I do agree with you sometimes I want to eat more food afterwards but the serving size is great we just want to eat more even though we don’t need to. Thanks for watching! Lucky that you haven't had any issues with deliveries and hope it stays that way! Glad to know someone else agrees with my view on the serving size 👍
I eat two meals a day and think it's great. FYI I do hate the microwave but I still love factor meals. 10 minutes in the oven is nothing compared to the time it would take me to procure, prep, cook, and clean up the same meals. Also I use them for lunch at work and I heat them up using an Amazon lunch box that plugs in to the wall or my car so I can heat on the go. It's more like a toaster oven than a microwave. And it still only takes 10 minutes to heat up. I'm a single construction worker and I would say that this system is perfect for me 10/10 across the board. I used to skip meals or eat poorly because I didn't have time with my demanding work schedule. And it actually costs more to do that. A fast food meal comes in as more expensive than factor and there's no comparison in overall quality. It also costs more to buy all the ingredients for such a variety of meals because I'm alone and end up having to throw out half of what I buy before I use it. I was a sous-chef in a bustling city center at a high end restaurant back in my days and I love to cook. I just don't have the time. Anyways great review thank you and my two cents is that I definitely recommend and it's perfect for someone like me.
Seems like they listened as far as the pescatarian options go. They have a ton of fish options on there now with usually at least 3 different seafood dishes per week to choose from.
I know that reviewers talk about meal size with these companies. My expectation would be to supplement with fresh fruit or other nutritious items. Additional filler plus actual fiber that the body also needs.
I just got my first box and I had the chicken and Monterey cheese with riced cauliflower and it was way better than I thought it was going to be. The portions looked small to me too but after eating I was full but not stuffed like a normal eat out meal. The sodium compared to eating out has to be way lower but that’s a guess. After work yesterday I turned the oven on to 375 and then showered came back and threw my dinner in for 9 minutes and then ate. I get it takes longer but it was still faster than cooking or eating out plus no meal prep I’m not a fan and have been looking for a service just like this for myself and for my Parents who are homebound due to health issues. As of now my brother and I take them breakfast and dinner and it’s always fast food so I am hoping I can switch them over to factor. It’s way cheaper to order these pre made meals from Factor than it is eating out twice a day for two people. My brother and I probably spend 50-60 a day on take out. One last thing my order was FedExd to my house so maybe they’ve changed delivery services? Idk maybe it’s different in different cities I am in Kansas City. Thanks for the video!
I was debating on ordering it especially with people complaining about the cost but health and quickness is important. Def trying to not spend all Sunday meal prepping it’s not cheap but I think I’d rather spend the money on healthy then drive thru or ordering. The sodium is concerning. Your video was so helpful ❤
Yea I’ve avoided buying it because of the money but going to the grocery store , trying NY to cook and prepare my own meals, then still buying out bc I don’t have time or no energy to cook. I might as well purchase these ore made meals. It will help on my journey and overall help I hope and save time, money, and your health.
@@brionnajohnson6200you won’t pay much more, especially if you out to eat or order food, groceries aren’t cheap either nowadays. Some people even wrote in another video, they paid the same for one week of groceries as the person in the video for a week of factor meals, it was around 124 dollars … and you need to add gas as well the time.
As long as you're an athlete, the sodium levels are perfect to keep you hydrated. If you aren't an athlete... then cook and prep your own meals to reduce sodium count.
Factor is great. The only thing is, after eating it for three months or so the meals eventually start to get repetitive. And the juices you got are fairly expensive addons to each meal. And unless you LOVE healthy food, you better be ready to ingest a lot of heathy quinoa, and mashed cauliflower that simulates mashed potatoes, and grey pasty stuff over many long green string beans provided as a side salad. After a while my body literally refused to eat any more string beans. I couldn't even touch the package with beans anymore! I recommend just going to the supermarket.
That's funny you're in the Phila area, I'm looking into trying factor and was wondering who they use to deliver to me (40 out of Phila) so I'd probably have axel hire too. Fingers crossed they could find my house 😂
My Husband and I eat 3 meals each per week, mainly due to the cost factor. The meals are delicious! The ONE thing this young man left out is that you CAN heat your meal in your oven. A filet mignon meal (trying to think of the densest protein, the filet) only takes 7 minutes to heat in the oven. So, we can take advantage of all the vitamins and nutrients for an extra 5 minutes! What complete meal, prepared by a chef, including ALL the sauces and seasonings can you prepare and cook in 7 minutes and still maintain all the vitamins and nutrients? We love our Factor meals! They are delicious and Factor provides so many categories of food to choose from. We were spending MUCH more money eating out, not at McDonalds, Burger King or Taco Bell crap, our meals for dinner. Sometimes I can’t even eat the whole meal, because I pay attention to how my stomach feels as I eat. As long as the ingredients are safe for a dog, I’ll give the remainder of my meal to our Labrador. She eats healthy food too, by The Farmers Dog! Just as with human nutrition if you eat healthily there are only annual Vet visits. We’ve shared our experience eating Factor meals with friends and many have chosen to try Factor and love it! Try Factor, you’ll be glad you did!
