I have had the Klim for about a year and love it. I went down with it in a slow turn, about 20 mph. Blind corner hit some sand and the jacket performed awesome. Couldn't even tell the jacket took a hit. Best jacket I have had for summer riding.

I bought the Klím Induction jacket for exactly the same reasons you mentioned. I only thought about the price at time of purchase. Now, every time I ride with this jacket I appreciate the quality and fit. Great review, thanks.

I went to the Klim factory showroom in Idaho and the Induction is what I left with, given that summer is coming. I really liked that the elbow pockets for the armour allow some adjustment of their position. The one size fits all jackets always feel like forearm armour instead of elbow armour. As always, excellent review!

I now own the Icon and I really like it. I got a large and will keep it, but if I were to order another colour I'd go for a medium. Tons of air flow with all the protection you'd need and expect in a mesh jacket.
Thank you for a great- well researched and informative- video. I’ll add the Olympia Switchback 2 to the top of the line. It is LOT’S of mesh, Cordura chassis, has an inside-outside rain liner, and, most importantly, it has CE rated elbow, shoulder, and back protection. At $150, it beats almost any other mesh jacket. Paint with their air glide 4 pants.
