- OMG this is one of the coolest videos ive made! This epoxy resin chameleon skull is simply bad ass!! I thoroughly enjoyed making this skull but when I unmoulded it, I did not think it would come out THIS good! It does take a fair bit of resin for such a small thing, but when u hold it in ur hand, u completely forget about that, plus, u can keep it forever! I used the let’s resin chameleon powders but I found the best way to get control over the amount of colour was by turning the moulds inside out, brush on powder and the turn of right side in before pouring in resin. Btw I love ur videos so much. I’m learning so much about resin that I didn’t no before xx
This is my favourite mould too. I use deep pour resin so do it in one pour 😊

When I use the let’s resin chameleon powder I use spray mold release to help it stick to the mold.
I think it works better with the flakes not covering it completely. A gorgeous piece
I’ve used the same skull mould many times and always do just one pour. Never had an issue with it

The skull is my favourite so far! But I do collect skull things lol You can also use nail chrome powders - I saw a woman do this skull with holo pink nail chrome looked amazing. Those chameleon flakes were insane the amount of colours coming from them!

Try it with a white backing
You went missing in amongst the lower subs I have. They are stunning especially the skull. I have a set of star coasters to do but waiting for it to warm up as heating not sorted yet
Beautiful skull I think I would have done it in clear so the flakes would show through, but you do an awesome job
Why not use a filler to reduce the amount of resin in your skull. Like maybe plaster or sand. Or you could do your fist layer glue in styrofoam ball and then add the rest of your layers.

I have found that when doing bright colors like oranges and yellows. If you put the black behind it it turns them. Really Super dark And you Don't Even Get to watch The color comes through so I put the white behind it and really popped
