  • Opened the Trick Flow Spring kit 2500100 TFS and also got the TFS stage 1 cam for the fox body in the mail. looking over the parts kit and also noting a difference between the Explorer can and TFS stage 1 cam which might mandate different pushrod length.

Hmmm this has me a bit nervous lol. I am doing the exact same thing on a mountineer motor. But I have a set of E7 heads do you think the pushrods from it would work?

Nice. Curious if different pushrods were required in the end? Doing a similar SBF build and trying to keep costs down.

Ended up needing 6.300" pushrods. Had to be at least .045" longer for the smaller base circle. Thanks for asking!

@@Burnedtoastify I definitely tried to be cheap and used the stock pushrods first but the hydraulic lifters didnt have enough adjustment to compensate haha..it was a little noisy

@@ImprovisedBuilds Ah, interesting. Seems like some folks out there re-used them and maybe got lucky.

@@Burnedtoastify Have you seen anyone else's measurements for the cam base circle? maybe more likely to work with milled heads..
