde was rejected.
The funny thing is that gala and trabzon always talking about tff president but when it was time to vote they voted for the current president and fener Besiktas and many other teams from the league voted against interesting right 😂
Deluded people are trying to make Trabzonspor look pathetic but only know a fraction about what is going on. First since when is it normal to kick on the head when he is held down by the guards especially when you are a pro football player. Also everyone knows how hostile it is between the 2 clubs especially since 2010/11 when Fenerbahçe became champion champions with match fixing and stole Trabzonspors championship. Knowing all of this while there is many more examples like back to 90's, the players of Fenerbahçe were mocking the fans and talking shit the whole match and then labeling our fans as terrorists when in 2012 fener fans burned police cars and also attacked the police directly. Who is the terrorist again? Oh and also a few days ago a group of Fenerbahçe fans attacked a father and daughter because they support galatasaray. And even one of them pulled out a knife! While all comentators and media outlets said that the Trabzonspor fans were storming the field with knifes and stuff when there actually us no one with any knife. Fenerbahçe is a club that accepts injustice as its own right.
I also do not like the racial aspect of this event, as it’s the Black players who are taking the brunt of the drama, as if they’re supposed to simply let the attacking fans have their way with them.
People here seem to forget that fenerbahce stole a championship from Trabzon in 2010/11 via match fixing for which fener got banned from CL and EL for 2 years, by the UEFA. fener never got a penalty from the turkish football association , in the contrary they even said that fener is innocent, whilst the UEFA pushed the turkish football association to be judged accordingly. There are many other reasons why fener is hated in turkish football, as a spectator of all big leagues, there is no comparison to the things fener did and done. - since Galatasaray won the 4th star, fener either comes with no stars on their jerseys (officially they have 3) or they wear jerseys with 5 stars (they even made a request to the association to count their championships from the middle ages [before the super league was created] so they can wear 5 stars officially - as said they still have the stolen trophy of trabzon and are not ashamed - they did match fixing - their president is the spoiled son of of the richest turkish family - they constantly accuse others of being terrorists (FETÖ) supporters and mix politica into sports - they tried to prevent Galatasarays championship in 2012 with a out of nothing system like in belgium, where the top4 play a super final, they introduced this when Gala had secured the championship late in the season - after Galas victory in the UEFA league in 2000, there former president said "we cant reach Galas level anymore, so we should try to pull them down to ours" That is not even everything, just watch feners games for 2-3 weeks and you will understand. Fener is the least one, that has the right to cry, yet the cry the loudest and added another scandal to their list.
Eventually all attackers (trabzonspor fans) were released from custody. And trabzonspor and galatasaray are the only two teams, sorry two of the three teams (the third being başakşehir, owned by a relative of Erdoğan), who did not sign a manifesto that invited TFF to immediate resignation 😂
The main problem is that the fenerbahce president is corrupt and he has corrupted the turkish league thats all. he has the federation pressured and gets his way most times, fenerbahce players literally assaulted civilians that were apprehended by security, they received no punishment. This season fenerbahce had even more help from the federation than 2010-11 season, when they were found guilty of match fixing on several counts and banned from european competitions. I hope a FIFA investigation happens for this season, nice video overall.
Bit off topic, sorry but 2 video requests: 1) Amorim x LFC - what LFC could expect 2) PL title race, 3 sections: - why LFC will win the PL - why Arsenal will win the PL - why City will win the league
Fenerbahçe intention was never to withdraw the team from the league. As always, they bluffed and threatened in order to exert pressure on the Turkish football association and thus to avoid the disciplinary measures. They have used this means of pressure dozens of times in the past. And they have always been successful, as they are now. The match-fixing scandal of 2010-2011 showed just how unfair this football association is. Although UEFA CAS banned fenebahçe from European tournaments for 2 years due to matchfixing, the fenerbahçe football team was not fined by the Turkish Football Association. There is a lot of political calculation behind this, also with regard to the elections, as fenerbahçe also has many fans in Turkey. And Ali Koç, the president of fenerbahçe, is one of the richest businessmen in Turkey, with a lot of influence on politics and the media landscape. It should therefore come as no surprise how unfairly decisions are made in Turkish football. The rich and influential Istanbul clubs are always favoured, so it is all the more ridiculous when this club writes "Fair Competition" on the pitch at the last match.
@@HasanM1907 Well, then you have to ask why Fenerbahçe is listed in the UEFA match-fixing list for season 2010-2011. Why wasn't FB in the Champions League when they were champions? Why was Trabzonspor invited to the Champions League instead?
@@ouzd.19 The whole match-fixing scandal you love to talk about is pointless as everyone has been acquitted from the case. Remind me again, why did TS play a playoff fixture against Benfica in that same year and lost?
