I grew up in the Phoenix area, Mesa to be exact and I would really enjoy seeing the growth starting back in the early sixties if there are areial records going back that far. I mean by the 1984 Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale, Glendale and of course Mesa, the second largest city in the metro area, had all but merged into a single conglomerate. So going back to the early 70’s and earlier would show the cities which were separated by miles of farmland and desert melding into one.
@@newfame548 I am aware of Vegas’s growth, but still it’s does not compare to the growth rate of the Phoenix metro from the 70’s through the late 90’s averaging at or very near 10% compounded annually. Literally doubling in size every 10 years. Unless of course Vegas now surpasses that growth rate, I have not been in the Phoenix area for the past 20 years.

@@newfame548 A lot of farm land to begin with, and once that was gone, a lot of raw desert. Now the growth is basically just eating up the desert.
