Great Video! I retired to Brazil, so this is bringing back memories of dropping my daughter off at CHOPTS for work and going to Rio for the movies. Hope I didn't leave any ICC tickets behind when I left. FYI. I moved into Gaithersburg over 25 years ago in a TownHome for $138k. Thanx!😎
Reid- Thanks so much for checking out my video. I live in Kentlands in the Upper/Mid Lake District. I absolutely love the community. Feel free to reach out to me directly at 240-793-7495 if there's anything I can help you with.
Love your videos. Have family all in Montgomery county. I’m also with compass on the main line and western suburbs of Philadelphia. Moco is my second home :)
@@blackwood1064 Unfortunately, yes. That mall is dead and has been for a few years now. The pandemic was the death blow. If you go to the food court, you'll see the large canvas they have with the architect plans for the property
I have a question, what sort of salary do you need to be comfortable for two adults and two cats to move to the area? We would be moving from Ohio and I know the numbers are higher in Maryland.
Hi Rob….first of all, thanks for checking out my video. That’s really hard to say what comfortable means to you guys however, I would say most likely $100k+. Let me know if you have any questions or anything you need. It’s easiest to contact me via text at 240-793-7495. 👍👍
Thanks for checking out my video. Yeah….prices are very high but the job market is strong with many people working in BioTech, Life Sciences, Health Care, Hospitality and Government
I grew up in Gburg and trust me it is nothing remarkable. It's not really even nice. It's just sprawling suburbia. Cookie cutter homes and strip malls as far as the eye can see. It's advertised as "near" everything, but in your day-today life that means nothing. It's near the Chesapeake, but you won't go there most of the time. In real terms, you will be living in an ugly suburban community and driving ALL THE TIME. You will need a car to anything, unless you can get into Kentlands. Even then, you'll nee a car to get into the District or to the the Metro. It has crappy mid-Atlantic weather. Brutally hot summers, cold and wet winters, one week of spring, and a fairly nice autumn. There is nothing to do but eat and drink, maybe go to a movie. It's very crime ridden as well. MS-13 is all over. All my friends hated it and left after graduation. I used to think everyone hates their hometown. But after meeting people from all over it seems many like to go back to where they grew up. Not Gburg. We left and never looked back.
Thanks for watching my video. There’s certainly no perfect areas anywhere. I currently live in Gaithersburg, was raised in Rockville, and raised my family in Germantown. I enjoy Montgomery County, and am proud to call it home.

Gaithersburgh is one of better place I've ever been. Good to review. I work for IBM and I was there, close to Lokheed Martin
Thanks for the video . Gaithersburg is such a wonderful place to call home. Nothing is perfect, so people always complain .

Great video Kevin, Gaithersburg seems absolutely charming!
It's charming but I heard it's expensive now
@corey Babcock yes, one of my cousin told me that the other day on the phone 📱
Thank you for the information. I had heard that Lakeforest Mall is being demolished and turned into more condos.
Noooo? Are you serious?

How's the cultural diversity?
One of the most diverse nationally.
VIP?
sheesh, do they have jobs to accommodate those 600k homes?

No!!
stop telling people our secrets!!
Gaithersburg is boring
All of Moco is. On weekends I go to DC. Downtown Frederick and Fairfax County are even more fun. Also only nightlife in Moco is Downtown Bethesda
Most cities in the USA are. There’s rio I guess