I would love for folks to compare sodium levels across everything . Home cooked meals, other services etc. Hard to tell in a vacuum if factor is an outlier
I know the meals say they will stay good for 7 days. Could I order 2 weeks worth of meals and freeze the second weeks meals to allow them to last longer?
The factor meals use plastic type 1 containers to store meals and told us to microwave it. But plastic 1 is known not safe for microwave. Now I have to change plates myself which I prefer not to. Can someone help educate me whether they are actually safe to microwave or not? Tried to contact factor customer care, but they just kept emphasizing it is eco friendly plastic and didn’t answer my question directly.
I think everything in moderation is safe. She didn’t factor meals every now and again I don’t think it’ll kill you from the expose plastic. However, you eat this meal every single day three times a day for quite a while then maybe it won’t be the healthiest for you
From their FAQ: All of our meals are delivered to you in completely BPA-free CPET individual plastic containers! CPET stands for Crystallizable PolyEthylene Terephthalate. These plastics are safe for food storage as well as heating in the microwave or oven. They are also designated as recyclable 1, so go ahead and put them in the recycling bin after you've enjoyed the meals.
I will usually order from factor once or twice a month every other week. One meal a day. But if I have time to make my own meal then I would just do that. These are very convenient when I’m tight on time
Im starting a new job working 12 hr shifts. 2 days on 3 off and vise vera.. so i orerdered 10 meals to have and to take with me on the days i work. I also need to be eating 1200 cal a day to loose weight. Do you suggest this company or should i go with another company?
I personally like eating from this company because of the ease of use and time saved. The food also tastes good once you find which meals are your favorite. If time is a big component for you then I think this option makes sense since it is only 2 minutes to prepare. I would take a look at the nutritional content in each meal and determine for yourself if it’s right for you. But trying it out to see if you like how it tastes is a good first step
4:00 I know it’s over a year by now, but know you can put it in the oven for 7-10 minutes (after pre-heating) or you can also cook it in a pan, right? 😂
But I do like the fact that I don’t feel sluggish. After the fact, I don’t like the sensation of being full I’ve never like the sensation of being full I like to eat and feel satisfied content I don’t like to eat and before and I’m comfortable and tired and lack of energy are overwhelmed And those are things that happen when you eat a lot or over eat or if you’re full, you feel tired, you feel sleepy you don’t have energy you don’t feel nutrients you feel like you made a bad decision, but when I eat factor meals I don’t feel overwhelmed overly tired and uncomfortable. You know I don’t know if that makes sense I like the fact that I’m able to eat and feel satisfied and steal able to do what I need to do without feeling like I need to take a nap whenever I would eat something I would just feel overly tired and uncomfortable and I blamed it on hot sauce. Can you believe how crazy that is not being able to eat spicy foods and that’s why I am so out of breath and so tired. No, I put hot sauce on the factors meals. I still add peppers and spicy things the meals but I don’t even have to put anything to Jazz the meals up what I’m saying. Factor 75 is good by itself and I realized it wasn’t the hot sauce in the spicy foods. It was just the unhealthy shit that I was eating basically I am not a nutritionist. I am not a doctor and I don’t recommend anybody to go to the extreme that I have gone but it helps me like it really helps like it has changed everything they do need to give people the option if they don’t want any soccer on their food or any added sugar, but other than that, I love factor it’s pretty dope.
I’m a african American woman and I can say this site has delicious food no type of seasoning problems which I’m not to big on seasoning especially if I want to eat better but factor is the truth! The feeling when you’re full but not tired and have all kind of energy! That’s been me I use to hate being full because then I couldn’t move which made me even more sleepy which I’m sure was one of the main reasons I had reflux ged problems but now on my 7th meal and I feel so good after eating i literally turned down my boyfriend I request for Taco Bell 😂 he was shocked but I told him I ate a factor mean a hour or two ago and yes surprisingly I wasn’t interested in eating that mess (trying to get him to fully come to this side he will eat healthy things but still will pizza and tacos 😂) but feeling better food tasting great and still having my energy all day because I ate fruits n veggies when I wanna snack factor meal at 5 or 6 no dinners after that time and I can say I already prepared my next 32 meals juices smoothies cheesecake from factor on top of me still having meals here to hold me off until then 😀😀😀😀😀

