All the people around him were her friends, mostly ex boyfriends of hers. Most of the people at the intervention were her management team. She called him several times in rehab and he ignored her. She's given several conflicting interviews on their last conversation. Is she at the Peninsula hotel or at the Ross? She avoids answering specific things. He didn't vanish, he went home and was seen by people staying there. He went to a bar, he went out to eat. He was calling people he knew. the hotel didn't put the call through because she changed the password to her room and he couldn't remember it. Eric Erlandson and Rene Navarette probably know more but have never been questioned. Cali who can't differentiate reality vs. dream yet can remember exactly what video was on MTV when Kurt was in the room with him. Kurt and the doctor claim it was an accident in Rome, I believe them over Ms. World. Show us the Rome note Courtney.

There needs to be a full investigation by professionals with no connection to either Kurt or Courtney. It doesn’t matter what anyone “thinks”, especially fans or haters who never even knew them intimately in their personal lives.
Investigate fully - if anyone other than Kurt is guilty for his death, prosecute them to the fullest extent.

    • @BradyA1124

Pretend you’re a jury. Kurt himself handed Dylan cash to buy the weapon which he then stashed, the ammo was left in a cab and returned separately to Kurt’s house. For proof beyond a reasonable doubt, a jury would need to see the evidence that places that shotgun (and ammo, and heroin works) into anyone else’s possession. That evidence doesn’t exist.
      Case closed. That’s the reality.
Motive means nothing, physical evidence must prove it. Besides, if we’re talking motive, Courtney had the precise opposite motive of murder when she helped to revive him several times (New York 1992 SNL, New York 1993 Roseland, Excelsior hotel Rome 1994).

@@BradyA1124 was that the same cabbie who Kurt told he had been robbed? Don't think his works were ever even fingerprinted and none of the detectives in the photos are wearing gloves. What we can prove is the absolute destruction and mishandling of the evidence in this case.

    • @Melinda_B62
      @Melinda_B62 2 місяці тому +8

@@BradyA1124 No, case not closed & you have no idea what the reality is because you weren’t there when any of those circumstances happened - & you don’t know anything more than any other fan or hater does.
I’m not interested in “pretending I’m a jury” or any other “pretending”. As someone with several relatives in the law enforcement field, I’m interested in a thorough investigation. The field of Forensics has leaped light years ahead in what can be discovered & proven since Cobain’s death back in the 1990’s. Something to note, as you yourself have brought up - is that Courtney was there those three times you listed when Kurt nearly OD’d. All three times Courtney was there. I’d also add that several people close to Kurt have stated that Kurt was done with Courtney & was talking divorce. We all know there would have been a nasty custody battle over Frances, because they both loved her dearly. Is Courtney guilty of having Kurt killed? I don’t know, neither do you.
Therefore, as I posted, there needs to be a thorough investigation. Forensic scientist Dr. Cyril Wecht, who (at the last count that I had heard several months ago) has personally conducted over 21,000 autopsies over his 7-decade career in the field - along with supervising and/or signing off on over 41,000 others, has stated that he cannot remember any case in his entire career involving a highly lethal dose of heroin & a shotgun being used in unison together - he’s stated that an addict wouldn’t be capable of handling a shotgun under such a high dosage - that a large number of them are still found with the needles in their arms because that amount of heroin hits so quickly that they aren’t even capable of pulling the needles out of their arms - much less very neatly tidying up their drug paraphernalia after shooting up & then stretching their arms out far enough to lift a shotgun & aim it accurately before pulling the trigger - & then afterwards laying the shotgun neatly in their arms AFTER killing themselves.
When asked if the Seattle police conducted a sufficient enough investigation before determining Cobain’s death to be a suicide, Wecht’s adamant answer was - & I quote - “No, I do not believe they did. I think they jumped to conclusions & rushed to judgment. They never thought that this should have been a scene that should have been thoroughly handled as a possible homicide. And that resulted in their failure to do a lot of things. You approach a case like this as if it were a homicide. And then the worst that can happen is you may have spent some time unnecessarily, if it proves to be a suicide. But if you start off assuming it’s a suicide, & you do not look for physical evidence - hair, fibers, fingerprints, footprints, piecing everything together, interrogating people & so on then it’s likely you’re going to miss something.”
Any death scene should be treated as a homicide until homicide can be completely ruled out. That way you’ve gone through the motions, followed guidelines & protocols, collected evidence. The Seattle PD didn’t even brush the room for fingerprints. They didn’t look for footprints. They didn’t look for hair follicles. They didn’t test the items that had been touched by Kurt. They didn’t brush the shotgun for fingerprints until 30 days later - AFTER it had been handled by several officers & had smudge marks all over it. They didn’t even notice the damage that had occurred between Cobain’s legs in his private area.
Everything that I’ve stated above is just the beginning of the information that’s been shared of the sickening mishandling of Cobain’s death. There’s much, much more I could list if I had the entire day to do it.
And so, I repeat, a thorough professional investigation needs to be performed concerning Cobain’s death - with today’s advanced investigative skills.

