2 years later and this video helped me install my safety selector while I was watching your Geissele SD-E video and realized my stock PSA safety is just round and not notched lol, was great to knock both of those things out with the same helpful instructions. Awesome videos man much appreciated I am a visual learner, so detailed visual instructions help me fully understand what is going on and how to do things
THANK YOU! You explained what Radian DID NOT. They say, "Insert the spring-loaded retention stud into the hole..." but don't specify the proper direction nor the assembly of the spring onto the stud. You explained it perfectly while providing an up-close visual - THANK YOU!
After watching it 10 times going outside and taking a few puffs from the peace pipe. I finally got it but I couldn’t understand anybody else is so good job.
Man thank you so much. You by far explained the radian talon installation better than any other content maker. You made a notice look like a pro. It literally took me about 5 minutes longer than this video again I can’t thank you enough. Thanks a million for the easy to install video
Thanks man! Glad this helped! 🙏🏽 yeah there is a few install videos that left me slightly confused as well! I have other install videos on my channel! Feel free to take a look! Have a great day!
Thanks for that feedback! Means a lot! I have other install and review videos on my channel! Check them out, I would really appreciate your subscribe! Thanks again! 🙏🏽
Not even Radians instruction information came close to providing clear install as your effort did. Radian should compensate you for helping them complete the experience. Kudos brother.
Don’t typically comment on videos but this tutorial was fantastic! Thank you for putting it together. I got lucky unlike some other people in the comments and this was the first video I clicked on.
Music at the end is 100 percent Vegita's theme song in Legacy of Goku 2 on Gameboy Advance. Took me back to my childhood when I played the heck out of that game!!!!
Wow! I’m glad someone actually finally noticed haha yes the American soundtrack to the DBZ series was what made the anime so much better in dub. The orchestrator for the DBZ soundtrack was Bruce Falconer. Made vegetas theme dope!!
Thank you so much for this! Great instructional video and easy to follow. I was able to install mine while watching your vid and had no issues- new safety works like a charm!
Big thanks for making this video, went in pretty smoothly once I figured out I had to tap the roll pin out the stock Spear LT ambi safety. The Radian 45* ambi is so much better than the stock 90* ambi.
Hey man I found your video just for selector switches in general just to give me some confidence in switching mine to an ambi I got from a different manufacturer. Big ups Dude for the well done video and wish I could like it twice for the DBZ outro music 👌🏽👌🏽
I can’t believe there’s a 10min long video for this. Could have been shortened up to 1 min easy. I am so surprised UA-cam hasn’t taken this down since it’s against the guidelines lol
Thank you! Feel free to subscribe to my channel! I have other install videos and reviews you might find helpful as well! I would really appreciate it! Thank you! 💯
I had a lot of trouble with the pin that holds the lever in place. That is to say the piece that you move with your finger to select safety or semi. I couldn't get that pin to go flat so I could slide the lever over it. Not even with a flat head screwdriver. I cut out a couple of rings from the spring. Then I was able to get it to go down. It still had plenty of tension to keep the lever in place. I've used the rifle several times since and the lever has stayed on securely.
Really good.. very helpful. Thanks. That was the kind of detail I needed. The 🥁 joke made me laugh several times as I needed to rewind it a few times. Thanks.
Hey bro great job. Appreciate the tutorial. I don't have the ambi I bought the one for normal people (righty only). Works great. My lever is shorter than my old one so it will takesome getting used. Stay safe and thanks! 🤘
Great! I know you will enjoy it! And yeah I’ve been reminded probably 20 times in the comments about the correct term lol 😂 I’ve been reminded so much that I will never call it a missle ever again haha! Thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it!
Great, concise video. As a 'wrong side shooter', it looks like the Radian 45 degree selector, would still be out of the way on my trigger side, even using the Medium levers. What say you?
Great video, the missile thing is called a ‘detent’. I came here because I just bought that safety and haven’t installed yet but I don’t like the way yours was indexed so I’m going to take it back and get a different one.
Did you understand what he meant? The internet is filled with geniuses such as yourself. The video was helpful to a lot of people that thought it was ok and even pretty funny that he called it a missile. Now he knows its called a detent. He learned something. So should you.
@@paulyp9853idk who you're referring to but as far as "learning something" I NORMALLY do that BEFORE I get myself involved in something (firearms in this case). If you're looking at UA-cam videos to learn anything but suggestions you probably shouldn't start investing your time into something that's made to do one thing, I'm sorry a few things, to kill, maim and or destroy. I guess you're just one of those guys that likes to learn stuff the hard way, on his own as opposed to learning by others mistakes because all it takes is one mistake with a firearm to put you on the underside of the grass
stupid question could the bigger selector be put on the right side of the gun for a left handed shooter, ( the opposite of the way in this video? or is the stubby selector only meant for the right side of the gun?
Good question! And yes, the selectors are versatile for either side. It’s all based on preference some like the shorter one on the left side some like the shorter one on the right side it’s whatever feels best for your set up and your hands.! Thanks for the response!
The 45° safety was a good invention makes manipulation just that much more faster. You just have to get used to knowing it understanding and feeling that that safety selector is indeed in the safe position and firing position when attended to be. the thing with the 90° is you know exactly what position it’s in because it’s a much longer throw so you know for sure more confident it’s on safe or it’s on fire. so just train and practice with the 45, really get used to it under pressure and understand it’s a much shorter throw so understand exactly when you’re on safe and when you’re on fire and you’ll be just fine fine.
Awesome just tried this on my bcm lower with a Geissele trigger installed and it doesn’t work. Edited : it does work but need a punch set to hit it in. Be careful with aftermarket triggers when installing this, some of them may not work.
The "missile" is called the selector detent. There are also detents for the takedown pins.
Thanks for that! Appreciate it!
They changed it it’s the missile now
Ya but missile sounds so much cooler

Great, concise video. As a 'wrong side shooter', it looks like the Radian 45 degree selector, would still be out of the way on my trigger side, even using the Medium levers. What say you?