Yeah, the anti salt fears are completely unfounded (except for those who have kidney problems). We simply urinate excess salt. Koreans consume massive amounts of salt (kimchi often consumed with every meal), and they have very low rates of heart issues (one of the lowest). We as humans also used to consume way more salt as that's how everything was preserved (in salt). Sodium is a vital nutrient.
Yeah, humans can safely consume massive amounts of salt providing your kidneys are normal (don't drink bottle of soy sauce of course). Salt is an important electrolyte and also does a bunch of other things in the body. Sodium intake was correlated with heart disease (Koreans consume high levels of salt aka kimchi, also have one of the lowest rates of heart disease) or something generations ago and dietary guidelines were made from that that still stick around in people's minds.
Definitely not a health expert nutritionist. The diet you're following is a big factor upon your sodium intake. You said one meal was 37% of daily value for sodium, so that's means if you're eating 3 meals a day of factor, then you're 11% over the %DV...which honestly shouldn't even be followed. Get regular blood work done if you're truly worried about your nutrition intake and whatnot. Listen to your body if you can't afford regular blood work and overall stay hydrated. The main electrolyte is sodium, which helps retain water, meaning you stay more hydrated. Look at actual hydration drinks and powders, not Powerade or Gatorade, they have sodium, potassium, chlorine, magnesium and calcium. Every body is different and you should listen to yourself at the end of the day. 37% sodium for one meal at 500-700 calories is not a problem. A single double cheeseburger from McDonald's has 49% the %DV for sodium at 1120 mg. That's just one. And it has 450 calories. Way too many carbs and fat together to even count. Worry about the actual diet, not salt please. If you work out, you lose electrolytes, aka sodium, aka salt. So there's nothing wrong with replenishing those.
You say in the video that you don't think you can heat them in the oven. Pause your video at 32 seconds and read the packaging. This is the same on every meal. Guess you're like the stereotypical male and don't read instructions LOL
Avoiding sodium is a myth. You do need it. Just eat potassium and drink water, have a balanced diet. 3 of these meals (based on the 31% shown in the video) gives you just about 1 day worth of sodium which makes sense.
FACTOR IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! I signed up for the service, followed the prompts, and 10 minutes later decided to cancel the service. They charged me $60 regardless of the cancellation saying that I had "missed the cut-off." Apparently I got interested, and signed into their service all within the last 10 minutes to spare. Seem outrageously convenient for them? It is. They refuse to give my money back and are wasting the first box of food by shipping it to my home even though I won't be home. This company cares more about stealing your wallet than providing an up-front and honest experience. No reason I should be charged. No reason my$60 shouldn't be coming back to me for a cancelled service. You mean to tell me March 30th within 10 minutes of scrolling isn't enough time to keep them from charging me for June 6th? Come on guys. This is a scam and they'll be out of business soon.
@@HDBnB1 It wasn't. But please continue telling everyone this is an excellent service! After talking to 3 different customer service agents about how I never wanted the service the only response I got was, "Tough luck. We charged you!" I would stop making videos about this sham of a company asap.
Of course, fresh food which is immediately cooked via stove or oven, delivers the best most nutritious food for people. Food that has been cooked, frozen and shipped is not as good, but Factor stuff is probably infinitely better than your last Taco Bell run or DoorDash order! ;-) Also, there is nothing unhealthy about microwaves. ua-cam.com/video/HnI4aLsbzlI/v-deo.html

