Hi, Vidya, I just stumbled upon your video while searching for what to pack for our first flight with our 5 months old son. I have to say your video was the best and most informative and useful one I came across. Believe me while I say that I have watched hundreds of videos. I hope to take most of your ideas while traveling next week. Fingers crossed it works.
I also wanted to tell you that my husband who doesn’t approve me for watching too many videos and getting confused really liked this video and said it’s good that I watched too many that I found the “ONe”
Forgot to thank you for the video.
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment, it means a lot to me! I hope you find my other videos useful as well. Do let me know if there's something specific you'd like to watch. :) Enjoy your trip!
Feel good mama : Thank you for replying, keep up the good work, you are doing great. Your videos are informative, and to the point . You do look very pretty as well thank you for your wishes. I hope I could go and come back unscathed...

Aww thank you so much, we were traveling recently and I was caught up with getting Vikrant settled in, now back to making videos again :)
Hi Vidya, thanks for sharing a very useful video :) How did you pack the homemade food for your baby (in a clear container or in a bag)? We have a 22 hour flight journey as well?
Di very very useful vedio.
Thank you
Hi Vidya. Thank you so much for sharing such helpful information. Can you please make a video on baby gear as well..especially tricycles and bicycles. Because I am mom to 1 year old kid. We are looking few but couldn’t find the better ones. So if you can make a video it could help us to get the better products.
Looking forward to seeing your video..
Will do! In short, we used radioflyer 3 in 1 (or 4 in 1, not sure) tricycle at around 1 year, micro scooter around 2 years, and strider balance bike around 3. He absolutely loves all of them!
Very usefull video Dear
Thanks :)
Hello very helpful video what vaccines are needed before travelling to India for a 10 month old ?
Can u do a checklist kind of with whatever u said in the description..
Also can I carry boil water in thermoflask for preparing FM??
Hi Vidya,
I'm in India, expecting a child by end of this Oct.
I've been looking at all your videos. Very informative and helpful.
I wanted to express my concern that I am unable to find good diaper bags online, the link that you provide is not available in India now. Kindly let me know if there are other suggestions as well.
This is going to help me a lot ..i am also going on loong flight with my 15 month old twins ..anything else you want to suggest 🙂
Very nice video..All the best
Hi Vidya- I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for making them. Can you share in USA what diapers you have tried ( pampers, huggies, honest) , whats your diaper change routine/creams, diaper rash creams and what brands you like from newbron to toddler stage in a video- It would be very helpful for us people who have no clue what to expect ;)
Good suggestions, thanks! In short I tried them all but settled with Bambo Nature diapers (found on amazon) and coconut oil for diaper rash, Buttpaste occasionally.
Fantastic .. I stumbled upon this video as I was searching for recommendations on diaper bags for mothers. A couple new things I learnt from here (never knew about indestructible books: my highlight of the video). Thanks again. Could u do a video on reading books to the baby and general learning toys for skill development? Thanks.
Vipula Sikri thanks, reading for babies is my favorite topic, I’m waiting to make that video. You must be in your third trimester now, all the best!
Feel good mama yes indeed. I m waiting for that video. Also have u done any video on how to massage the baby?
I have a skincare video if you are interested, I don't follow a particular technique for massage, I just rub him gently with oil before bath, and in the end stretch his arms and legs gently a few times.
How did u reheat the homemade food? Or is it ok to give the baby food that’s become cold during a long flight? Thanku
Hey, this video is very useful. I will b traveling tomorrow with my 8 month lo for a 15 hour journey. Would you like to give me some extra advice apart from given in the video? Wish me luck , m bit nervous 😐🙄
Hey I have a 10 month old baby and we are planning to stay in Dubai for 3 nights and it’s a service apartment so I will be able to cook so how can I carry home made food powders for baby in check in luggage? In ziploc or containers
Hi, Can you please tell me what type of clothes are more comfortable for babies during flight travel. I have an eight-month-old and we are going to travel NZ to India for the first time with the baby. Your tips are very useful and the way you explains is really good.
I dress my toddler in layers when we travel. Will make another video about traveling with kids, but flights can be chilly, so I put him in a t shirt and another long sleeved shirt, and kept a hooded sweatshirt in my bag in case it gets colder. Also comfortable (not tight) socks and a light blanket.
Hey my baby girl is 6 months now
Could you please make a video on, what to carry for a long journey through car
As we live in india its bit hard to get the tuff which are available in foreign countries .....
Thank you, I will try to make one!
Hello vidya ma'am, all the videos of yours are very useful, I have been watching since I got pregnant, now my boy is 7.5 months old. Please continue making such useful videos.
God bless. ❤️
Thank you so much for writing!