Trabzon is not bitching about their own punishments.. they expected way worse and wouldn't complain if they got bigger punishments. What happened is that TFF couldn't dare to punish fenerbahce players.. especially while fenerbahce is constantly crying rivers, no matter what happens. They won at least 20 points this season by clear, 100% sure unfair decisions by referees. At this point with such a strong man as their manager, tff is pretty much owned by fenerbahce. But still they are nonstop saying that everyone in Turkey is against them. Accusing galarasaray being a terrorist organisation, a branch of FETÖ.. Anyway, because TFF couldn't punish fenerbahce players, they also gave a small punishment to Trabzon. Fenerbahce threatened again, about if their players get punished x,y,z will happen. And they demanded heaviest possible punishment for trabzon. In the end The punishment given to Trabzon is despite being small, is applied. Fenerbahce's punishment however didn't really do anything. All of these things are not even 1% of the story. You seem to be making these videos either without enough research.. ( which is hard I know.. someone needs to explain chronologically ) or you are sponsored by fenerbahce to narrate however they want things to be seen internationally. You aren't even close to what is going on and even a fenerbahce fan would say that, thinking you are too mild with your approach. Both reality and fenerbahce's fantasy world are quite far from where you are landed here..
Fenerbahçe shoudln't even have recieved punishment. They were DEFENDING themselves from people who stormed the pitch in order to HURT them. I don't care what they did back in whatever year they did it in, they were attacked and reacted. When you are being attacked do you just let them injure you? Or do you try to defend yourself? Any normal person who looks at these scenes will tell you that what their players did was self-defense. I don't know why you wrote your comment and I don't really care. Except it's a stupid comment so I do care. Why would he be sponsored by Fenerbahçe to fit the narrative they are trying to set? Did we watch the same video? Because for me personally, I just watched a random guy, I didn't know, talk about events that are very hard to stay neutral on in the most neutral way possible. And now you are trying to critize him for making a well-researched, highly informative good video, because it doesn't fit your narrative. Fenerbahçe is in the right here no matte from where you look at it and then to complain about them not recieving "enough" punishment is a very stupid L-move by Trabzonspor. A 6-Game stadium ban is by far not enough for trying to injure people. If you can't see that you are just blinded by emotions. Have a great day.
Long story short. We call Trabzonspor in Turkey the little brother of Gaylatasaray. When you look to the table you see, only 2 points are between those 2 teams and Trabzonspor was only team to beat Fenerbahce this year. This Trabzons bstrds, played for Gaylatasaray, to make them champions, thats the whole thing but they would never say that. It all was organized, the masked man werent controlled by the security means even the state or the gouverneur was involved in this. They see Fenerbahce and their President as a threat to their AKP dynasty but surprise. After the election lose somethings may change, they re trying to get more fair and since this week we have foreign VAR refrees from the top 5 leagues. I hope they will stop now hating on Fenerbahce only for the reason they are mostly supporting the Opposition in Turkey and Gaylatasaray and Trabzonspor or Basaksehir are good in licking azzez of the ruling party and gouvernment. Well.... Trabzonspor would have won 2011-2012 season if it wasn't for match fixing by Fenerbahce officials. 3- Many Fenerbahce supporters were wearing Fenerbahce jerseys while voting in order to show their reaction to the current regime- and their extensions.
In addition, participation of 30,000/45,000 members is very big success (maybe no another club can make it out) since it was a very short notice, a week day especially Ramadan day (majority were fasting).
It means “down with your justice”, not “fuck your justice”.

This is completely insincere and hypocritical. Trabzon and Galatasaray sides... They can only tweet, they cannot take action. About a week after the announcement of the penalties, the football federation's delegates began collecting signatures for an extraordinary session. Trabzonspor has no shame
- since Galatasaray won the 4th star, fener either comes with no stars on their jerseys (officially they have 3) or they wear jerseys with 5 stars (they even made a request to the association to count their championships from the middle ages [before the super league was created] so they can wear 5 stars officially
- as said they still have the stolen trophy of trabzon and are not ashamed
- they did match fixing
- their president is the spoiled son of of the richest turkish family
- they constantly accuse others of being terrorists (FETÖ) supporters and mix politica into sports
- they tried to prevent Galatasarays championship in 2012 with a out of nothing system like in belgium, where the top4 play a super final, they introduced this when Gala had secured the championship late in the season
- after Galas victory in the UEFA league in 2000, there former president said "we cant reach Galas level anymore, so we should try to pull them down to ours"
That is not even everything, just watch feners games for 2-3 weeks and you will understand.
Just relegate both the teams problem solved but that will never happen
wht the f both?
The main problem is that the fenerbahce president is corrupt and he has corrupted the turkish league thats all. he has the federation pressured and gets his way most times, fenerbahce players literally assaulted civilians that were apprehended by security, they received no punishment. This season fenerbahce had even more help from the federation than 2010-11 season, when they were found guilty of match fixing on several counts and banned from european competitions. I hope a FIFA investigation happens for this season, nice video overall.

Have a great day.
as A Fenerbahçe hater... i would really like them to play at a lower league...
Decision: Fenerbahçe leads 5-0 in all it’s matches played and unplayed this Year!😉
Long story short. They are a shame for football and in my oppinion UEFA should bann these both teams for beeing so unfair towards Fenerbahce since 20 years.