I do agree with you sometimes I want to eat more food afterwards but the serving size is great we just want to eat more even though we don’t need to.
I’ve tried HelloFresh, every plate, home chef, and Factor. You definitely outlined all pros and cons.
🤘🏽😎😁
Thanks for watching! Lucky that you haven't had any issues with deliveries and hope it stays that way! Glad to know someone else agrees with my view on the serving size 👍
Out of HelloFresh, every plate, home chef, and Factor, which do you prefer?
Oven works, between 7 and 14 mins to heat. Tastes great!
Good to know!
Seems like they listened as far as the pescatarian options go. They have a ton of fish options on there now with usually at least 3 different seafood dishes per week to choose from.
I’ve noticed! I usually go for Baja salmon, pesto salmon and sometimes the shrimp! Not a fan when they do Parmesan shrimp though
Every Factor75 box has an oven option directly under microwave... Attention to detail is key to life. 👍
I know that reviewers talk about meal size with these companies. My expectation would be to supplement with fresh fruit or other nutritious items. Additional filler plus actual fiber that the body also needs.
Yea I always add someone on the side. It definitely helps! Fruit would be great too
I just got my first box and I had the chicken and Monterey cheese with riced cauliflower and it was way better than I thought it was going to be.
Great to hear your experience! Yea I think the delivery service is dependent on where you live.
Really glad it helped you out! Making an update video on it soon so keep an eye out for that!
Let me know how it goes for you!
K great presentation enjoyed your honesty. That’s what’s up cause I always get crummy packages and I have a mail room.😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
Thank you. A lot of useful information.
Glad you enjoyed it! Feel free to use my referral link to save some money off your first meal!
800-900mg of sodium really isn't a big deal. I mean, isn't this meal supposed to be about 1/3 your cals? sodium isn't unhealthy.
Good to know! Thanks for the clarification
Great info. Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Glad it could be of value to you
As long as you're an athlete, the sodium levels are perfect to keep you hydrated. If you aren't an athlete... then cook and prep your own meals to reduce sodium count.
I agree now!
sodium is fine drink plenty of fluids and stay active its not an issue also msg is not bad
I agree! Started taking electrolytes and loving them!
Thanks for this! I really have to think whether I want to do this now due to the sodium content.
Happy I could help out! Yea sodium can get high but I still feel pretty good after eating the meals. Still doing it to this day
I've seen a couple of reviews that say Fresh 'N Lean has a lower sodium count in comparison to Factor.
Just drink more water throughout the day to help flush the extra sodium.
Good point!
Sorry but that made me laugh…
Factor is great. The only thing is, after eating it for three months or so the meals eventually start to get repetitive. And the juices you got are fairly expensive addons to each meal. And unless you LOVE healthy food, you better be ready to ingest a lot of heathy quinoa, and mashed cauliflower that simulates mashed potatoes, and grey pasty stuff over many long green string beans provided as a side salad. After a while my body literally refused to eat any more string beans. I couldn't even touch the package with beans anymore! I recommend just going to the supermarket.
I can see this happening when all of your meals consist of these. I like to do one of these meals a day then take 2-3 weeks off
Well luckily for me I eat the same crap all the time 😅only eggs and rice and beans so having factor being repetitive isn’t an issue
@jogon2433 you’ll be fine with this!
That's funny you're in the Phila area, I'm looking into trying factor and was wondering who they use to deliver to me (40 out of Phila) so I'd probably have axel hire too. Fingers crossed they could find my house 😂
Apparently depending on your zip it might be different! Let me know how you like it!
Glad you are also enjoying your meals! Never thought about using the oven since I love the 2 minute microwave ready factor but glad it works for you!
Feel good eating 2 a day! I have been performing better in the gym after eating these meals.
Love to hear it!
It’s actually bomb not gonna lie I was surprised
I’m still eating it today! 2 years later
I've had major delivery issues in IL. they use DHL. Love the food tho!!
Sorry to hear that! After I moved to a new apartment building the deliveries have been great!
I would love for folks to compare sodium levels across everything . Home cooked meals, other services etc. Hard to tell in a vacuum if factor is an outlier
After learning more shoot the importance of sodium I actually don’t think it’s bad for you in moderation and depending on your lifestyle
Love the seek discomfort towel in the back 😍
Love the fact that you know who they are 🙏
i have to try this, i spend half my days cooking AND cleaning, what a mess!
It’s definitely saved a bunch of time! I still use them today! New video coming soon
I eat 2-3 meals a day and feel great as well!
Love to hear it!
Nice review thanks. TU!!!!!
Ayyy always cool to meet a fellow owl 🦉
Would you be down to try this with other meal prep services like coolunity? Etc. Would be awesome to see an honest pescatarian review
Always open to trying new delicious healthy foods
I know the meals say they will stay good for 7 days. Could I order 2 weeks worth of meals and freeze the second weeks meals to allow them to last longer?
You probably could. I know I’ve eaten them past expiration before and haven’t had any issues
I have yet to try the juices or the smoothies or the juice shots
Mines is fedex and had no issues so far . 😊
Glad to hear it!
Legendary vid, but a legendary man!
Oh stop you’re too kind 😇
Sodium doesn't really matter unless you have high blood pressure
That’s good to know!
Great review. Have you tried any other meals?
I get the vegan and salmon meals!
I think you misread it.
Do you just eat one factor meal a day? or do you also eat other meals along side factor?
I will usually order from factor once or twice a month every other week. One meal a day. But if I have time to make my own meal then I would just do that. These are very convenient when I’m tight on time
The sodium realllly hits you hard if you eat 2-3 meals per day. I had intense cravings for sugar as an antidote.
I think I had that same antidote 😅
Then you should drink more, water and electrolytes.
Maybe they saw your video. They have definitely stepped it up, way more pescatarian and vegan options now.
Do you think?? Now all I do are pescatarian meals ha ha. Six meals of salmon :-)
@@HDBnB1 Awesome. Do you notice health benefits? I feel amazing when I eat less red meat.