Hi mam, Thanks for your experience sharing video.. it will helpful for all of us. I have one small doubt shall i carry fruits like Apple Orange pomegranate for my baby.
I like small oranges/ bananas for traveling because they are easy to peel and serve to a toddler. Apples need to be washed and cut which can be messy, but you can carry any fruit your child likes.
Please make new video covering toddler diaper bag
Toys to carry while traveling
please give us links where you buy products.
Subhasree Dash will do, thanks. Have you seen my baby essentials videos, lots of info over there too.

Hi Vidya, can u make a video about practices that actually work to make sure the baby's head is round from day 1..how can I privately msg u.. u see my newborns head is round at the back due to the coiled ring type cotton cloth pillow that we've placed her on since her first week..but the front of her head seems to be jutting up ..
Fatima Aslam hey, in my case, his head was pointy at the back, the doctor told me not to worry and it will get rounded once he starts rolling about, I think tummy time helps too... Some people do massage also, but for Vikrant it got rounded on its own in a few months... You can reach me at vidya.feelgoodmama@gmail.com
Very helpful videos👍pls mention d products where to buy
Thank you, I've added the links to some of the products I've mentioned. Let me know if you want any additional info
Mam from where you bought these ziplock bag
Can you please make a video on your experience traveling to India with US born baby? Did you do anything different? What precautions to take etc? I know every baby is different but just wanted to know.
Yes, thats an excellent suggestion, thanks, will make a video on that.
Hi vidhya, i am planning to go dubai this month with my 6 month old baby. Your zip lock bags idea seems to be very nice.can i know how big is that and where to buy?
You get them at any grocery store, try a couple of sizes.
Hi for the baby the total baggage is 10kg along with this diaper bag
Depends on the airline.
nice channel..keep it up
Thank you
welcome...
Hlo sis where u bought this diaper bag ?pls tell the rate of this bag i need large capacity bag pls tell me sis im the new subscriber 😊
This is my 3 time watching your videos for every time we travel LOL I just blank out when I start packing for my now 2 babies. 2 yr old and 10 month old
Haha I know the feeling, traveling with kids especially during these times is a whole another ordeal ;)
first one :-)
yay thanks dear!
Thank you for sharing your experience and tips. May I know which airlines you traveled, I didn't know that we can take a feeding pillow. I will be travelling with my 9 month old soon via emirates. Do they allow boiled water in a flask for the baby just in case I need to give her formula.
Navya Cherukuru hey what are the vaccines given to your 9 month old because mine will be 9 month when we go to India in two weeks
@@nikhilaungs4036 Our pediatrician recommended flu and measles and that's what we did. It's better to discuss with your pediatrician.
Navya Cherukuru okay she already got her flu so I did my research and figured she might only need MMR / measles .. I just want to make sure because my baby's pediatrician wasn't sure what to give im afried she might give vaccines that aren't necessary but are still recommended on CDC website but just to have a knowlege it wouldn't hurt right lol 😂 Thank you
You sound so like Deepika Padukone😊
;) Wish I looked like her too!
Ha ha the way more beautiful than Deepika padukone @ Feel Good Mama vidhya
Really good tips for traveling. I’m looking forward to my first trip with a 10 month old. Do you carry separate bowls to feed the cereal you carry on the plane? Any suggestions for bottle feeding? (Is it possible for washing the bottle?)
I did not carry baby cereal, but if you do, you can carry a bowl with a lid. Washing the bottles is not practical because we don't know how clean the water is, and you can't sterilize them. So carry extra bottles for sure. You can even try disposable formula bottles like these if you like www.enfamil.com/products/enfamil-neuropro-infant/2-fl-oz-ready-to-use-bottles?gclid=CjwKCAjw9sreBRBAEiwARroYm3ZXe_NFoB0sPtAHXaBpf_Zpo-SfHooSjDi2X6abOEvl57CKjcKGlRoCLGEQAvD_BwE
Hello traveling soon with my kids, can I bring cook food for my 3 years old ,it's a long haul flight, international USA to Philippines.
Is any fruit allowed for international flight? Thanku
Sarah Shaw I have taken blueberries and oranges without any problem. I think it is fine if you consume them on the flight, and not bringing into the other country.
Her voice and accent is exactly like deepika padukone !!!
Haha I've heard this before too, wish I weighed as much as her though ;)
So we can take a carry on suitcase and another bag to be with us ? Does it have to be a certain size? Like a back pack or something? I’ll be flying to Hawaii & my son will be 1 by then but I have no idea what I can and cannot take with me on board 😭
Yes I took a pretty big diaper bag, a backpack would be perfect for baby stuff. Have fun in Hawaii. Baby food and milk/formula is allowed on the flights, just not plain water!