I believe her, even though I am also well aware of the evidence that at the very least raises a very big question mark over whether he could have shot himself.
I personally believe there's a third possibility where he overdosed, and that was the actual cause of death, especially given that he had almost died 4 weeks previously from an overdose, and been in a coma, and been suffering from exhaustion and bronchitis leading up to that.
And Courtney is saying here that he had all these ulcers in his stomach which I had not heard before.
So even taking into account that he may still have had a tolerance to heroin, it seems quite plausible that such a massive dose would have been enough to kill him, because his body was weakened.
And given that he described himself as being passive aggressive, it may not have even been an intentional suicide but a passive one, where he just decided to shoot up, and not care about the consequences.
I think the motive for staging that he shot himself was to deflect attention away from whoever supplied him with the lethal dose of heroin.
I can't imagine any drug dealer would welcome being put in the spotlight and held accountable for contributing to his death by supplying the lethal dose, which might well have even carried a prison sentence.
So Courtney might have had a part in a cover up, but I do not believe that she had him murdered.
It seemed more like she was desperate to try to save his life, and my heart actually goes out to her. Losing someone is hard enough in itself but to actually be accused of having caused their death on top of that, and then blaming herself because of the intervention.

Think there was one piece I hard trouble with but the toxicology etc was just text book ruling. Being an ex addict it isn't far fetched or impossible for someone to do the dose cobain had in his system. Heroin becomes as boring as breathing air (kurts own words)when you continously do it and especially the funds Kurt had he'd have been able to do stupid amounts. Bottom line is people don't wanna believe that someone they admire and love so much would leave the world like that and it's easier to believe a different ending. Cue Courtney love and she fits in just perfect to take the wrap. As for Tom Grant... Very devious and some what clever as to what he's done. But I'm afraid as sad as it is Kurt did end his own life.

It doesn't matter what you do or don't believe, you weren't there. The fact is, he escaped the rehab he was in with Courtney in Cali. That's a fact. He flew to Washington and hid out for a couple days until his end. Also a fact. Sad. Horrible. A shame. But also nothing anyone can ever do about it. Stop saying "that's a fact" when the two things you claim as fact are WRONG. Total NOT facts. Courtney was in NOT in a rehab place with Kurt. They were in LA at the same time, but he was at the Exodus rehab centre and Courtney allegedly was doing her own personal "rehab" in a suite at the luxurious Peninsula Hotel. Descriptions of her demeanour in this time indicate she was taking drugs, but who cares? Hypocrisy isn't a crime.
Kurt did not "hide out" in Washington. The first night back he went to his own home. Pretty normal thing to do. Tried to speak to so-called manny/housekeeper there, Cali de Wit (junkie ex bf of Courtney) and his teenage girlfriend Jessica Hopper, by coming into their room early in the morning to let them know he was home. By their own admission, they barely woke and therefore barely spoke to him. Then in the next few days, he ate out with a group of friends and covered the table's bill by cheque because Courtney had frozen his credit and bank cards. He visited various friends and hung out at Capitol Hill. Then he died and his body was not found for three days. Maybe this is when you think he was "hiding out"?

I agree, all the speculations will not change the fact that he’s no longer with us. The ONLY person who deserves the truth is his daughter. If she still talks to her mother, that means she does not believe in those theories. Krist and Dave also don’t seem to believe in those speculations.
If the key people involved in this tragedy don’t have doubts, why fans insist that he was murdered by Courtney?
I’m not saying Courtney is a good person. She was definitely a bad influence for Kurt and she did lots of crazy stuff, but Kurt chose to marry her and it was his decision.

The rehab was voluntary, he didn't "escape" he was allowed to leave. He was not with Courtney, he wasn't taking her phone calls, they were in separate establishments. He flew to his home in Washington where he was seen by people there, he was calling friends, and he went to a bar. If you are going to state "facts" at least get them correct. If he was killed that actually does need to be looked into.

It’s only a fact in the way that Courtney said those things. Just because she said what happened in his last days doesn’t mean it’s true.

@@littlejackrussell01092 None of us knows what happened, but Krist did say that Kurt became really weird after the Rome incident. The last few weeks before Kurt passed away, he wasn’t even talking to Krist and Dave. Krist had a big fight with Kurt while driving him to the airport. The fact is Kurt was in a terrible mental and emotional state. Imagine being out of a coma and a month later, you are forced by your label to continue your tour with crazy tour dates. He probably didn’t feel healthy enough to continue the tour, but he had no choice due to the contracts, etc.
I can only imagine how Kurt felt those last few weeks: I’m in mental and physical pain, my friendships and marriage are falling apart, I hate my fame and the career that led to all this, I just want everything to end and be in a peaceful place…
Based on all these facts, I’m not surprised that Kurt did what he did.

I don’t really understand why people think he was murdered. He was clearly struggling on his last days. He tried to kill himself in Rome, stopped talking to the other bandmates, had his friend by him a shotgun, an intervention was staged, he fought Krist and tried to jump out of the car on the highway on the way to rehab, he ESCAPED rehab, Courtney love was literally in rehab at the time, nobody saw him for days before his death, and was generally really struggling with addiction and depression. He was very obviously struggling, guys. I really think it was suicide, however Courtney definitely worsened his condition and contributed to his death, which could be murder in a way, but I don’t think she is the one who pulled the trigger. Just my opinion, though, so don’t get mad in the replies. (I know he had a lot of heroin in his system, but he had a very high tolerance, so someone like Kurt could still have pulled the trigger.)
There are a lot of things that are mysterious about his death, sure, but it still was probably suicide with a few suspicious circumstances.