I’m still microwaving ! Loving it still. Will make an update video soon
Do they reshipped u meal every week or u have to buy another week
Once you setup your account it’s a subscription so every week
Mine are delivered by Fedex and had no issues.

Do they have spaghetti and meatballs?
Not sure but if you try it out you can see their options online!

That’s been me I use to hate being full because then I couldn’t move which made me even more sleepy which I’m sure was one of the main reasons I had reflux ged problems but now on my 7th meal and I feel so good after eating i literally turned down my boyfriend I request for Taco Bell 😂 he was shocked but I told him I ate a factor mean a hour or two ago and yes surprisingly I wasn’t interested in eating that mess (trying to get him to fully come to this side he will eat healthy things but still will pizza and tacos 😂) but feeling better food tasting great and still having my energy all day because I ate fruits n veggies when I wanna snack factor meal at 5 or 6 no dinners after that time and I can say I already prepared my next 32 meals juices smoothies cheesecake from factor on top of me still having meals here to hold me off until then 😀😀😀😀😀
I try to loose 25-30 lbs from body type 30 to 10 fat body type and 6 packs just using factor

Yup

On a keto diet, sugar in all its forms should be avoided.

Of course!!
There is a massive long time fallacy about sodium. Step away from mainstream
So true! I’ve learned recently how important salt and sodium is for you when sweating in high amounts.
😂
Thanks for watching!
sodium is not bad for you....myth
Agreed!
Yes
You say in the video that you don't think you can heat them in the oven. Pause your video at 32 seconds and read the packaging. This is the same on every meal. Guess you're like the stereotypical male and don't read instructions LOL
Guilty 😊
This has a lot of sodium and is terrible for you.
There is quite a bit of sodium in there!
Ok...........lol
Avoiding sodium is a myth. You do need it. Just eat potassium and drink water, have a balanced diet. 3 of these meals (based on the 31% shown in the video) gives you just about 1 day worth of sodium which makes sense.
Another believer in that myth. Just like People who think msg is bad. 😂
So sorry to hear that issue! Hope it gets resolved!
@@HDBnB1 It wasn't. But please continue telling everyone this is an excellent service! After talking to 3 different customer service agents about how I never wanted the service the only response I got was, "Tough luck. We charged you!" I would stop making videos about this sham of a company asap.

@@Ateezwooyoung glad to know that! I was about to say, the food is pretty dang good as I've been eating for almost 2 years now!
Couldn’t agree more!
Factor food is not frozen though. You can freeze it, but the ingredients are never frozen until you put it in a freezer.