Feel good mama shoot, do they provide water just in case? Because I use powder formula ):
Yes they can even warm it up for you.
San Francisco airport allowed me to bring distilled water ,they allow u to bring water for formula if u have a baby with u .. base on my experience , now.im travelling with two kids alone again😊
hey Vidya.. where did u get the disposable changing mats, I couldn't find any online in India:( also, have u considered baby bagpacks instead of shoulder bags?? cuz I had a hard time traveling alone with my toddler even tho it was just a 3 hour flight, the time at the airport called for heavy bag packing similar to urs(just had to pack lesser snacks) n on the shoulder it was honestly very annoying.. heavy bag n carrying toddler on another shoulder carrying him all around the airport:( I did not take along my baby carrier, cuz 1. he's too heavy for me to carry him for too long n 2. I'm expecting my 2nd one soon..
I've singled this one out once I have a new born..esp for airport travel.. whether I'm traveling alone with the kids or there's someone to help out..www.amazon.in/gp/aw/d/B01D1H075G/ref=ox_sc_act_image_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2HMI7SWOD3E9N#LUXAddressSelector_1498870830115
Firstly congratulations! When are you due? Thats a pretty bag, yes I think a backpack would be better while traveling alone. If I buy another bag when he's slightly older, I think I'll go with a backpack as well.
These changing pads look similar: www.amazon.in/Large-Disposable-Baby-Changing-Mats/dp/B00EPIP9F4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1499815885&sr=8-2&keywords=disposable+changing+mat
It's really useful video for me right now 😊I have 5 months old baby .. planning to go to India next month. Do we need to request them a bassinet right on the flight or while booking the tickets ??
Sowbagya S P request the bassinet right when you book your tickets. It might already be booked so just be aware of that.
@@KDB21 oh!! Then Will do that first 👍 Thanks for the response 😊
Sowbagya S P you’re welcome! I’m flying with a 4 month old soon and a friend told me to book the bassinet ASAP. Sadly it’s all booked up!
@@KDB21 OMG 🙄 😔 let's see how will my trip be!?!? Have to book soon it seems 🤔
Sowbagya S P yes. Book as soon as you can. Those bassinets go quickly it seems. I’ll bring my nursing pillow so my son can sleep in my arms on it since we didn’t get lucky to use a bassinet.
Hii... Did you manage everything alone, baby, check in bag and diaper bag.. Please give me some idea how I will handle everything alone. I am going to travel soon with my 18 month toddler alone.. Please give me some idea
My mom was traveling with me so I had help. Traveling alone is not easy but take help from the flight attendants whenever you can. Try to book a seat in the front so that you'll have more space. Take lots of snacks and pack in a way that everything is easily accessible. You'll be fine, good luck!
Feel good mama thank you
please do a video on diapers for new born
dhivya pari thanks for the idea, will do 👍
Hi vidya! have u travelled by Air India? If yes, what suggestions comments do u have to be aware of.
Also please do share what sort of nursing cover or clothes u wore to breastfeed easily. Thanks !
Haven't travelled air india with baby, I used a large scarf, and wore 2 tops during the flight. It is called the 2 t shirt method, that worked best for me.
Thank you for your reply :)
Mam thank u for this video ,wats ur opinion on resuable diaper..can u plz explain on it.
I used them very rarely, they are good but need some maintenance.
Feel good mama thank u mam
Hi Vidya..I will be traveling to India on April with my 5 months old boy who drinks more formula than the Brest milk, have a question to you how did you face the airport security?? I will have to carry sterilised water to the baby, will they allow enough water?? Please reply when you get free time
They did not let me carry water to and from the US. During layovers they were ok with it. But I have heard of people buying bottled water after security and asking them to heat it for you on the flight. Then allow it to cool a little and mix formula. Or better yet, take pre mixed formula bottles. They allow those on the plane, and they are much easier to use.
@@Feelgoodmama Thank you😍
You can put the camera far away , so that the bag also can be seen..
Joice Steffi I know rookie mistake, will do next time!
Feel good mama that's so nice of you.. Love ur voice
Hi Vidhya, hope you and Vikrant are doing good.. Came across this video on wet wipes today. instagram.com/tv/Byz6O31ni05/?igshid=jr6wpa9ryk30
Please check for the ingredients before
you choose wet wipes .
Take care :)
Thank you for sharing that, very eye opening!
Feel good mama Welcome dear :) Take care.. Convey my love for Vikrant :-* ..
They are way too many diapers to pack, just my opinion.
Razrai 2014 younger babies need more diapers, and ours was a very long flight. I had to pack enough in case our flight got delayed at the layover. As he gets older I'll need less.
Feel good mama I agree. Most moms who made youtube vids regarding travelling with infants/children, they recommend 1 diaper per hour.
